Buyer beware: when you buy from this place, you are basically shopping at Home Depot, a big box retailer not known for quality. We paid $11,000 for 2 insulated garage doors. The doors are beautiful. However, the installation process has been an absolute nightmare. CR has made 6 trips to the house and the doors still aren't installed correctly. One installer didn't predrill the holes before installing the support brackets and that resulted in all of the interior trim being pulled off the wall, which had to be repainted at my expenses. Another installer came back to install vinyl trim and he installed white instead of the brown we ordered to match the doors. See pic. When CR sent another installer to replace the white trim with the brown trim, the installer left large gaps between the trim and the house. See pic. The materials used to hide the nails and screws fell off within a few hours of installation. See pic. The installer says the garage doors come equipped with free cameras but he wasn't willing to set up the cameras so we could start using them. The brown vinyl trim used for the replacement had white paint marks on it. See pic. I should have paid the extra $1500 to go with the local mom and pop business who would've knocked out this project in one shot. Lesson learned. read more

My wife and I went to the CR Design Center in Decatur and met with Kerry Escobedo. First, CR has an incredible selection of countertops, tile flooring options, etc. While a bit overwhelming (at least for me; my wife was in her groove and wanted to absorb it all), Kerry made the process of narrowing selections down to decisions. Kerry was spectacular and has quite the eye and ear, listening to what we were looking for and matching it with options. We are extremely excited for what awaits us when everything is installed. read more

Unfortunately there isn't a yelp for Westside Design Center. Pros: great showroom Cons: Three visits rep still couldn't process tile request. Followed up multiple times. Finally, gave up and went elsewhere, Second, asked design rep for mirror recommendations after sending a drawing. Crickets!! Third: zero follow up for kitchen remodel going on two weeks The greatest thing is, the universe must have been looking out. If you can't get the simple things handled, then major renovations must be a nightmare. Design rep could use training in follow up. Had to actually follow up for initial design appt for tile help. Good luck on major projects utilizing this business. My luck has been awful. read more

We just completed a kitchen renovation that involved replacing our countertops and backsplashes. Working with Darren Domino at Construction Resources in Decatur made what could have been an extremely stressful project, much less so. He personally came to our home and patiently answered the multitude of questions we had about the process we were undertaking. Darren was readily available throughout, to answer additional questions and keep us informed of the installation schedule as it progressed. The installation was flawless by the incredible team lead by Claudio. We opted to use the same beautiful quartzite for the countertops and back-splash; Darren himself suggested completely surrounding the kitchen window with the same material, adding a beveled edge on the inside panel. I replaced a brand new island counter top so that it matched the quartz with the rest of kitchen. They did the install of all the counters in the home when it was being built and still had someone come out to do a template on the new island. So they definitely should have known what edge to match, When they installed the new island top they did not match the edge type with the rest of house. So now I spent 3000 dollars and still don't have matching countertops. read more

We ended up finding the perfect countertop and she was very prompt in her communication after our meeting to make sure I received a quote in a timely manner. We are in our 16th home is some 50 years of marriage, My wife wanted to completely renovated out Kitchen. Over the years we have done this type of project. We interviewed 4 Kitchen Design Companies and after two disappeared during the process we found one of the best in our history of remodeling. When it came to countertops, our design company did not have someone that had Cambria. That is when we found CR Home Design Center via referral . Wow it was an awesome experience. They had an unbelievable showroom, great sales staff and most important the leader by the name of Mike Maddox. He is a total professional. What he say's he will do, he does it. We had no excuses just execution. If you check them out and decide to use this awesome company, we would recommend asking for Justin as the installer. He did an outstanding job in our home. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY - The work they do is mediocre at best and overpriced. Atlanta Kitchen also has a total lack of integrity in their business practices and will not stand behind their shoddy work. To top it off their staff is rude and will not help you when needed. Not surprising you "have no record" of me given how poorly your company is run. Either that is not true or it's a weak attempt to deflect your chronic issues as clearly shown in the reviews already posted. I have already contacted your parent company as well. And yet the work still isn't competed correctly and no none has offered any solutions or so much as an apology. read more

I ordered counter tops from costco and this was the outfit that they sent out to do the project. We ended up using them, and i am unhappy with the service that i received. The measurement guy screwed up the layout, and the sink opening was cut too small. They came to re-cut after i had to call multiple times and got stuck with a large invoice to pay. Costco did not do anything to help at all and left me to pay the bill. I attempted to get in touch with these guys and only received a response after refusing to pay the invoice for 3 months. After having a conversation with the office we came to an agreement. We did have issues with the cabinets, and that is what caused the measurements. We agreed on a price and they agreed to take care of the sink issue. I am happy with the ending, but wish the response was quicker. Overall the product is great and we are happy with the counter tops. I added 2-stars for the great product. read more

I went CR Flooring for the first time and my experience was wonderful! As soon as I walked in I was offered a very delicious and refreshing cold bottle of water. I also booked an appointment with Ann Copeland who's always smiling and just overall has a good aura that makes people want to continue shopping at CR Flooring! Great experience with having my Quartz countertop replaced. My salesperson Darren Domino was very responsive to my questions and returned my telephone calls promptly. The countertop had a few scratches when delivered however Darren arranged for their repair person to come out promptly and the problem was taken care of. read more

We used CR for new countertops in our kitchen and could not be more pleased. Darren Domino, our project manager, was great to work with and promptly addressed any questions or concerns. On the day of installation, the installers found a crack in the sink we had purchased from another vendor. We were able to get a replacement sink delivered the next day and Darren had another crew out that same day to install the new sink. Everything looks great, and we are very grateful that they discovered the problem with the sink and got the new sink installed so promptly. The WORST customer service ever. We experienced water damage in our kitchen. When we got ready for reconstruction, our contractor recommended that we reach out to Construction Resources to see if they would contract with us to reset the 60x80 piece of granite. I called twice and left very detailed messages asking them to call me even if they were not interested or did not do this work to let me know. They could not even be bothered to do that. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I know I sure will when I remodel my kitchen next summer. read more

They also do business as Atlanta Kitchen. I am sharing my experience as follows: This was a horrible experience. We never got clear information on when our countertop would be arriving. When they came, they installed it wrong. The person who was "helping" us, instead of apologizing, seemed irritated at the inconvenience that HIS people made a mistake. When my husband called him (for the second time that day to find out when we needed to be home for the crew to come, he complained he called him every 15 minutes). Extremely unprofessional. The people who installed left debris everywhere, dusty footprints everywhere and did not clean up after themselves. We just had to powerwash their debris off our driveway. They attempted to fix it and it is still not what we wanted. They cut off too much and they did not install the quartz dead center like they were supposed to. We are so exhausted from the process we are letting it go but we wish we had listened to a friend who warned us against this place and stayed far far away. Let this be your warning- Stay far far away. read more

I recently built a custom home and turned to Construction Resources for tile, stone, countertops, carpet and sinks. These guys are very good, the sales person, Tatiana Brose was awesome in helping me pick out things which gave me the look I wanted at the price I wanted. Strengths: 1) Fantastic service. Tatiana was almost clairvoyant. I would give her a vague description of what I wanted the bathroom to look like, and she would show me 2-3 stone tile and countertop products which were what I was looking for. It was really efficient and she really had superb taste. 2) Prices were pretty good. I went to signature tile initially, and these guys had better product at better prices than what I would have bought at Signature tile. 3) Amazing selection. The range of products they have available is amazing. Especially in tile and countertop areas, but also for carpet. 4) Good at value. When I was choosing carpet, I could have easily over-spent and they helped me find a solution which was higher quality and lower price than my initial selection. What could be better: 1) There is more lead time to get product than at home depot - but for the quality and range you get here its a small issue. read more

Had work done through a restoration company that used Atlanta Kitchen. Since the restoration company did not pay them (even though I've paid the restoration company), they placed a lien on my house. Though they have the bill to name, address and number on their invoice matching the restoration company, instead of pursuing them, they are pursuing me. I believe we just got lucky with the quality of work they provide, because if they can't place their efforts in the right place with something as simple as getting paid, what should make anyone think they can do an acceptable job with their kitchen. read more

Wow! What a nice place to shop. Very good selection of granite, marble and quartz. I was pleasantly surprised. The people who attended me were good and quite knowledgeable in the business. They gave me all details on what to expect. Educated me well on the products. Went through the whole process. I hand selected my granite slabs and I was very happy.
