On April 13, 2022 we purchased luxury vinyl plank flooring from the St Petersburg store in Florida. The salesperson added 10% additional material to the order. We are seniors and DIYers who enjoy doing projects together. We had intentions of pulling the rugs from our 4 bedrooms and laying the flooring ourselves. We had finished 2 rooms when we both got sick. It took us many weeks to feel strong enough to finish the last 2 rooms. We finished mid August and ended up with 8 unopened boxes which we wanted to return to the store. I have my receipt and noticed there was a 90 day return policy. I called the store to see if they would credit our credit card rather than give us over $500 in store credit but they said they could not. Unfortunately, we have no need for any additional flooring products much less $500 worth. We're hoping someone can help us. read more

I am posting this revue and giving all 5 stars solely based on my phone conversation with Lori. I am doing a total renovation of my bathroom of white tiles with a blue glass mosaic design trim. I specifically wanted a deep blue grout for the white floor tiles. What I had ordered elsewhere and waited over a week to get would not work with the tiles. I was online, calling and running all around trying to find my blue grout. Finally, I connected with Lori at Floor & Decor in Clearwater. Talking to her was like talking to the real Santa Claus in the movie, "Miracle on 34th Street". She told me that they didn't have what I wanted, but she was able to point me to another store that probably could help me and they had exactly what I wanted. My husband and I have purchased floor tile from Floor & Decor in Clearwater on 3 separate occasions in the last 2 months. In each case we encountered Will Weir. There were some routine logistics but in each case, Mr. Weir took control and paved what could have been a bumpy road. His knowledge of tile and related products as well as the overall operation of Floor & Decor was impressive. His ability to sell without being pushy was greatly appreciated. He followed up after the sale by calling us at home to make certain everything was produced as promised. Because of Mr. Weir's professionalism and the quality of tile at Floor & Decor, we have already referred friends and will continue to do so. I have visited this location multiple times and have had a great experience every time! I have been helped by Taylor on a couple different occasions and she is FANTASTIC ! She is very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product. We wanted laminate and marble and she knew so much about both. She also took the time to walk through and help us locate exactly what we wanted and was very patient with us. She stayed with us until we were through the checkout line. Thank you, Taylor!!! When we were ready to check out, the lines were a bit long, but all four registers were open. Lori at the register was very kind and helpful. She was quick too. Overall a very nice experience. My recent experience with Floor and Decor is a mixed review; however, two gentlemen at the Pro Desk in Clearwater FL (Shawn Snow and Chuck Dixon) deserve a big round of applause! They were very professional and super helpful in getting my flooring materials together for the installation and taking time to answer my questions and concerns. Chuck even went out of his way to help with a substitute piece, as Floor and Décor was able to locate these pieces for over a month. Not only were the pieces in the Clearwater store - they were a perfect match! Chuck took this initiative to make sure I had what I needed. Both Shawn and Chuck really are the "Pros" - I think they should be set as an example for the rest of the Floor and Décor community. read more

As my husband and I were wondering around the store looking at the endless possibilities in tile options we were getting more and more overwhelmed...in steps KELLY with her bright and cheerful attitude she took quick control of the situation! Best shopping experience i have ever had looking for floor tiles and bathroom tiles, the employees name was Layn , i was looking for floor tiles he went out of his way to assist my sister and I choosing the right tiles , then we went to the bathroom wall and floor tiles , he assisted us every step of the way explaining to us the different tiles and matching them up for us , he was so knowledgeable and so pleasant in explaining everything to us from the cost to how to maintain them, making the shopping so much easier for us. Went to Floor Decor several times, specifically looking for waterproof flooring to replace carpets in bedroom. Our first encounter was with Chris (deco) as soon as we walked in. She took us around the store and we looked at a variety of options from porcelain tile to luxury vinyl planks. She was very helpful, patient, and personable. Other employees also were very helpful, but do not remember their names. Each were very passionate and took the time to tell us what they liked about one product over another. I highly recommend going to Floor Decor for their variety of products, competitive prices, and excellent customer service. read more

I was just going to look at the many travertine tiles to choose the right one for my bathroom remodel.I musta had that "help me" look on my face when the nice Nick came my way. He steered me to the area i needed with a wealth of information to pick the stone to my needs.He just finished his bathroom with travertine.I felt most at ease with his expertise,professionalism and kindness.I purchased everything he recommended and was out of there quickly with lots of heavy tiles loaded up for me.:) Big thanks to Nick for making an otherwise overwhelming chore for this 60 yr.old woman! We came to get backsplash. Trisha M. happily returned all the samples I had brought home to try out. The manager Chris D. helped us get all the materials we needed to install the backsplash we chose. He was so patient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The customer service was above and beyond any other business I have been to. They have a large selection to choose from and great prices too. Chris loaded all the tile backsplah in our vehicle. What ever I don't use can always be returned. Thanks Chris for the excellent customer service. And remember every stone has a story! read more

While the prices and variety are great at this store...the customer service or lack there of leaves much to be desired. It takes up to 20 minutes to find an associate to assist you. Heaven forbid you need access to a pallet that isnt on the bottom shelf because you will be told there's a 2 hour wait like I was this evening. I had to tell the associate I would need to leave to go to a different location before he assisted in getting the flooring down. While I understand the warehouse was "busy" "pulling other orders" isnt the customer in front of you just as important????? read more

This store is AMAZING!! My husband and I are first time renovators, beginning with our master bath. We've officially made 10trips to this store getting the tile and all the pieces and parts as we're learning. Every staff member has been incredibly helpful! We have been here dozens of times to buy tile and flooring. Today I encountered the best employee, Danielle, at this store. We could not find anyone in the store to help and we were getting ready to leave. Danielle stepped and was extremely helpful with her suggestions. Do not use Castle Floors as an installer underneath floor and decor. Eric Barr is the owner of the company Castle Floors. He hires on poor labourers that do poor quality craftsmanship. He has unfinished projects. He is also being sued by several people for destroying their homes. He is a cheat, thief, compulsive gambler, and a racist. Stay away from Castle Floors. This store has poor customer service and the managers are a joke. they dont know how to take care of employees...
