We have been to Floor and Decor several times for many different projects. The Staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. The store offers everything from ceramic and porcleain tiles, wood flooring, laminates and brick veneers and more. The selections are quite vast. Always check around because they have sale items which can be at a nice discount. We found tile for our Gym floor at 1/2 price. Parking isn't a problem. read more

Went to pick up tile my wife ordered for our bathroom. There were 6 boxes that weighted 80 pounds each. The guy comes out with the forklift and drops the pallet and drives away. The lady working the counter says.....sorry he has a bad back. We don't have anyone to help you load it. Uh ok. So by myself I had to lift 6 large (80 pounds each) boxes off the floor into my car. Now I blew my back out and it's killing me. What the guy COULD have done to help me out was put the pallet at waist level while in the forklift. This way I wouldn't have to bend deep down to get each one. Better bring help if you have heavy stuff to load. Floor and decor isn't going help read more

We went to this location on 2 occasions to look at tile. I liked what I saw however it appears that employees are trained to not greet or make eye contact with customers. I ended up purchasing tiles at the Lowe's across the way where I was helped by a very helpful lady. read more

We stopped by Floor & Decor yesterday and had such a wonderful experience. We were looking for a tile that would match what we currently have due to a major leak. Jonathan who is a salesman in the store is a blessing. The store should definitely recognize a salesman who goes above & beyond his call of duty. These are qualities that are hard to find especially nowadays & this coming from a person in sales. Not only did he direct us to the bathroom tiles in different sections. He listened & was very caring. We ultimately found a tile to match our current bathroom. He then advised us of the plumbing supplies, grout & accessories that I didn't even know existed in the store. Thank you Jonathan for making my experience at home & trying to locate a tile with you was the BEST! I've been putting off writing this review for a few weeks until my project was complete and I must say that I very rarely if ever experience the level of service and friendliness as I have shopping at Floor and Decor. We were shopping for tile for a new kitchen floor and we had a ton of questions about product, materials and durability. Everyone we encountered at this store couldn't be more helpful. Even when we needed a second opinion, the team members were quick to find another associate to add their input. The new floor would incorporate heat and after doing research online, I still didn't have all the answers. Enter Mike at the pro-desk, friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to steer me in the right direction and get the correct supplies I would need. We wanted to add a wifi thermostat to our system and he helped us with getting the right one as well. Super big shout-out to Hugo who seems to live there as he was there on virtually all of my visits to help with whatever I needed. From tile selection to special order pickup he was always a friendly face to see on my visits. There were many others whose names escape me throughout the store that either lent an opinion or even offered to help me load my car with 750 lbs of tile. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but you are not likely to find a nicer bunch of people to help with your project. Open an account to keep all of your receipts in the system with your phone number instead of keeping track of all of those paper receipts. Seems everything they do here is aimed at their customers and I, for one, love this and will steer everyone in need to them. read more

I just visited the Commack location and an associate, a young man named Jonathan noticed I was struggling, trying to google products to check and see if they were the right fit for our home/lifestyle (kids-pets-etc.) He offered assistance and answered so many questions and offered suggestions and was literally the most helpful employee I have ever encountered, anywhere. I'm not one to leave reviews but this young man was so helpful and professional. It was my first time shopping at Floors Decor & More and instead of shopping at the "big box home improvement stores" i will absolutely be back. Thank you again Jonathan. I went from completely overwhelmed to completely comfortable, feeling confident with my purchase thanks to you!! I couldn't find the manager before leaving the store but I really hope he sees this! I came in to find some tile samples for a house I'm flipping and asked a tall fellow named James for some assistance.. he was kind enough to stop what he was doing and walk me around the store to find everything I needed. Went into F&D at the Commack facility (the one-time Target store) to get grout sponges that the web said cost $4.99 for a 3-pack. Turned out they were $8.99 (i.e., the price shown online is incorrect). Then, I got a small bottle of grout sealer. This all sounds easy, but, two staffers didn't know where either item was, both of which were WAY back in the store, forcing shoppers to go past aisles of tiles, planks, etc., that they don't want. Then, I got to the front, where two women had been waiting to return items since before I had walked in; one of the women hadn't even bought the items from this store, and, apparently, didn't have a receipt. It took nearly 15 minutes to get what I wanted, and, still, neither of the two women had been processed. Then, a third woman showed up for a return, just as I got to the one register, which, for some, bizarre reason, is labeled "5", even though it's the only register, next to the returns register, which was closed! When I asked, politely, if someone could open another register, the gentleman who seemed to be in charge said, "It'll only be a minute, sir." Not when you're still fussing with the first woman, who, at one point, said, "I've been here an hour!!!" I put the grout sealer down and walked out. I can get similar products elsewhere. I will not return to F&D. read more

From start to finish I highly recommend Floor and Decor! I went a few weeks ago and met with Lex one of their design specialists. I had ideas of what I needed for my bathroom and received helpful guidance, suggestions and expertise to bring my vision together. Bought a few samples to check out look and feel at home. Just went back this week to purchase all my tile. Design Specialists had gone home for the day - as it was later in the night, and had Katelyn assigned to help me translate my square footage into appropriate number of boxes of tile for walls, design and flooring. Incredibly helpful!!!! We loaded up numerous carts together and was guided towards grout and sealant choices. After checkout had another associate (sorry did not get his name) help me load my truck and offered guidance on best way to load it as to spread the weight around. 5 star review!! Will be back for next project- amazing selection and staff. read more
