The guy who says he's the store manager (bald guy) is so rude! He has the worst attitude and is so unhelpful. We have been here twice and both times had horrible experiences with him. Today, an employee was trying to talk to him and he ignored her. This time, though, I spoke up and called him on it and told him he was rude and was rude last time. He was trying to tell me I couldn't return something I bought from another location but couldn't show me that policy in writing. He just rolled his eyes and walked away and told the employee "just do it because she's difficult". This in not managerial behavior. I will be going to FV or HB in the future. read more

I came to Floor & Decor on a whim with my girlfriend to window shop for a way to renovate our outdated bathroom. We weren't sure of what we were really looking for until we got some direction from an associate on the floor. Johnny was very knowledgeable and helped to give us a clear direction on what we didn't even know we wanted. It was also nice that floor & decor had so many options. On Wednesday I went to floor and decor in Carson since it's closer to my house. So me and my wife was there for over an hour looking at floors for our house and no one ever came to us and ask if we needed help. So I ask couple of people that I wanted to take 11 boxes of laminate their response was grab a cart and load them it's faster. So I ask how long will it take you to put in my truck with the palette they said bout 15 to 30 minutes. When I said ok then they said 45 to 1hr. So we got mad and left. So me and my wife decided to go to Downey and try it out. Once we were inside BRENT greet us then took care of me. All I got to say is that BRENT did an excellent job. I've spent weeks search high and low for the "just right" tile for my bathroom renovation. I was frustrated by search. I wanted to tile the down stairs of my house for some time now .A few people told me to go to state collage blvd where there is probably 100 stores. what a waste of time. I went to floor & decor today in downey and was amazed at how professional the employees are there. I got real lucky and had the pleasure of getting to work with nader ( his name could be spelled wrong ) if so I apologize. he walked me through the whole process. figured out how much quick set and grout I needed, was really knowledgeable when it came to all the products I needed.its nice to go somewhere and work with somebody like nadir . I ended up buying 850 square feet of tile . and picked up everything else I needed. there was no pressure, he was not trtying to sell me stuff I did not need. they do not work off commission so they are not sweating you there. because I had close to 5000 lbs of material I had to make 2 trips that where I ran into Miguel and Elliot . they went above and beyond helping me load everything. I tried to give them a 10 dollar tip for the help and he told me to keep it they were just doing their job. ( can you believe that ) so, for whoever reads this don't waste you time going to state collage blvd, lowes or home depot this is the place, oh yea one more thing , at state collage I found some tile made in china 1.59 sq foot this place had made in the usa for the same price it feels good buying a product made in the usa thank you floor and decor team . read more

My husband and I visited this store and we were both so impressed with the level of service we received. We had been on the freeway for an hour to get to this store and my husband was a bit grouchy. We were greeted by Clint and we told him we were looking around. The store is huge so we thought we'd just look around first. He told us where to look based on us telling him our bathroom was why we were looking. So we looked around in that area. In the meantime, another employee named Alfredo, came by to offer assistance. He let us know he was available if we needed him. And then we looked around a bit more and yet another employee named Jay came to help us. He gave us information on the flooring we eventually chose. He even gave my husband a tutorial on the installation to help make that part easier. So the treatment we received was so helpful and friendly, I chose to drive an hour again to purchase the tile for our shower. Clint and Jay were both there and they both welcomed me back. I felt so good. They see a lot of people and they remembered me. I highly recommend this store. They were helpful and made me feel like a friend. Also the products we purchased were priced great and good quality. They have a huge selection and everything you need to complete your project. Just go there. You will not be disappointed. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM SUE!!! My mother went by herself to look at tile for our home. She was helped by Sue and came back with a list of all the material and estimated cost for our project. My mother and I went back a week later. It Sunday and the store looked busy. We had no clue where to look for the items. We asked for help and showed the employee the items we needed. When Sue saw my mother she recognized her and stopped what she was doing to help us. My mother and I did not agree on our flooring tile. Sue made great suggestions on what to buy based on what both my mother and I liked. She made honest opinions on styles and decor. We have scoured Los Angeles for a good tile store with lots of selection and great prices. Come here first!!!!!The store itself gets 5 stars for selection, cleanliness, price and ease of shopping. However, we wish we could give them 10 stars because of the customer service. We made our final decision to buy 275 square ft of tile right at closing. Everyone on the staff helped us calculate, check out, haul, and load the tile. The entire staff was awesome and this store has hired knowledgable, friendly employees.
