So we're remodeling, and I went to Floor and Decor to finalize the search for my floor tile. I thought I knew what I wanted (and was just there to show my daughter, and maybe look at some bathroom tile), when Izabela asked if I needed any help. I told her I'd selected the floor tile and was just getting ideas for the bathroom. Very helpful, and friendly without being one of those uncomfortably pushy salespeople. My daughter and I kept wandering around, and finally went to purchase a sample of what I'd chosen. Izabela saw us at the checkout, came over to see what I'd told her about earlier, and then told me that really wasn't the best choice for a floor, as it was too rough. (I needed to hear that, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear right then.) To make a long story short, we all went back to the floor tile, found an even better, more beautiful (and smoother) one, and that tile became the design base for the whole downstairs. My appointment with her today was equally good - she knows her stuff and the shower we designed will be absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't have thought free design services would have been so good, but they were. It takes the right person to tell a customer that there's a better choice (in a nice way) and offer to help find it. I will usually go out of my way to avoid salespeople, but I'm rethinking that now. In the past years I've bought from Floor & Décor for small DIY tile projects but when I decided to tackle the flooring of the larger open areas of my home I knew I needed expert help. I made an appointment at Floor & Decor (West Oaks) with the Design Department and met Izabela. I was a bit skeptical because I admit I'm not easy to please when it comes to my home comfort and design, I can be indecisive but at the same time I know what I like and what I don't like. But I knew I couldn't pass on the free services and decided to be opened-minded to Izabela's ideas - And she did NOT disappoint! Once I explained to Izabela that I live in an open concept home, and that the new flooring would have to blend in with the upstairs, stair planks and banisters she worked with me to fit the pieces together. She looked over photos of my existing finished areas and though I didn't have images of any ideas I liked, Izabela was great at taking my vision and showing me the different tile & wood flooring products that met my needs then helped me select the ones that would look great together in the bigger picture. Izabela took from the vast selection that Floor & Décor had and somehow managed to come up with just the right combination of flooring for my home all while staying within my budget. I walked in this location and immediately I was greeted and asked what I needed help with. The young lady directed me to the section of the store that should have had the item I was looking for. As I was over there browsing a young man named Forture came up to me asking if I needing any assistance. I showed him a picture of what I looked up online and he showed me exactly where it was. I looked at it in person and decided that it wasn't as good in person as it was when I saw it online. He showed me a few different options and I ended up really loving one of his suggestions. The system said they had some in stock but when he went to check he was unable to locate any after very diligent research. He immediately offered to check other locations for me to see if they had enough in stock for the project I wanted to do. After calling a few stores he found a location that had what I needed and made them confirm before getting off the phone. He just made the experience so stress free and easy! I was able to pay for the order at his location and have my contractor go to the other store and pick it up for me. Fortune was persistent and determined and therefore went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and therefore saved my project!!! I am writing this review after several critical issues that was resolved by Mr. Kevin Bumbalough, Store Manager and Mr. Gabriel (Gabe). Since April 2023, I had three critical customer service and ordering issues that needed a manager's assistance. Therefore, I wanted to recognize Mr. Gabe's leadership, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills that was experienced by me at the Hampton, VA store. All three issues were taken to other team members within the store, but was not handled with urgency. I have gone to endless amount of places that carry flooring through out HOUSTON, as well as the greater Houston AREA. Including but not limited to; outlets, warehouses, restores, and liquidators. Without hesitation, F & D had the best quality. prices per sq ft, selection, easy financing, customer service NOT ONLY AT TIME OF SALE, I was just there two days ago with a question about what grout I used 4 years ago!!!!! Thinking most likely a wad of time, no it wasn't. I felt odd and asked anyway and am glad I did, they looked it up under 5 mins I had that answer and more!!! I did t use the design or layout options they also offer, but maybe next time. My personal favorite location so far is the FLOOR & DECOR Westheimer/HWY 6 location. I've been going to them and 45 near SPRING,TX since the end of 2009. Not EVER!!! Not even once, has the service not been impeccable. Excellent selection, quality, prices and customer service. SHOP AROUND... You can't come close to the overall experience you get at floor and decor!!!! Perhaps the only way to explain The negative tips would be that F&D is their competition??? So far my favorite F&D location is off of Westheimer HWY 6. I haven't had the pleasure of checking out the Sugarland store, but Look forward to doing so soon! read more

It was great shopping at this store, we been looking for flooring for our home and thanks to Christian who help us and went the the extra mile to help us we finally decided on our floor and thanks to him we made the purchase, why? Because the day before the purchase we spoke to a lady at this store I don't remember her name but she was a designer at the store and she had her kids with her and I think she was a manager and she said that the floor we were thinking of getting couldn't be discount anymore and she let us go to keep shopping around. But today 22 of April we stop by just to see if they had something else on clearance and after looking for a while Christian came and ask us to help, he even call the general manager to give us a better price on another wood that they had there in clearance,we were getting 10% off but the manager never call back to give us more discount, so it wasn't in our budget price anyway so we showed him the floor we showed the previous lady which I think her name was Izabel the lady with the kids, and he said let me see if I can give you the same 10% off on this clearance and he was able to so we ended buying it. My wife and I went to the location by west oak mall to just brows and we were surprised with the variety of selection they had for everything you need to remodel a house and at such a reasonable prices. My wife was planning on changing the old wall ceramic tiles in the kitchen are. We weren't sure what to get or what are the options so we asked a sales a staff member if there is someone can help us how to choose or give us ideas about designing what we looking for. We were introduced to an associate name Juana to help us. And to our luck she was a designer and seems like she knew a lot about remodeling and the different options we can choose from. Juana was really amazing, she went above and beyond to help us, showing us so many different options to choose from and we end up getting the tiles to have our project done. Juana made it easy for us and saved us time and money and we are grateful to her. We just wanted to acknowledge her outstanding customer service. Out kitchen walls looks beautiful now. I couldn't believe all the selection floor & decor have in stock inventory. Being like majority of people .. I wanted my room I was doing to look like a million dollars but not pay a million dollars. I appreciated be left to myself to look around with out the pressure. The service was defiantly a FIVE STAR .Jake serviced me and treated more than tipical employee would .. He went beyond his service with figuring my sq ft. , assisted me by carrying my choose of tile to the area to select my color. Informative with thin set .. About the product .. Helped me move it to front waited so he could put in my car. I didn't have to hunt some one down ... He made it an awesome experience. I not one to go out of my way to go a write up ... How ever with the FIVE STAR treatment. This is only the second time in my life I felt I need not only give a review .. I went to floor and decor in Tomball and had the most AMAZING experience!!!! My first visit I met Lisa, one of their designers, I explained about the horrible experience I had at another flooring store and she listened to me vent and then helped me find exactly what I wanted based on details I gave her. She put together a quote for me and I left extramoly calmed and happy. Unfortunately a few days later we were hit with a hurricane so I forgot to get things scheduled for measurement so when I remembered I went back and Sara helped me connect with the contractor same day and followed up with me to make sure they called to make my appointment. Once all said and done I went back to the store to pay and was blessed with help from all three design ladies helping me. Due to the amazing cost I was able to also get a backsplash, countertops, farmhouse sink and faucet all staying within and actually under my budget. After Home Depot and Lowe's both failed me terribly, one of my friends suggested I try Floor & Decor to redecorate my home, mainly the kitchen and restroom. There was so much variety in materials that they had to offer, it was a bit overwhelming for my mother and I actually but as I got to look around, one of the designers, Aisha helped us out. She suggested a few different looks for our home, one of them is currently installed in our home right now. She continuously ran back and forth on a busy Sunday to get our items and was helping others as well. She even explained all the details she was telling me to my mother in Hindi which was great. My cashier was also very friendly and inviting, Edward or Edwin if I remember correctly. We ended up getting all the materials that we needed in under $1500 in comparison to the $4500 we were spending at Home Depot. Great customer service in general. Love the store and will definitely stop by again soon and recommend it to others! read more

So me and my mom had been back and forth getting more materials. We were looking for flooring that was rustic, but with all natural material there is always variation. We understand this so we picked out the pieces that we wanted and that were not broken. We asked for help in this instance. The manager rudely informed us that we could not pick and choose the material that we wanted and needed. We needed well over a pallets worth of ceramic tiles.... we were not going to risk the time or money taking material that we did not want or that was broken as this was the third trip as a result of damaged material. I want to personally thank Mr. Roger for helping us out, as he saw the situation and understood the value of good customer service. He made getting the material we needed easy, efficient. I I was at your parkhollow store last night to purchase some more tile. I was greeted by Juana she was very helpful.i also spoke t a gentleman named mark who was also very helpful. What I would like to say about Juana is that she is so patient.she was supposed to get off work at five.well since you did not have enough tile she called the Katy store they kept us on hold for more than a half hour I think that is wrong and unprofessional. I mentioned to her that she was suppose d to get off she said don't worry. Finally after calling them back twice they confirmed that they have enough of what I needed. I paid for it and picked it up this morning. Juana and mark both deserve five stars.for all there help and patience. My spouse and I came in the store yesterday afternoon with a list of materials my tile contractor needed to re-tile the kitchen in my rental house. Johnny Nguyen in the tile department calculated how many boxes of tile we would need for the project. I then asked Johnny for help with the other materials, even though I might choose to buy them somewhere else. He said Floor & Decor had a price match guarantee. He then proceeded to walk me through my list: quickset, grout, and quarter rounds. He was knowledgeable and helpful, for example explaining that the fastest setting quickset is more expensive than slower setting quickset. He was patient with my many questions. The tile guy also suggested a stain-resistant grout additive. I agreed because I want this flooring project to stand up to whatever a tenant throws at it. We recently started remodeling our house and needed to pick up some tiles. When we got to Floor and Decor at West Oaks, Isabella walked over to render assistance. As a designer, we noticed the passion she had for her work as she took her time to explain and offer professional advice on each of our selections. We have since gone back to that same location 5 times and each time, she shows the same amount of enthusiasm and professionalism. My husband & I were here on Sunday (August 7th). We had a great experience! We went in just to look at what we wanted for our Master bath remodel and were a little overwhelmed once we started walking around because the store is large and has such a large variety! So we decided to ask the design desk if we needed to set up an appointment & they were actually able to help us right there. Sally & Kendra were the two ladies who helped us and WOW they were extremely friendly & helpful!! They helped us create the look we were going for & show us options that we wouldn't have ever thought about or considered! We walked in a little overwhelmed and walked out relieved & confident with the look of our new Master Bath. Receiving excellent service is rare these days. It was refreshing to have Jay Nguyen assist me in selecting tiles for an outdoor project at my home. He was knowledgeable and knew the entire inventory of tile so was able to easily find the selections I was looking for. He also took the opportunity to educate me on the quantity of grout that would be needed for my project. Because they were advertising a 25 pound bag for a bargain price I assumed I needed 25 pounds. But Jay quickly assured me I didn't and took me to the various packages of grout and showed me how to read the information on the package. For the number of tiles I purchased I only needed 10 pounds of grout. Jay helped to save me money, as the remaining 15 pounds would've gone to waist if I purchased based on the advertisement. My husband and I are remodeling our home and our contracter recommended us to go to Floor & Decor. First step in the store and wow it's a pretty big store there was so much going on and we didn't know where to start. That's when a designer Sally Tran came up and greeted us. She asked us what we were working on and what we liked and don't liked. She showed us around the store, very knowledgable, she directed us to what we needed for a kid friendly environment, she ran around checking for products that was in-stock and she was very patient and quick. Also prices were incredibly low here compare to Home Depot! Ms. Sally showed us some great tile selections and designs for the bathrooms her ideas were magnificent. I found an online review for this company stating that they had a lot of selection but you were on your own if you needed help. I thought I didn't need help so I was not worried. There was so much to look at I realized I DID need help. That online review was so very wrong because the service I received was spectacular! Truly great customer service from beginning to end and they helped me put it in my car too! Joerg Felsch listened to what I needed and shopped with me until I got everything I needed the whole time including grout sealant additive. Excellent customer service is so rare these days so I ALWAYS make a point to make a statement when compliments should be given for that service. A few weeks ago, I went into Floor & Decor to pick out tile for a guest bathroom remodel. It was my lucky day, as Izabela Wnek was available to help me with choices. I explained what I was looking for and she gave me some excellent advice. That day, I left with some samples and returned a week later to make my final selection. We went over every detail carefully, especially when picking out the grout color. She narrowed down the choices to three and we examined them one by one in order to make the best choice. One day, I called to ask her a question and in spite of the fact that she wasn't at work that day, she told me exactly what I needed to know. My only regret at this point, is that I don't have another bathroom to re-do so that I can work with her again.
