After spending several thousand dollars, purchasing 5 fixtures, one arrived damaged. The chandelier for our study ($1258.20) had a nub that was broken off the connecting piece. It was a floor model, as ordering would have taken several weeks/months. We hired an electrician to install our fixtures (Elaine's couldn't offer install on our high ceiling fans). Blake offered a reorder but that would have cost us more $ for the electrician to come out multiple times. I suggested our electrician could solder the piece back on or I could but I'd need to buy would need to buy a solder kit. I emailed and asked Blake if Elaine's would offer us a STORE CREDIT of $100-200 for our trouble and to mitigate some of our extra expense due to the chandelier arriving damaged. Blake responded that I could have 10% off a future purchase. I do not recommend Elaine's. The chandelier arrived damaged. We had to incur the costs of having it fixed. When I offered a very reasonable customer service solution, it was denied. The items can be found at other establishments, some for less expensive. This was a disappointing experience, especially based on how many fixtures we purchased. read more

Josh was great at helping me get a massive light fixture from his showroom in Katy, Tx to Winter Park, Colorado. He was helpful in decorative art as well for Colorado. It is a cool lighting store with cutting edge fixtures plus access to a whole world of fixtures. They are great at customer service and will be a "go to" source for my design business. read more

5 star customer service and selection, loved the separate room with only ceiling fans and lighting. Numerous sconces, excellent choices for a great room and since sconces are the rage, think they could find you any kind from the 50's elegant to the 21st century metal halogen look. Kids fans, super mini retro fans, ceiling fans for the oh so picky like myself. A generous portion of Arthur Court items for gifts. numerous candle sticks, candles, no HGTV looks here. Smattering of table lamps, some sink fixtures, faucets, towel bars. Plethora of items to drool over. FYI If you are over 5 feet tall, those big chandeliers will be mighty painful upside your head, eyeballs, nose, please leave toddlers at home, not safe for meandering through, not stroller friendly. Superior to Home Depot, Wayfair, Amazon. No comparison to Bevelo in NOLA so if you want that type of copper lighting they are the ticket. Could easily drop 10k in here and make a statement with the products. No handmade Venice pieces did I spy. Ran out of time but will be back to purchase lighting for several rooms in our house that have no wow. Pricey but worth it, website good and they have installers too. read more

We have completed our lighting and hardware package for our new house. The team, Josh and Brent, are amazing. We had a few ideas in mind of what we liked when we walked in. After some brief conversation of getting to know us we took off on a wonderful adventure of selecting our package. After seeing many different options we have completed our package for our new home. Very disappointed in service. We walked into the store mid-afternoon. We were the only ones in the store besides the two salespeople. One said hi. We responded. No other conversation was initiated by them. We walked around the store. Neither salesperson got out of their seat to find out if we needed assistance in finding the lighting that we were shopping for. Pulled up Saturday after hurricane around 2pm. Called before going, no answer. When we pulled up, lights were on, no "closed" sign on the door. Pulled on the door, but locked, man and woman in store just looked up at us and kept on going about whatever they were doing. They could have just said sorry guys, were not open. I took a $800 Ralph Lauren crystal lamp in to have the voltage converted and it took seven months to have this service completed and they damaged my lamp. One of their employees dropped the lamp and placed a large chip in the front of the crystal lamp. They admitted to doing the damage and tried to have it fixed (which didn't work). They didn't charge me for the service fee to convert voltage and said that this should be enough. They refused to provide me with a new lamp similar to mine which would've been fair (i even said i'd pay the service fee if they would replace the lamp). I walked in with a lamp in perfect condition and they thought it was fair that i walked out with a damaged lamp. I will never do business here again!! I found Brent most unprofessional, as well as Josh, the store manager. read more

My husband and I stopped in at Elaines lighting looking for help to repair a chandelier. Alan directed us to a sight on the internet where we all found all parts needed.
