Today was the first day of my entirety of having hobby lobby as a consumer store while I was treated the way I was treated by the management name, April. I made a purchase for several items and once I made the final purchase, I looked in my receipt and it was $442 now the reason why we shop at Hobby lobby is because of the deals and a discount that they have in this godfather service and owner. But this day in particular, the manager April is at the front and she seem like she doesn't wanna help us or she has some type of agitation for our presence inside of her store. Once we came back inside of the store to ask for customer service to have a check for all items that were purchased 'Charlene' helped us at the front desk, then while helping us she was interrupted by this manager(APRIL). after being interrupted with a question on what was transpiring in line. When she realized what the issue was were once told immediately... with no time to try to have a disillusion or a proper resolve to the situation that she would have to run the cameras back ‍to check the purchases. The. it wouldn't be able to be done until tomorrow morning the following day. Now mind you, I've been doing business with Hobby lobby for the last six months and spent over $5000.... all of my receipts are attached in this email I'm sending to corporate. So I just wanna make a formal complaint on how this situation was handled and the service that was given to me at Hobby lobby by the manager (APRIL). I truly appreciate your business and I truly appreciate your services, but today was a total fail, and I am totally saddened by walking away from hobby lobby with all reserves for better services, from another company that treats their clients and consumers with more respect.. The customer service is always excellent, and you can always find something, especially if you're in need of a gift for someone. Prices range from high-end items to fun finds below $20. I love the Mudpie, Brighton, Royal Standard, and fun Louisianan items (my NOLA-raised self definitely appreciates them). I bought a Louisiana-themed tea towel, and an associate offered to hold it at the register until checkout. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she was so incredibly helpful. The reason I'm removing a star is because when we first entered the store, despite being greeted, we were heavily watched and followed while we browsed Tyler Candle and Mackenzie Childs products. I own several items from both companies, yet when we got in the car, my mom remarked how uncomfortable it made her feel. I absolutely agree. I realize they've probably had theft issues, especially with the close proximity to the freeway, and I know Mackenzie Childs products are a pretty penny (as well as fragile), but glaring at customers and staying within a few feet of them the entire time they're browsing products is a bit overboard. Fortunately, as we continued through the store, the micromanagement died way down. I would have been more at ease if I could have freely shopped the entry area, and my mom probably would have bought something. The customer service and vast selection are 1000% worth the four stars.

I understand if maybe this place has a lot of shoplifters but I felt as if this was too much. Again, great products and I love the unique items this place has but if it wasn't for being followed to the point even my boyfriend was uncomfortable I would come back again. I almost walked out honestly without buying anything, and I kept feeling like maybe this was because of my skin color or because of our age group that we are in. Do better please.. A lady and a man at the counter still not saying anything to me. I finally said "Excuse me do you know if anyone if any of the workers are around" She said "What do you need?" I inquired about the price of the bench she told me &85 for the used bench. I didn't purchase. I found the exact same item at Academy and I'm waiting on the delivery now for $5 less. I think they need to come down or at least cross reference prices and also they at least need to do light cleaning on the items they are trying to sell.

Door signage posted a 2:00 closing, but internet shows a 4:00 closing time. Nor, does their line have a voice mail. Very unhappy will never purchase another item without looking at it.
