In my previous review I praised Floor and Decor along with my new friend Susana Levy. I promised to share the final product with her because I honestly could not have done this without her! The renovations are complete, the end result surpassed any ideas I could have imagined! I was once told that renovations are not for the weak, that statement could not be more true! After watching our home be torn apart, sleeping on our mattress on the floor, using one bathroom, not knowing where anything was, and enduring so much dirt and chaos I can finally say it was all worth it!!! Along the way, questions and doubts arose and once again Susana Levy was my calming, great taste Angel!! Thank you Floor and Decor for making a dream reality on a reasonable budget! As for Susana, thank you for making dreams come true, walking me through everything, calming my doubts, checking in, and plainly put, being a terrific person and friend. It's all thanks to Cheryl Singh! We had originally visited the Doral location prior and their customer service was absolutely horrible. We were headed to another tile company when a friend told us to give the Kendall location a try. Thank God we did because Cheryl was MAGNIFICENT! We opened a commercial account and proceeded with our first purchase. If it had not been for her we would not be a patron of Floor & Decor because nobody in that store had any customer service skills either, sorry but it must be said. It's also important to point out that she was very sensitive to my ADA needs. We will definitely continue to purchase from Floor & Decor as long as Cheryl is handling our account. Does not live up to the company's WRITTEN return policies. Everyone there claims to be a manager but no one cares about their customers nor F&D policies. Service is good when you are buying but when there is a problem or when you need to return... not so good! Oh and if you say a curse word, their "manager" will claim that you cursed AT them (I used in the context that the policy is BS). and immediately used that as an opportunity to dismiss you. The receipt says "items can be returned at ANY F&D locations." Nothing else! No other exceptions, disclaimers, etc. The Kendall store refused to take back the tiles we bought from the Doral store, saying that they don't have any in their store so we would have to take it to the Doral store. When we took it to the Doral store, the CS rep at Doral says that Kendal store could have easily accommodated the return. read more

They nice have example displays to give you better visual ideas of what some of the pieces may look like. Employees are there to help with the amount of material you'll need so you don't have to be a professional contractor to purchase. They will always confirm stock availability as well and help you find it if stock is available at another store. Return any material within 90 days. The place is clean and well organized. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Delivery options available on material. read more

Came in with my wife to purchase some flooring. Ended up purchasing the tile and came in to pick it up at the time that we were told. The tile was at the door way on a pallet. Went in to the counter was greeted by a gentleman. Told him I was there to pickup an order and he asked me for my id I gave it to him. He checked it out and turned around and left. I stepped outside and waited for it to be brought out to me. Not knowing that he just went back to hanging out behind the counter while there was an elderly couple loading tile in their vehicle next to us. Waited 10 minutes walked in and told him what was going on he shrugged and reluctantly went and got a pallet jack to lift the small pallet and drop it off between our vehicles. I asked him if he could pick it up to the level of the rear tailgate. He said he could not. He said he would have to get someone with a flag and I told him ok. He turned and walked away. Me and my wife ended up loading the tile in our vehicles ourselves.PROBABLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE RECVED FROM ONE OF THESE STORES!! I ENDED UP POCKETING THE $20 DOLLARS I HAD IN MY HAND FOR HIS TIP. THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO TALK TO THESE EMPLOYEES IN THERE DELIVERY AREA. I am at the beginning of a major remodel! I went to Floor and Decor (Kendall) to return some of the many samples I've purchased recently. Cheryl S. processed the transaction and was very professional and pleasant. When I mentioned I was going to look for additional tile options, she offered to accompany me. I am so glad she did! She listened to "my vision" and proceeded to help me assemble a complete bathroom tile package- including the grout color. Her patience and guidance was refreshing and very helpful. I really like Floor & Decor - Kendall Store. They have a great selection to choose from and very friendly staff. I bought NuCore 6.5mm Vinyl Plank, it looks very nice, but you have to be very carful with it, next time I will buy tile. I was moving furniture and the planks scratched and tore. I called the Floor and Decor complaint department and they told me that vinyl floor would not be covered because furniture moving pads were not used. I was very upset about the complaint department's response, but the store manager quickly took action and called me to reach a solution. Rick assessed the situation and helped with with the reinstallation of the damaged vinyl plank. I am extremely grateful of how I was taken care of by Rick at the Kendall Store. Thanks! read more

I went to this store to purchase flooring for my new home. The lady that helped me with the process was super nice, knowledgeable, and helped me through the whole buying process. The nightmare started when I was to get the items that were not in stock. I was told by the selling person, Maria, that the items would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. It is now 5 weeks later and I still do not have the pieces I paid for. When I call the store no one can give you a clear answer to when the items will be delivered and continuously tell you that they will get your information and call you back with an answer. The associates blame everything on the Command Center and when speaking to the Command Center they don't even have their story straight. While they have an awesome selection and decent prices the headache and disorganization that they have is not worth the savings. read more

I am not the type of person to write a review but unfortunately this one was warranted. Great experience buying the tile and the in store help JUST the day I bought the product. Delivery that was PAID for? A nightmare. I signed off on a delivery for "threshold" which meant they would leave the product in the garage and call at least 30 minutes before delivery. The driver called when he was already at the property (it is vacant because we are redoing the whole floor with the new tile). We asked the driver to wait 15 minutes for us to arrive, driver declined and gave us no choice but to leave the product on our driveway (4 full pallets - pictures attached). Called the store and was on hold over 30 minutes so I had to drive in (Saturday, September 10th @12:30PM). Was met by a manager after waiting another 20 minutes. They told me they could not help in the situation because it was a "third party delivery service" - so who did I pay? I paid floor and decor? So who is responsible? Apparently, not floor & decor. They refused to help, and just gave me the option to cancel the order since they could not meet the agreed terms of delivery. Their reasoning? "Driver discretion". In other words: if the driver finds it convenient to take it into the garage; if not, sucks. The only help from the manager: either figure it out OR cancel the order AND pay ANOTHER delivery fee to take the product back. Disgraceful to pay for a service of over $200 and an order of over $4,000 for them to treat a customer this way. I had to go buy tarps to cover the product because they also threatened that if the product was damaged by the time they picked it up (after cancelling), I was liable for it (pictures attached). Even though they left FOUR pallets laying on my driveway. Let me tell you, we TRIED to figure it out, even rented a pallet jack. It was too much weight and we couldn't even move it 1 inch. It was a job for a fork lift - the delivery service we paid for. I have always bought my products at floor & decor Hialeah and this is the first time I gave Kendall a chance since the new opening. Never again, and never will I be dealing with floor and decor again. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Zero customer service, zero professionalism from the management team, and zero help for resolution. It was a "you're on your own and if you don't want it we'll pick it up on Monday". Moral of the story: save yourself the headache, pay someone who is actually going to abide to their delivery terms, it's a third party anyway. read more

I had a chance to go to the store in Kendall yesterday because I'm remodeling a bathroom. I was pleasantly impressed with how huge it is, the variety is immense so there is no possibility of saying that what I wanted was not found; a very kind young man, Lázaro, helped me to position myself well in the area of ​​the store that was for me but finally don't buy anything. Today I returned with my daughter and it was difficult to choose because of the huge variety. I have to say that the manager was very attentive when he called and seems concerned about the situation. Ive been a couple more times to this same location and the employees seem also more helpful. Poor Customer Service Policies. I should have known I was in trouble when they made me purchase samples (understood) but refused to take them back 2 days later without the receipt even though they still had the tile in stock. Before purchasing thousands of dollars in tile I advised staff it would take time to start the project because association had to approve. Was told it would not be a problem. It caused ALL kinds of problems. They only hold your tile for 2 weeks whereas many smaller tile stores will hold it indefinitely so I had to purchase tile and take home long before I needed it. By the time the association approved and project was finished was six months which violated a 90 day return policy the sales lady didn't mention(note all registers are posted with the 90 day policy but I didn't complete purchase at the register.) After 90 days I was forced to take hundreds of dollars in store credit to return leftover tile. Would recommend you use a smaller dealer unless you only find what you need here. read more

I was at Floor & Decor in Kendall Lakes today with my elderly mom to look at ideas for fixing her bathroom to accommodate her needs better. At first the place was so large and intimating but Bernard came and helped us out. Bernard was so helpful and patient with us that we planned the entire bathroom from the walls, shower wall tile, floor tile, grout and more! I went from being overwhelmed and almost leaving to working out our bathroom needs. I can't thank Bernard enough for all his assistance and kindness. Don't buy from these people, they will sell you damaged good and then will state that they don't accept damaged goods for credit. About 12% of my flooring came damaged, one can see the marks of the packing straps cutting into the damaged boxes - obviously this people don't know that the strapping has to be used w heavy cardboard protectors. The service of floor and decor has been absolutely terrible. I bought some backsplash at this store and they didn't have enough, when I asked an employee if there was more in the back he said no. he suggested to me to buy what they have at this store and then go to the Doral store to get the rest that I needed. This is exactly what I did. When they installed the backsplash it was THREE different colors! The backsplash was gray, white, and off white. After spending so much money on this marble backsplash I was extremely disappointed. I called the store and explained what happened the manager told me I had to send in pictures and my receipt to submit a claim to the claims department. The claims department (Ebony Jackson a claims and escalation coordinator) then emailed me to fill out a claims form on Feb. 3rd 2020 I sent it back Feb 4th. 2020 to the same e-mail. On Feb 14th I sent a follow up email because I had not received a response. This is when Amanda Cochran (Claims and Escalation Specialist) replies saying they received my email and to allow 24-48 hours for them to contact me about the next steps. On Feb 20 I received a call from Amanda Cochran, but I was at work and was not able to answer. I was able to call back around 12pm and she did not answer, I left a voicemail. February 24th I have still not received another call or e-mail, I e-mail Amanda letting her know I have called several times and I have not received any response to please call back, I even gave her an alternative number in case I was working and didn't answer. On Feb 28th she emails me saying she gave me a call (which I did not receive) and tells me she will be in the office until 5pm. When I saw the email I immediately called her back and still received no reply. I e-mailed her and let her know I called her this was at 12:03pm on the same day of her suppose call. I have been calling ever since. I went to the Kendall store to get some answers, the person who helped me at the store was as helpful as he could be. He connected me to a customer service help in which they were able to contact Amanda and she said she was leaving her office at 11AM. Let me just emphasize that she was leaving at 11AM!!! I had also called her right before this so I was extremely upset that she was able to answer a call from another office but not one of a customer that has been trying to reach her for almost a month. The person then said that they let her know that I needed to speak to her and she would call me. It has been 2 days since that happened. At this point I'm not sure who could help me or how to reach anyone in Amanda's department because there is not a number to that office that I have been able to get. My claim started February 3rd and today is March 4th. My kitchen project has been put completely on hold because Im not allowed to remove the backsplash. UPDATE- After writing this review Rick Orasi the chief executive merchant of store 192 reached out to me and although I was at work he left me a voicemail and then called once again all with two hours. When I reached out he was very professional and expressed he wanted to help. We agreed to meet on Friday the 6th. When we met at the store he had a designer come and help me pick out a new backsplash and said the new material would be completely free! I was so happy. I explained I needed some time to pick something new out. He allowed me to take free samples home and come back when I was ready. Rick checked up with me on the weekend. Once I picked the new backsplash I let him know and we agreed to meet again today (Monday the 9th) when I arrived he had everything ready for me to be picked up and loaded it into my car. Please do not buy any tiles from this place !!!! Their prices are deceiving and they lie to the customers !! Example you see a price 1.97 on a 12x 24 tile. You buy it and they charge you double the price. They say that price of 1.97 is for a 12x12 not a 12x24 well the sign clearly says 12x24. We Remodeled our home 3 years ago, and now put an addition to home with a bathroom. We werent too thrilled to have to go back to chosing tiles, designs, colors , ect. We must of gone to Floor & Decor quite a few times and this last time I give ALL THANKS TO KEITH (I think he may have been the manager) AND TES. What a blessing they were, patient, friendly, attentive, all around amazing. Highly recommend if you go there, ask for them! I visited this store on 12/19/2021 and encountered an extremely rude employee by the name of Ryan. I requested his help and he all but said no in his attitude. By the time I asked for help I had already loaded over 22 boxes of tile myself but could not reach the last 5 I needed. He even made an exasperated sigh when I asked him to hand me another box since the one he dropped had tile shards coming out. Three stars for the large selection of laminate flooring they offer. Zero stars for customer service. We meandered around the laminate flooring area with no offer of assistance. We had the names of 2 flooring pieces from their website and asked an associate for help finding it. He asked us if we had sku numbers. We said no and he said, "Unless you have sku numbers, I can't help you." And he walked away. I don't know if their associates don't know the product sold there or don't care. We are small potatoes, only looking for 900 sq. ft. of flooring, we are guessing they are accustomed to working with flippers or contractors. I spoke the gentleman working the cash register and asked him to relay all of this to the manager. To his credit, he offered to look up the sku numbers for us but he had a line of people waiting to check out. He was the only register open. He shouldn't have to do it all, and by that time we were frustrated and decided we will work with another flooring store that was incredibly helpful. We liked what we saw online at Floor & Decor, but going there was not a good experience. Have your sku numbers before you go or they can't help you. read more

We went in to select tiles for a remodel and the selection was so vast we had difficulty choosing. But their designer staff is there to help. Daniela was great with pointers and we were able to complete our selection. Now, when it comes to their staff for pick up, the service was incredible. I came to this store on its "Grand Opening Day" and they already had stocking problems. I liked one of the display showers at the store, made an estimate order with an employee, saved my project and when I came back another day to order the tiles and nobody was able to find my saved project. Then, the tiles I liked from the display weren't available. I ended up placing the order online to pick them up at the Doral store which showed on their system that there was enough in inventory. On the next day, I called Doral to confirm the pick up time and they also told me that didn't have the tile in stock. This situation leads me to think that their inventory is all messed up, what they have in their store inventory and online inventory is not the actual thing. Not to mention that there are no knowledgeable employees at the store. On several occasions we asked employees for advice and nobody seemed to know anything about tiles nor materials. This is a specialty store, a showroom store, if I come here to buy tiles and to design a project I'm expecting to find professionals that would guide me and advice me on the best materials and design. Bottom line is that I ended up at Home Depot. As usual they always solve all my home project problems. We are very disappointed at Floor & Decor and we will not count on them for any future home projects. If you visit the store and like a display don't put your hopes too high in buying those tiles you see because most likely they will tell you "sorry, we sold out". read more
