I've been going back and forth coming into this place but today was definitely an employee named KIMBERLY gave me her 100% best customer service!!! I want you to know this tiny lady was determined to give great service. The task at hand was getting me two wall tile almost as tall as her. When i asked for help she quickly came and not hesitated to help me. I told her I'm taller than you and i can't put the box out to get tile. I told her it's too heavy and we couldn't. She went ahead and grabbed a ladder and locked in to open the box. She used her took and her tiny finger this box open and was trying hard to grab it out. I convinced her we need muscle. He came along and took the box out and she had and gave me two tile. This guys left quickly and didn't even bother to return the heavy box but it did not stop her. She placed it back one by one. Next up was grout. She pointed to the direction and i went ahead. As i was leaving i needed 3 different color. When the cashier asked for help,3 people replied and the one who helped me again was KIM. Sorry KIM. i didn't mention your name earlier so you could have been the one that was noted that helped me. I have to say that my experience buying title for my back splash and fireplace was great. I even purchased a new vanity since my painters ruined the one I had. Even to do returns that was a easy process and the staff are always so pleasant. However I recently had a scheduled appointment for a tile guy to come out and give me a estimate for my fireplace. Mario came out and said he would call or return back since I also had some concerns on my flooring installed by another contractor.? So I never heard back from Mario so I called the store and representative said someone would be calling me back. As of today no call back or no emails!!!! Very disappointed!!!! read more

I placed my first order at Floor and Decor this week, and I visited the Rancho Cucamonga location twice. I love the customer service so much, from the cashiers to the management staff. Everyone that I encountered was so friendly and helpful. Terry helped me on my first visit, and even though he had a line of people waiting for him he still just the time to walk me where I needed to go and help me pick out a tile. On my next visit I was lucky to encounter Dave, he also personally help me pick out a few supplies and loaded up my truck. When you are in the middle of a project helpful stuff at the local home improvement store is GOLD. I also had to visit both Lowe's and Home Depot, and was disappointed that Home Depot's cutting machine was down, and I could not return some thing at Lowe's because I only have my passport as identification right now. Picked up the rest of flooring I bought last week. Very busy in loading area, waited probably 20 minutes to get loaded. Of all the guys I watched loading out there, Josh the hardest working guy I ever saw. He brought out my flooring to my vehicle with a pallet jack to load for me as the 2 trucks in the bays taking FOREVER!! My parents were told when they bought their flooring, that they would be able to take the extra unopened boxes back. They have 1 extra unopened box at $319. The store refused to return the box and the manager was rude. He gave them a complaint phone number and sent them packing. They had spent $2,411 on flooring there and that is the way they are treated? No store credit, just lots of attitude. Funny thing is my dad is a contractor and will spread the word not to shop there. read more

I recommend this business for finding all your flooring and bathroom needs. What I find so great about this business is the Design Manager Nelson Dupra. Nelson is amazing and he knows his stuff when it comes to interior design. My husband and I spent 2 1/2 weeks going from flooring store to flooring store, cabinet stores, bathroom remodeling centers etc. By the time we made it to Floor and Decor I was so frustrated and I still did not have any selections that I felt confident in. While visiting Floor and Decor, Nelson ask if we needed any help and the assistance he gave us was a Game Changer! After he finished I had flooring for the entire house and bathroom materials selected complete with grout selections, base boards, etc. He took the time to walk us through the store to review all our materials and to show us other complimentary materials for the spaces being renovated. He patiently answered all my questions intelligently and he had such enthusiasm when dealing with us that I could tell he loved what he does ... honestly I don't even think this review is doing him justice - you have to go there and experience his consulting for yourself. He put together a product spec sheet complete with the bar codes so I didn't have to try to write it all down . I was able to take the spec sheet and give it to my contractor so he would know exactly what I wanted and the associated cost. I decided to return to get my shower door, vanity, and mirrors there as well. He is the sole reason that I had a excellent shopping experience. Nelson is creative and just plain wonderful. Great prices, a lot of options, and even better customer service. I started to load my cart with the vinyl flooring I was going with, Mohammad saw me, and refused to let me load the cart on my own. He loaded the remaining boxes of flooring for me, took me to the under lament, and picked out the matching stair noses. He even pushed my cart throughout the store, and rang up the items up for my on his smart phone, so all the cashier needed was my name and was good to go. It was like having a personal shopper. He was also extremely knowledge and answered all of my questions. I have been driving to the Norco location for a few years now. I was overjoyed when I saw we we're getting one local. I took a trip to this location Saturday. Boy ol' boy was it beautiful! It is a diyer's or professionals playground. There was thousands of options to choose from. It's very organized and clean. I sent about an hour just looking around. I found a lot of options for most of my future projects. I will definitely be back, maybe this weekend if time permits. Ps. I don't remember interacting with any employees. I went to Floor and Decor in Rancho twice this week and everyone there was so helpful. On my first visit (7/12) Dave helped me out. I wasn't sure how many sq ft of tiles I needed for my kitchen backsplash. By showing him a picture of my kitchen, he was able to give me the sq ft I needed. I later got a hold of my contractor who confirmed the amount needed was correct. WOW, Dave you are good! Dave also helped me with my kitchen floor tiles. Which I ordered online the next morning for store pickup. Two days after ordering online and not getting a confirmation text I started calling but no answer. So I went back to the store (7/15) and that's when I found out their phone were down. I met Bobby and Terry at the service desk. Within seconds of meeting them, we were all laughing. I questioned them regarding my order and was told that when I placed my order, someone else also placed an order right before me. So they didn't have enough tiles to fulfill my order but shipment will arrive on Sunday. I'm so glad I didn't get a confirmation text. Even though I liked the tile, it gave me time to think about how it would look in my new kitchen. I later met with Nelson who helped me find tiles that would look better in my kitchen. We took the tiles and placed it next to the vinyl floors that I was getting and it flowed together nicely. Thank you Nelson for being so patient and spending over an hour with me. I was helping my parents pick out bathroom tile and back splash, Thelma grabbed a tile from behind the sample and took it over to the grout aisle. Thelma and my step mom picked out the grout however, I noticed the that was in the basket was the wrong tile so I told her that. She got pissed off and started slamming the boxes of tiles complaining the tiles we wanted were in the wrong spot! Not our fault!! Then she took my parents back to the grout aisle to choose a new color for the correct tile. When she brought the samples she took one out and placed it on the tile. Then I told her the grout sample she took out was the wrong color. She said, in a snotty tone I'm picking a new grout color for the new tile. Then told her I'll pick it out because I'm the one who originally designed the bathroom and I'm the one who choose all the colors. If looks could kill I would be 6 feet underground! Who the hell tells a designer what they should choose? So I said I'm done and walked away thinking I will NEVER buy anything from that store!!!!! Now Eddie who I think is a store manager came up to me, my dad, and husband offering cold waters! He helped us load all the materials into my parents truck. My husband noticed when he picked up the box with the new sink they purchased was in 7 pieces. Thelma loaded the sink into my parents cart how did she not realize there were broken pieces? She also didn't offer to help them load all the materials into their truck, Eddie did that! He was awesome and restored my faith in the store!!! Eddie 100 stars **************.
