2 stars because the girl who pointed out to me a couple remnants was very sweet, nice and polite. A very strange policy they have is you have to deposit $100 for them to SHOW you a slab remnant. One was easier to see but was very dirty from being outside so couldn't be inspected for damages. The other was sandwiched in between multiple other slabs so you could only see the top 5 inches or so of a 5'x 4' slab. But they wouldn't move it out to see unless you guaranteed to buy one of them (which you couldn't see) with a $100 deposit. So to see the slab, it will cost you $100. If there is damage or the colors don't match your tile (which I had in hand to match), you're out $100? For checking? I've been to numerous stone places throughout the inland empire and in OC and have never come across this policy. Interesting indeed. read more

Terrible experience . We were looking for quartz counter for our island . We spoke to Rosa and she double the price on a quartz that was on special. We told her we didn't need the base wood because we had it already and she quoted us with it anyway. What they didn't know is that my husband is great at math and asked them where they for those numbers? He explained it how he got his numbers and Rosa said . Oh I see. We asked to speak to a manager and she never returned to speak to us. Me and my husband had to walk to their counter and asked what was taking long . Staff was rude from the minute we walked in and it almost seemed they didn't want us interupting their personal conversations. Strange, because we thought they were in business to make money? But, they lost around $15,000 in business from us, but our contractors were also not impressed and they will never go there again. They also informed their colleague who referred us all to this place of the experience and he too will no longer bring business there. So, this business has already lost a lot of money! We have gone with another business who, CONCEPT, actually provided friendly and helpful assistance, drew up plans in front of us, walked us through all the steps, and will do the entire job and more for less than the obscenely overpriced pre-tax quote we got from this business. read more

I really wouldn't recommend getting countertops from this store. I originally I liked the owners and they had a lot of options for reasonable prices. They seemed knowledgeable and helpful. We went with a beautiful quartzite. But I did not think the installers did a good job. They could not understand my questions and they did not call when the work was completed for me to inspect. I had to fight tooth and nail for them to fix one issue but I found two other major issues they tried to cover up with glue that are very noticeable. See pictures. They stopped returning calls and emails. I recommend not paying in full until the work is done to avoid what happened to us. This is not okay considering the price tag of the stone. Please everyone make sure you guys know your numbers before buying anything from them. They will tell you one price however in their computers, they will over charge you. We were about to make a purchase however the numbers didn't make any sense to us. The numbers were off, when we pinpoint the difference then according to them their computer is giving wrong numbers. This was the only place where we got straight answers on costs and a completion date. we went with them and we were not disappointed. After such and ordeal with our insurance after a flood, I consider Zabi and his family OUR family. October of '17 we had a pipe burst in our kitchen that forced us to take the kitchen down to the studs including the floors. I had originally gone with a contractor who did not have the financial security to complete our job in conjunction with getting the reoccurring checks from our insurance. Months went by with no real work completed by our first contractor. I stumbled across Granite and Cabinet Depot while looking for tile across the way at Buddy's. I walked in and was immediately greeted at the door but left alone long enough to browse the selection. A sales associate drew up a rough design based on photos in my phone. She was pretty spot on with the measurements when Zabi came out for our physical estimate. After hearing we had already been without a kitchen for months, he made a few concessions to help us get our project going. I won't go into deep detail, but just know he showed a level of compassion and trust that is rarely shown by such a large business. Fast Foward: We picked out everything needed to build a new kitchen from scratch. Octavio ( I love Octavio) was at our home days, nights, and weekends tearing down and rebuilding our kitchen. He redid the plumbing, installed the drywall, and installed new outlets just to list a few. I've never seen anyone work harder than Octavio. In the end, our kitchen was PERFECT. I have not one complaint about the timeframe, cost, or quality. I'm currently saving to upgrade our master bathroom and could not imagine going anywhere else. read more

I have used granite Cabinet Depot twice for two apartments, and in the last three years they take pictures before and after they can do the demolition however, I prefer (DIY)for me. Did you I choose the sizes they do computerized program so that i know what i am getting and you know what it's going to look like. I was able to choose from a wide variety of door handles. my kitchen is a brand new kitchen . My tenants love their kitchens .I have had no complaints for two years from my tenants who are living in my apartments.. this December 2023 they installed a second kitchen in a second apartment and I am very happy with it as well. read more

Beware! They installed mismatched countertops in my kitchen! These people are untrustworthy and deceitful and will try to take advantage of you if you don't keep your eyes wide open! They are incompetent and unethical. People like this shouldn't be in business! Read all the reviews they are absolutely true! I chose to close my eyes on the bad reviews because my sister had her kitchen cabinets done by them and had one small issue, they ripped her off of one thing she paid for, but her kitchen looked good so I decided to go with them. And boy do I regret it! This business is very unorganized and unprofessional. I'll try to keep it as short as possible. I wanted to do a two tone kitchen and spoke to Yeshoda about it. After trying to discourage me from doing a two tone, and trying to impose her ideas, I insisted on the two tone. Zabi came and took measurements and told me that my AC vent would be in the way of the cabinets and he needed 14" clearance from the wall. Although I had just finished the ceiling I moved the vent as requested and patched it. He also said that my floors would need to be leveled before installation. On installation day, it turns out that Zabi took incorrect measurements on one of the walls and the fridge panel was going to fall on top of the AC vent that I had just moved away from the wall. Instead of fixing the issue, Yeshoda questioned me and accused me of not moving the vent as requested. She argued with me and implied that I'm lying and asked the cabinet guy if the vent looks like it was moved. Yeshoda is very difficult to deal with. She was counting the number of emails she was responding to from me. Lady, if you don't like email then call, or better yet, if you don't like your job, just quit! If I had not sent so many emails there would've been much more problems during installation. The wall that was measured incorrectly was the only wall I didn't go over with her in emails. Anyway, after arguments, and after trying to make me pay for moving the vent AGAIN, they finally found that their measurements were incorrect and got a larger cabinet to fix the problem. My major problem is that they are very deceitful, they installed mismatching countertops thinking that I wouldn't notice. When I went to pay for my cabinets, Yeshoda threatened that she would not order my countertops if I don't pay for them in full without seeing them. I insisted on seeing the counters before paying, they ordered them and asked me to come view for approval. And low and behold.... they were the wrong counters!!! Yeshoda had an excuse, she did not receive these counters and the guy came and quietly delivered them without her knowledge.... Finally, they ordered the correct counters and I paid in full. Mismatched counters were installed on the same day that I had to take my husband to the hospital for surgery and I was not focusing on the countertops until we got back from the hospital a week later. I emailed to let them know of this huge mistake and to see how they would remedy this problem. Instead, they sent me pictures of the counters they have on display which doesn't prove anything. They were trying to convince me that they are the same and that I'm imagining things instead of coming to look at what was installed in my kitchen. Although Zabi is much easier to get along with, one thing he takes pride in is that he "doesn't check on his crew because they do a good job and he might miss a $50,000 deal if he's away from the showroom!" Well I think it's time that you review your crew's work. I called like 10 times all three numbers they have and no one answered! As you can clearly see in the pictures that the White Laza counters I chose has clear defined veins and the other one they installed has blurry thicker veins. I really don't appreciate this dishonesty and hope no one else falls prey for these people! Their counter quality and finish is horrendous! They easily stain even chopping carrots turns it orange. They're not worth it. Another thing they were dishonest about was the lazy Susan turntable they installed. After a lot of back and forth, I decided to stop arguing and accept the defective lazy Susan because I wanted this over On top of that they threatened me in an email if I file a complaint or write a bad review that they will see to it that I pay for defaming them. Please, be careful and think 100 times before allowing them to do your kitchen or counters, you WILL be disappointed one way or another read more

First off this review has been a long time coming. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a new kitchen. I went to this company because of good reviews on yelp. I also seen their sign from the freeway so I decided to give them a look. Went in and met with Alex she was the designer. She was very polite and helpful. That day we decided to go ahead with them and get the kitchen they designed. Do to some unforeseen circumstances construction came to a halt for almost a year. The time came to install the kitchen, the crew of a husband and wife came to install. It was very hard to communicate with them because they did not speak English. They brought in boxes full of cabinets to put together and assemble as if we bought them from ikea. This was never explained to us, our understanding was that were we getting cabinets built, not assembled that was disappointing already. So they started the installation which took two days. I was around the whole time for any questions the installers may have. The whole time they did not ask one question. I also pointed out some issues I had with screw holes that were visible, some damage to cabinets and the crown molding not being installed correctly. These concerns were brought up immediately so they can be fixed, but like I said the installers could not communicate in English. So I brought them up to Zabi who in the beginning of this process was very professional and polite. Until I brought up these issues of the damaged cabinets, bad miter cuts, and bad crown molding installation. He came out to my house and started bringing his level out to show us how our construction on our house was bad and uneven and that nothing was wrong on their end. Also I showed him the damage to cabinets and he said we will not be able to see that. He said he would send crew back out to fix the bad miter cut under cabinets. Crew came out to fix miter cut and I asked them to fix crown molding so they called Zabi on facetime and he told me there is nothing they can do because the ceiling was uneven. Very rude and argumentative while using foul language. He suggested to me to have my contractor fix the crown molding. I was upset and send the crew out of my house without fixing anything. I didn't want them to do anymore damage. Not even a year later there was a crack at the seam of our countertop and Reached out to Zabi. He referred me to to manufacturing company of countertops. Blamed the crack on someone sitting on it or that we did it somehow. I sent him pictures of the countertop not being leveled correctly. Like I said I would not recommend this company to anyone. To me anyone can put together cabinets from a box people do this every day when they buy furniture from Ikea. If you want craftsmanship this company does not do that. Crown molding falls into that craftsmanship. Bottom line this company is not up for challenges that come up. Your house has to be square and perfect so your project will come out good. Our kitchen project was not without issue which was frustrating and disappointing. (Long story short.) However, in the end, the owner of Granite and Cabinet Depot was a stand up professional and upon our request, he stepped in, made a special trip to our home in Friday traffic, assessed the situation, and made sure that the issues were well resolved! (The lead contractor/specialist that came out with the owner did an outstanding job with the needed modifications!) Not all projects go smoothly and sometimes a little extra time and attention is needed. More people that work with the public should understand this and take the time to listen and when needed make right any wrong! Many in Yelp fuss about the one thing that didn't go perfectly. I could do that, not everything went our way. But, most everything certainly did. The big things, They were exactly on time, I did the demolition myself and they arrived to do the install on the day they said they would. They said the process would take 5 days, and it did. After five days they were done. We were only without a kitchen for 10 days, including demolition. When we walked into G&C Depot we came with detail measurements of our kitchen. Less than an hour later we left with a quote. There was no pressure to sign, they didn't play the "buy today and I'll do this" game. No pressure at all. We visited other stores but their quote was the best. Adding to that other stores applied high pressure to the sale to try to close a sale quickly. This is our kitchen and we will be living with it for many years. No reason to rush into a bad decision. Zabi at Granite and Cabinet Depot is a good man and I would do business with him again. He listened very carefully to how I used my kitchen and we created a design that matched how I cooked. I have a big family and a small space. Zabi with his background met every need I had to create a kitchen that had a high output yet small worked in a small space. Ashley our design consultant showed great patience with us as we reviewed every possible option. We combed over everything in the store and she never made us feel rushed. She helped us see what worked and what didn't. Going the distance, Ashley took the pictures of all of her stock of granite and created a matched set that blends beautifully. I struggled because the only way to have demo one day and install the next was to finish up on Friday afternoon. If had needed an electrician or plumber after install, it would have been an issue. It took a while for us to catch on that they do demo and install only. They don't do tile work or reconnect plumbing. You need to arrange all that. However, the Quartzite and the installation are as good as it gets. I couldn't even find a seam where the slabs fit together in the corner. I'm all about the practical things, but I must say it'd was the same house when they were done. Oh yeah, it's at least a five. read more

We've just finished up our 3rd Kitchen Remodel with Granite & Cabinet Depot . Zabi and his team are efficient craftsmen that have helped us design kitchens in our high end flips. He's brought trends to our attention, market movement with what consumers are really looking for, and even addressed a fatal design flaw that I overlooked in not having a pantry. It was actually one of his competitors bids . He corrected it and still came in lower in price with better countertops. Had he not seen that, It would have been embarrassing for us. On a separate occasion, we had a luxury flip in Lake Mathews . Zabi ended up pointing out that it was more cost effective to have free standing 36" Viking Range, than to keep the existing design of a double wall oven and separate 6 burner stovetop. He designed the schematic for me and was able to install the entire kitchen within 2 weeks. The kitchen was the feature of that home that really drove the sale. I recently remodeled my kitchen and wanted to do so on a strict budget. I saw a sign from the highway for the Granite and Cabinet Depot and decided to give it a try, hearing that prices started at 25.95 installed. If you have looked at any of their competitors (Home Depot, Lowes, Arizona Tile, Ikea, etc) you will be cognizant of the fact that this is a fantastic deal. Anyway, I took my husband to the warehouse and checked out their model kitchen and the various slabs of material that they offer. It is cold in the warehouse, so make sure that you wear a warm sweater. After perusing the offerings we met with Alexandria in the office where she helped us to put together pricing for our two different choices. We ended up choosing the Sunset Gold and setting up a time to pick out our slabs for the future. Alexandria was communicative about helping us to choose our slabs and setting up our installation times. The workers came on time and did a great job of making sure they finished our installation within the day. Overall we are really impressed with the craftsmanship and the cost of our kitchen and have no regrets about going with this company. Just a few key pieces of advice: First, the 25.95 price is for their lowest cost granite slab, but the other slabs can be considerably more, some costing over 50.00 per square foot. The variety is very large though, and more than likely you can find something you like at your price point. Second, I was able to get a free sink with my purchase by using the coupon contained on their site online. Not sure if this promotion is still going on, but it was a great deal. We purchased 2 beautiful slabs of krystal, quartzsite from Granite Depot costing $10k, including the install. We used 1 full slab and about a quarter of the second one for the kitchen. The plan was to use the remaining slab in the bathroom when it was ready. The installer apparently doesn't know what a level is, one of the slabs was an inch out of level, causing the cabinet install to be delayed. We notified Zabi of the problem and the first thing out of his mouth was "you signed off on it". We had to pay the cabinet installer to FIX the hack job on the kitchen cabinet. Now, it's time for us to use the remaining second slab on the bathroom. Guess what? We can't get a hold of the installer! Zabi said he doesn't have a phone! What kind of customer service is that? When your house is broken into and you're robbed, you call the police and hope to get your belongings back. Who do you call when you are robbed by an establishment like Granite Depot? That piece of quartzsite is worth $4 to $5,000.00 They robbed us! read more
