Then in October, Hurricane Milton decided to take down one of our neighbors tall pines which slammed right through the pool enclosure and into our pool. Half of the aluminum and screens were demolished. It took two+ months for our insurance company to tell us that they wouldn't replace it, and to repair it would cost less than the deductible. So we were two months behind everyone else who was looking to repair from the hurricane. We got a lot of quotes. Some companies took a month to get us a quote. Almost no companies would quote us on repair, only replace. Structural integrity and all that. Of all the companies we got estimates from, ASAP was the best with price and communication. It was an easy choice. It took a few weeks to get the project started, but they had told us that would be the case. They pulled the permits and once they got started, it was a matter of days, and ...perfect new pool enclosure. The communication was great the whole process and we are happy to have it completed.

I called again and spoke to Larry and he told me the quote would cost $100 and if I needed verification that he had liability insurance, his insurance company would charge him $100 to provide a copy of the certificate of insurance. I spend my days hiring subcontractors all over America to do maintenance work on retail clothing stores and I have NEVER seen an insurance company charge for a copy of an insurance certificate. It was not my fault and I had a witness from when the measurements were done who saw where the wall was to be removed and the witness removed the wall. W.E. Int. cut down the wall and redid a floor tile to make the counter fit even though they would not admit it was their mistake. Last year due to a family member's health issue in the middle of a remodel I decided I give them a second chance to do bathroom counter top and new thresholds for showers. First they wanted to bill me for 2 counter tops instead of one. My paper work says the product is quartz and when I contacted them to say the countertop was damaged I was told it was quarzite. I was told they would never have told me it was quartz. Well in fact they did and my receipt says the same thing. The backsplash was most likely broken in front of my house because of the amount of time they spent outside with it. They glued it together and just installed without saying anything to me. I was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about and felt as if I was treated different because I am a female. I asked a couple of times for corrected paperwork with at least the correct name of the product used. To date never received it the corrected paperwork and this was almost a year ago.

I wanted the carpet installed immediately after I closed . I went to The Carpet Store to pick out and purchase carpet. I went early on a Saturday morning. This place is a warehouse not really a "store". Several people were available to help fairly quickly. One to take the plans I brought in and attempt to measure, the other to help us select carpet. I did not know what I was getting myself into because I had no idea there were so many options and the entire process was confusing. From which brand, which material, which padding and the most difficult decision, which color... I was not prepared but I knew I was making a decision that day. Two hours later, I knew a bit more about carpet and padding and stain resistance, etc. We put down a $1000 deposit so they would make an appointment to measure which was scheduled the next week, once they measured, the carpet was ordered and took about a week and half to come in. Long story short, we did not close on the Townhouse and were refunded $750 of the $1000 deposit that was for approximately $3000 worth of carpet. We have about 6 months to use the $250 credit. I am giving 4 stars because this was a difficult process and I have nothing to compare to. The Carpet Store did a pretty good job helping us through it he process. I think!

My tile was to be installed in less than a week, all the while I'm made to assume that my tile is waiting to be picked up. I get a call from the carpet store telling me later that my tile is not available. This is the last thing you want to hear when time is of the essence. Perhaps it was due to the crisis that the tile didn't make it in time. Who knows! I was told I'd hear back with an alternative that closely resembled the original, never heard back.
