4 stars??? I have never made a purchase like this before…read more I visited The Carpet Store because I was buying carpet for a Townhouse I had under contract. I wanted the carpet installed immediately after I closed . I went to The Carpet Store to pick out and purchase carpet. I went early on a Saturday morning. This place is a warehouse not really a "store". Several people were available to help fairly quickly. One to take the plans I brought in and attempt to measure, the other to help us select carpet. I did not know what I was getting myself into because I had no idea there were so many options and the entire process was confusing. From which brand, which material, which padding and the most difficult decision, which color... I was not prepared but I knew I was making a decision that day. Two hours later, I knew a bit more about carpet and padding and stain resistance, etc. We put down a $1000 deposit so they would make an appointment to measure which was scheduled the next week, once they measured, the carpet was ordered and took about a week and half to come in. Long story short, we did not close on the Townhouse and were refunded $750 of the $1000 deposit that was for approximately $3000 worth of carpet. We have about 6 months to use the $250 credit. I am giving 4 stars because this was a difficult process and I have nothing to compare to. The Carpet Store did a pretty good job helping us through it he process. I think!

I get a call from the carpet store telling me later that my tile is not available. This is the last thing you want to hear when time is of the essence. Perhaps it was due to the crisis that the tile didn't make it in time. Who knows! I was told I'd hear back with an alternative that closely resembled the original, never heard back. I'll give them a 3 star rating for the initial service I got from them, but this was a big time waster for me.

1/5 -- Extremely Disappointed With 50Floor Installation and Customer Service…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with 50Floor. We hired them to install LVP flooring in three bedrooms, and the installation was completed on August 16. Unfortunately, the quality of the installation and the lack of follow-up have been unacceptable. During the installation, the installers damaged our walls and molding throughout the rooms. The molding was cracked and damaged, then simply reinstalled rather than properly replaced. There are also several areas where the new flooring is lifting at the corners, and other areas feel loose and hollow when walked on. This is a brand-new installation and should not already have these types of issues. They also damaged the appearance of my custom closet by installing molding around it after I specifically stated that I did not want molding added there. Communication during the installation was also extremely difficult because the installers assigned to our home did not speak English, which made it very challenging to communicate our concerns and instructions while the work was being performed. What is most frustrating is what has happened since the installation. As of August 29, nearly two weeks after the work was completed, no one from 50Floor has come to our home to inspect the flooring, the damage, or the workmanship. We have attempted to contact the company, but our phone calls have not been returned and our concerns remain unresolved. 50Floor advertises a lifetime installation warranty, but a warranty means very little if you cannot get the company to respond when there are problems with the installation. We paid for professionally installed flooring and expected professional workmanship, proper care of our home, and responsive customer service when problems arose. Instead, we are left with damaged walls and molding, improperly installed flooring, damage to our custom closet area, and no meaningful response from the company. I would not recommend 50Floor based on our experience. I will update this review if the company takes responsibility, inspects the installation, and properly resolves these issues.

We ended up finding a nice LVP option that worked well with our house. The install team was scheduled quickly and finished the job within a few days. The install team worked efficiently, were kind and cleaned up after themselves. LG Kramer really took the time to make sure everything went smoothly. Even after a year, we are receiving great service. Recently we chose to update a bathroom vanity, which left a gap in the flooring. We called and asked if they could cosmetically fix our section and sure enough they had an installer out here quickly and we are back to new. So thankful for Gianna's warm heart and the amazing crews they have helping their clients.

He used profanity throughout the entire installation and made several disrespectful comments. At the start, there was a miscommunication about the furniture needing to be broken down and moved from each room. Instead of discussing a solution, he immediately began complaining that it should have already been done and that it wasn't his responsibility. I explained that everyone in my household had taken the day off specifically to help move anything necessary. It wasn't until my spouse stepped in and asked that we work together on a solution that the conversation shifted. Even after a plan was agreed upon, my family and I had to continue listening to him make negative remarks about our home and belongings, including saying we had "shit everywhere" and that he didn't know what to tell the other installer because "everything was a mess." I later learned that this installer is related to someone in management, which may explain the attitude we experienced. Despite this individual's behavior, I was extremely pleased with the overall service and the final result.
