Unfortunately, the guy they sent to install our carpet messed up every area of brand new baseboards in our room. I called Penny and Angel, sent photos in, and they said "its part of the job". I can understand if there are a few scuffs. This is a bit much though. They didnt offer to give a discounted rate to offset the fees we now have to repair brand new baseboards. They didnt offer to send someone out to repair it. Basically go eff ourselves cause "its in the contract some damage can happen". Penny charged $300 to stretch carpet in another room. We asked the guy how much it would be to stretch another room since he was here and he said Penny paid him $150 to do the room and he would do the second room for the same. read more

I shopped quite a few vendors. I even called over to companies in Georgia (where the carpet is all made). Danny at Floor Source in Surprise was fantastic. I came in knowing I wanted plush carpet. Other places kept steering me towards lower quality with a higher price..... not Danny! He got me exactly what I was looking for. With a great price to boot. Shipping took a little longer, no fault of Floor Source, as they had to make more of our carpet. When it came in, they were able to schedule us within a week. I said I had already moved quite a bit and could do earlier if needed. So carpet came in on Monday, installed Friday - which was earlier than the original Tuesday. Installers were excellent too. He showed me that my closet doors were slightly too long, so my neighbor was easily able to trim them 1/2" and they were installed right at the end perfectly. It was an absolutely seamless process. Floor Source has a ton of options, and if they don't have it... they'll find it. You can't go wrong with them! read more

This is a long review-but it was a long project because of Floor Source inept management. Josh at Floor Source did work to keep us in budget of an insurance claim, but what we went through and the length of time we lived in demolition was not right. April 29 we began a project working with Floor Source Chandler AZ. This project involved demolition and removal of wood floor and replace with 24 x 48 tile. We were told by floor source that there would be a five man team for removal (turned out to be 2-3 most days) and they arrived at 9:30 am and ended most days at 2:30. (One day they stayed until 5:30) They used one machine to take up wooden flooring. This is not a work day. And not much work got done. Day five we questioned the tile that had arrived and ask Floor Source to check on it and of course it was the wrong tile. The new tile took until May 16 to arrive. Check the time and dates already spent...There was nothing about completion date in the contract-so ask for that if you even want to use Floor Source. Joe-the owner of this franchise , was sarcastic and degrading when disagreed with. Fifteen of our large tile, when actually installed had 3 large brown marks on each (that we questioned immediately ) that had to be taken out and replaced. Then the tile installers gauged the wallpaper in the bathroom, then broke the toilet. Many things went wrong because a young tile team was used and we had to go through their growing pains with them. We even had to lend them a broom and dust pan. THIS IS NOT WHAT CUSTOMERS PAY FOR AND NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT. After the spotted tiles were replaced we noticed black specs on many of the tiles. THE SAMPLE TILES WE SAW AT FLOOR SOURCE DID NOT HAVE SPECS OR BROWN SPOTS. FLOOR SOURCE AND MONTEREY TILE COMPANY MIS REPRESENTED THIS TILE. Joe and "his buddies" from Monterey came to look at the black specs on the tile. They all decided it was part of the tile-but it is not on every tile. So we are left with specs on the some of the tile we live on. No word to Monterey to fix their product. Today-July 3rd the wallpaper was replaced so the project is complete. 65 days. WE WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW. This was a long process that left us feeling like Floor Source didn't manage it well. Think twice before using this company and avoid Joe. read more

It has been well over a month since I installed my new flooring from Floor Source, and I can happily state that I am very pleased with the end result. Since I was going thru a whole home flooring replacement, I had my reservations to committing such a task to just any company. Like everyone else going thru the trials and tribulations of reviewing floor companies, I had hoped I had done my best to screen prospective flooring companies to garner my business and more importantly, my trust. I eventually picked Floor Source, to manage and execute on my project. Sales recommendations were "spot-on" and since Rich also had to measure the square footage, he also had another opportunity to validate his initial recommendations and how they would appear at the actual site. My original flooring was going on 28+ years old, so it was time. I selected wood-looking flooring for my 1st Floor and Carpeting for my 2nd Floor and stairs, as well as all new baseboard, underlay and carpet padding. When all was completely installed, I am excited to say that my place looks fantastic. As much as Rich was the light beacon that helped design the end solution, the highlight of the entire project, has to go to the installation teams. Since I was installing two types of flooring, I was assigned two teams: 1) for the hard flooring Alberto was the assigned Install Lead and 2) for the carpeting, Mario was the assigned Install Lead. IMO, these guys and their respective teams were the epitome of their profession. Everyone was knowledgeable, very hard-working, and very cognitive of all details that definitely made the difference between a so-so install vs. a "great" install, Their work ethics are exemplary. They also made recommendations and adjustments in real-time so that the end result was a "fabulous" installation and they are the differentiator on why I would not hesitate to recommend Floor Source for all your flooring needs. I am really disappointed as I went down to there show room on black canyon highway. angel was nice. I am Abit disappointed after spe over two hours with Veronica and getting a quote over $ 9,000 plus dollars for only 1,0000 square ft. I am disappointed frustrated upset. I wanTed vinyl not laminate. so this tells me she di care. she added non essentials Moving furniture, appliances to my free in store estimate. and had too revise it. SAD I AM a veteran. a sad way to loose a customer. There are no prices on any the flooring. WOw & putt down floor & decor calling them a second hand company. NEVER RECOMMEND. Amazing job! Dave Andrews with Floor Source just put in new flooring in my bathrooms that had old, outdated, saltillo type looking tile. Look at this beauty that was installed. They also text you the day before the install is happening with an estimated time of arrival which is really helpful, not all contractors do that. Dave also recommended this tile when my wife and I were looking at other tiles, we almost went with a small hex tile that was 5x more expensive, but he listened to our needs, and because we were moving out of our place in 1 year and renting it out, it didn't make sense to spend that money on this home, but would make sense to get something really high end for our next home. This may be a bit premature but my wife and I were in their black canyon store and spoke with Omar, set an appointment to come and measure the space we wished new LVP for today between 4-5 pm. at 4:30 called to verify our appointment and got the impression he'd completely forgotten. Have rescheduled for tomorrow so we'll see,but right now I'm not overly impressed with their professionalism. Hopefully I'll be able to amend this review with something more positive... update no.3 The two young men from the Floor Source finished out flooring on schedule And it's lovely , thanks again to Scott and his crew. We had ALL of the flooring replaced in our new home by Floor Source. And while we did run into installation issues with both the upstairs carpet as well as the downstairs laminate, Floor Source stood by their word and made sure any issues were fully addressed. In our case, the carpet had to be completely reordered and reinstalled upstairs. In addition, a large portion of our downstairs flooring had to be ripped out and redone. As we stand today the final job looks outstanding. Sharing more detail below that deserves to be noted: Our sales lead was very wonderful and helpful in the beginning and worked very hard to find alternative flooring when we discovered our flooring was on backorder. He also made sure the carpet issues were addressed quickly as well, without a second thought. However, given our project was a long one due to high standards we had (and should have), installation challenges and backorder issues, he very slowly became short with us which was really disappointing. At one point when we texted him after discovering an issue he responded "I can't talk right now". I understand that our job was a tough one where we admittedly had frustrated moments, but I work in customer service too. And I would not treat a client the way he did on that day and frankly a few other occasions prior to that, that I will not get into here. Considering the above I want to give ALL of my 5 stars credit to Omar, the lead installer who really saved the day. Rarely these days do you come across exceptional customer service like his. He stepped in immediately with empathy and patience. He has an extensive background in installation which gives him a detailed eye. From day one he wanted to make sure any issues were not only addressed immediately, but that they were done correctly for long term success. He repeatedly recognized the investment we were making in our floors with them, and the quality and customer service that we should expect as a result as well. Thank you to Floor Source management for getting our job done to the quality that we expect despite the challenges along the way. We chose Floor Source to install wood-plank-look porcelain tile throughout our home (about 1,600 sq ft). They first had to remove carpet, laminate, and tile. It was a huge job. But the installers finished it beautifully. The team was on time, polite and helpful. At the end, everything was moved back into its place and things had been wiped down from the dust. And the baseboards are awesome, a huge upgrade from what we had before. I'd trust Floor Source with my clients, friends and family in the future. Guy came out to quote me, was fairly friendly but ultimately wanted to charge me what I considered to be an exorbitant amount. **Almost 10k more between product price and install than the company I went with. ** Store room was a ghost town on a Saturday which didn't bode well for me either. I asked him to pick tile samples back up and that was ignored. Wouldn't be my pick. Second update. Now the owner is harassing me because he apparently can't read. My update is accurate. This place tried to rip me off. Now adding insult to injury by harassing me. Unprofessional, greedy, SO glad I dodged the bullet of working with them. My recommendation? Avoid at all costs! We're are in the middle of repairing a roof and had a leak that ran down the wall onto our flooring. Joe the salesman took the time to assist our contractor, and find us the perfect new flooring for our bedroom. Their showroom is right off the 17 and they had the a variety of options so my wife was able to select samples and bring them home to check the colors. We are repeat customers. We had over 3000sf of wood plank tile laid in our new house in 2022. We worked with Danny Lain then and we were very pleased with the whole process. He always did what he said he would and was easy to work with. Now July of 2023 we needed 1000sf of old tile removed and wood plank tile installed on our patio and entryway. Once again Danny made the whole process so quick and easy. We used Floor Source to replace the carpet in two bedrooms. Worked with Jarod on the sales side and Memo on the installation. Excellent experience with both. Jared was very patient with us and our numerous questions about the various carpets. Carpet arrived ahead of schedule and they very quickly slotted us in for install. Memo took great care in moving our furniture and went above and beyond to repair loose parts as they were handling the furniture. We have an old closet system that was looking tired. Memo worked magic to shore up sagging pieces and dress it up when installing the baseboard. Ended up cancelling an estimate with a different vendor to have the closet replaced. Outstanding customer service in having a supervisor (Aaron) stop in, say hello and check on progress. Not that it was needed...Memo and crew were outstanding and clearly enjoyed working together.
