So, we decided to build our own custom table. Based on the wonderful work that he did with our kitchen, we went back to Jonathan to see if he was interested in taking on the project. He said "yes" and went on to help us build the most beautiful walnut slab table (105 inches long/42-50 inches wide). It consisted of two bookmatched walnut slabs, each weighing over 200 lbs each. It was a more difficult project than Jonathan expected due to the size of the wood pieces, but he did a great job of finishing the wood so the beauty of the walnut really shined through. We collaborated from start to finish, from picking out the right slabs to finalizing the cuts and the degree of "polish". We're thrilled with the results and look forward to having large dinner parties (as long as our friends don't scratch the table :))

Also MISTY the sales representative is amazing. Although, fast forward 3 yrs later the service quality is horrendous. I hired them to install a Murphy bed, cabinet space, and closet doors. (Over $12,000) They messed up on every single thing. (Examples: big bold letters on top of paperwork. "Do not cut moldings", first thing they do is cut moldings, put together wrong and forgot steps. Had to have someone come out to fix). They also forgot steps in putting together the cabinetry. I understand people make mistakes. But pieces were left at shop and guys had to go back multiple times throughout the build process, and forgetting to fully finish the work accordingly is unacceptable. This company is supposed to be 5 star service. This was definitely not 5 start service that you pay for. Now down to the doors, I never had them done bc they quoted me a price, (with a rendering) and was signed and agreed on. California closets came to me after the quote (about a month down the road) and told me that THEIR vendor they normally used back out of the build. (Which is not the customers fault) and came to me and said that I would have to pay another 4K dollars bc they had to go find another vendor. I argued the fact bc that wasn't my issue that THEIR vendor backed out. They proceeded to tell me that is was a customers problem not California Closets. That is quoted from the director of sales for California closets. I would not recommend using this company now they are a joke and they don't provide the 5 star, white glove services that they proceed to offer.
