First of all: wow. This past year, my husband and I have met quite a few contractors/handymen/plumbers/ you name it, and Floors by Tomorrow (*flooring* of tomorrow is their website URL, but their company is Floors) has been the best experience out of all of them. Dan (the owner) has an amazing personality, customer service out of this world, and is thorough and straightforward when explaining an issue and how to fix it. And I mean thorough. Dan walked us through our current materials and flooring situation, and all of the different options. My husband and I had some super janky hardwood-veneer floor damage in our kitchen, and he explained the composition of our current floors (hence why I was able to say hardwood veneer), the extent of the damage, and different options and suggestions. During his initial visit, he was also able to provide a quick fix to the biggest cosmetic damage so that we weren't stuck with weird gaps in the floor anymore. Last thing: the name is Floors by "Tomorrow", and they really did reach out to set up a Floor Assessment Appt for the very next day. They really mean it when it says Tomorrow. Floors by Tomorrow was great taking care of a small bath/laundry area in a rental home I manage. They were super quick and very communicative throughout the entire process. They had to remove a toilet for the flooring to be installed and when the tenants moved in a day later they noticed a bit of water at the base of the toilet and reported it. I contacted Dan at FBT and let him know so he had the contractor back out to the house later that day to take care of the situation. These guys are amazing. Dan was very responsive to our inquiry right away and was available to get our carpet done the weekend we needed it to be done by (less than 2 days notice too) The install was very quick and looks absolutely perfect. We had unfortunately purchased a tiny bit less than expected, (didn't account correctly for the steps) and Armondo was able to come back a few hrs later once I went to pick up more carpet. I would definitely recommend Floors by Tomorrow. I called Dan and he came over within the hour to assess our worn oak floors and give an estimate. His crew were courteous and efficient and friendly, even with my young son running around while they worked. They sanded our three-quarter inch oak floors and glazed them in less than a day. The floors were so ugly I couldn't imagine them being attractive again, but they are more than beautiful and modern looking now. The price is right and they are flexible and fast, too. I'm really happy with Floors by Tomorrow. The price for my laminate flooring was MUCH cheaper than what Dun-Rite wanted for the same job (about a quarter of the cost) using the same exact floor material. Not similar... exact. Also Dun-Rite wanted to wait until mid-January to even start. Floors by Tomorrow completed my carpet work 3 days after I put down the deposit and the laminate a few days after that. They did an excellent job. I'll use Floors by Tomorrow again when I figure out what I wanna do with my basement, hopefully next year. read more
