They have rows and rows of fresh flowers to choose from, plus a whole indoor plant section that I absolutely loved. They also carry bouquet supplies, so this really feels like a one-stop shop for anything floral-related. One thing to keep in mind: if you don't own a business, the flowers can get pretty pricey since they mark up the prices around 25% for regular customers. Definitely something to be aware of before shopping here. Overall though, the staff was kind and helpful, and I'd still come back anytime I need bulk flowers. Absolutely horrible experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Their employees gave bad advice on caring for roses that led them to die within a few days and they refused to acknowledge their error and issue a refund or credit. My husband bought me David Austen roses, which I have always wanted, for my 40th and Mother's Day present. The woman instructed him to put the roses in a refrigerator and clean water to keep the roses fresh and they should last a week. My husband bought these roses on a Wednesday and then gave them to me on Friday. That night they started wilting. We tried to salvage them but they died. We called Flora Fresh about 5 days later to tell them the issue. After some back and forth, they refused to provide a credit or a refund, stating that per policy we needed to call within 24 hours, couldn't look up the item in their records, and all parties were interviewed and they decided against us. We responded saying that the problems didn't show up in 24 hours and the salesperson said they would last a week. We paid by credit card and can be looked up in their records because one of the salespersons took our information to look it up. Lastly, there is no reason for us to put roses in the refrigerator unless we were told to do so. Also, of course an employee is going to be self-serving and not admit he/she gave bad advice when confronted by management. read more

AWESOME! I'm so glad to have discovered this wonderful flower mart in the heart of Sacramento. It's near Arden Fair, where 160 and 80 meet. Easy to find. They have a small parking lot. You need a business license to shop here and you need to open an account. Go on their website to download the form they require. I filled it out before I went and the whole process to get me signed up took five minutes. Very friendly employees!! Can't wait to come back. I was looking for Lilacs for a photo shoot and they had bunches and bunches. I was so happy! I was able to quickly pick up exactly what I needed. They were SO fresh and lasted 10 days which is phenomenal. I also bought some ranunculus which lasted forever. They have several areas to shop in. The main refrigerator has tons and tons of flowers, stock, roses, greenery...on and on. They also have a separate area for only organic flowers and a separate area for tropical flowers. They are extremely RUDE. My first time here and I came in asked where the warehouse is at and I didn't even get to finish my question and the lady the front said "DID YOU READ THE SIGN?!" I'm like "not open to public?" And she responded "we are close" like damn... maybe make the sign bigger? Or lock the doors? Update your website for special hours? I came to the store a few times to buy fresh flowers for my friends' weddings. Each visit we spent about couple hundreds to a thousand dollars... so here are my few cents. The store: -Good collections of fresh flowers, leaves and floral arrangement supplies such as vases, ribbons, crafting items. -Make sure to bring a sweater since the floral storage room is super cold, 40-50F. -You also need a business license to purchase even though it's opened to the public. -They do have artificial flowers but pretty limited Price: Expensive... not as cheap as you think, esp for a wholesaler like them. -Artificial flowers and floral arrangement supplies at Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Joan's also Dollar Tree/99cent stores are actually cheaper since these stores have sale items and coupons all the time. -I did some price comparisons regarding fresh flowers w/ other places like Costco, Safeway, Raley's, Trader Joe... Keep in mind that that the price difference is not significant in small purchases but when you buy them in bulks, it does matter a lot. It's not a comprehensive list and the prices do fluctuate by seasons, but here are a few examples (Here come the numbers and the math ^^) Costco: Roses 80cent/stem ($39.99 for 50 stems) It's about 71cents/stem on http://www.kmsfloral.com (minimum order $50.97 for 72 stems, to be picked up at your local Costco) Carnation 53cents/stem ($79.99 for 150 stems) Baby breath 90cents/stem ($89.90 for 100 stems) Peonies $1.67/stem ($9.99 for 6 stems) Peonies are in seasons in April-June in Cali. Here's why: Last week I called them to check the office hours for Saturday and was told they're closed at 3:30 PM even though I read it says 2 PM on Yelp. So I took their words and came in past 1pm on the Sat with my bride in separate cars to order flowers... So after about 30mins looking at flowers and deciding which ones to order, we decided to go to Starbuck to work out the numbers of flowers needed and their costs. 30mins later we came back to put in the order and the place was closed and the gate was locked with my car still parking in their parking lot. I was nervous since the store is pretty isolated but did not have a choice but to come back to get my car on Monday morning since they're close on Sunday. When I called to check up on my car's status on Monday morning, I was transferred and talked to Millie whom I assume is the manager(?) She was so rude and extreme hostile. She questioned me why I left my car on their private property and I explained... She did not care for reasons but only tried to criticize my intentions even more and hung up the phone while I was still talking. That was the end of our conversation. The fact is it's partly my fault to leave my car in the parking lot but to be treated as such is not acceptable, esp when they told me the wrong office hour in the first place. So NO, I will NOT come back for their expensive prices and terrible customer services. This is the end of my business with their store. read more

I got the flowers that I could get then I was so happy to see Lisa and Alissa go way out of their way to make sure that everything I needed and got was just what I would expect. This place has the best flowers in town but it also has the weirdest policies. First, they don't allow customers to wear regular shoes-you have to only wear tennis shoes. I came in wearing regular closed toed shoes but I was asked to leave because I wasn't wearing tennis shoes. The lady who asked me to leave was very rude about it!!!! Second, there are two huge dogs that are allowed to roam freely throughout the wearhouse. I am not talking about small dogs, these two dogs are huge. The first time I visited the store and saw the dogs I assumed they were someone's service dogs so I didn't think anything of it. The second time I came to the store, one of the dogs came very close to me and started sniffing my clothes. There was no worker around so I got really nervous to be this close to a large animal. I've been in the floral industry since 2002 and recently relocated myself, and my business, from Los Angeles to Sacramento. Flora Fresh is cool because they can pretty much get anything you need in a relatively short amount of time. My only complaint is they are expensive. Like double what I was paying in LA, which has really hurt my business. I've concluded it must be because there is no other floral providers in the Sacramento area, coupled with being so far from the ports. The staff at Flora Fresh have been pretty nice. read more

Shopped here many years for our shop. Always depended who you knew as to how you were treated. After about 28 years I had it with their outrageous prices, dead flowers that they delivered to the shop, rudeness from Millie, the owner, untimely deliveries to my shop and in general lack of caring anymore. They got too big for their britches. Trust me you can get beautiful flowers at trade Joe's for much much less. You can order ahead there also. I expect a wholesaler to have good product, good variety, and helpful staff. This wholesaler goes above and beyond. It starts with their coolers which have ethylene scrubbers. The quality of the air inside the coolers will tell you this. And they are clean and tidy. This make a big difference when you want flowers to last a long time. I was looking for a whole sale floral shop for a project I had for school . I called and asked if it was open to the public they said yes so I drove ~50 mins to get a price list & that way I could decide what I was going to get. I double checked it was open to the public and the employee said yes. I drove another 50 mins the day before my project was due. (I wanted my flowers to be as fresh as they could be) I picked out my flowers and got ready to pay. When the lady (Don't know her name) got done wrapping up all my flowers asks the name of the account & I said I don't have one so she rolls her eyes & says "WELL YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONE" and I replied I had asked TWO times if it was open to the public & they said yes both times. She kept giving me attitude and said "we're not open to the public, you need to have a permit to shop here." I was in town so I thought I would give it a try (I usually go to SF). The prices were marked up $10 more for hydrandeas ($8 for 5 stems in SF, $18 here). The staff we're nice but were not able to answer my questions. I like how they have have a price list but the flowers inside the floral "fridge" were not labeled. It was very difficult to figure out what to get especially for a newbie like me.
