Ordered the contemporary arrangement for a friend who is grieving. Asked the florist to use the most exotic combination of flowers available and to look similar to the photo. Thy left the arrangement with a neighbor rather than attempting to call my friend to ask if she'd be back for the delivery. Half the joy is receiving it from the florist and the delivery charge--- but I get it! Now as for the arrangement I am so disappointed to see it looks terrible! Liezet was such a pleasure to work with for our April wedding. She asked us questions about our style, flowers we liked, color schemes, and what we needed for the wedding. I e-mailed Liezet numerous times as I had questions, needed clarification or numbers changed and she always responded promptly. She met with us a couple months before the wedding and mocked up our reception table arrangements, I was very impressed and happy. Last minute I asked Liezet to provide some extra succulents for terrariums we purchased and it was not a problem. We purchased greenery for our wooden ceremony arch, bouquets, boutonnieres, flowers for the wedding cake, reception table arrangements, sweetheart table arrangement and she provided a free toss bouquet. My bouquet was stunning and was exactly what I asked for, I LOVED it! All the bouquets, boutonnieres and table arrangements were so beautiful! Liezet and her staff came in and dropped everything off the day of, all the bouquets came in vases so the flowers didn't wilt. The flowers made the tables and room pop, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Liezet was able to stay in our budget and I am exceptionally pleased with how everything turned out. Liezet was extremely accommodating and I highly recommend her florist expertise! Thank you Liezet and your team for making our wedding beautiful! So, I purchased a dozen roses, delivered July 2, as they were closed on the 3rd, for our anniversary. They were beautiful. The florist had taken extra steps with the arrangement and my wife loved them. They were the best we had ever seen. They went bad faster than we would have expected. A friend of ours heard about it and took it upon herself to make mention of it to the florist, unbeknownst to us. Imagine our surprise when a new dozen roses were delivered today with a note apologizing for our disappointment and wishing us a happy anniversary. We had not complained! They head about a problem and stepped up to fix it. I will continue to shop here and would happily recommend them to anyone. The new flowers are just as beautiful as the first dozen. Flowers were being donated by some friends back East, so I met with Bloem to describe my lost friend, who she had been, and what I envisioned. Bloem Decor did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were absolutely magnificent! Her colors were purple, lavender, and spring green. She was adamant that there be no roses. We first met with Bloom's owner around Christmas to set a budget, color scheme, and expectations. She were assured us that they could accommodate our wants and needs but that it would be best to wait until closer to the May wedding to see what flowers would be available. We were not disappointed! The bride's bouquet was fantastic, as were those of the matron of honor and two bridesmaids. Each bouquet was unique; it's hard to say which was prettier. Each table arrangement was unique and, again, impossible to choose the prettiest. I took on with me, much to my husband's chagrin, as he feared I would take it on the plane back to Virginia. Instead I enjoyed it for a few days, then passed it on to a friend, keeping only one stem of orchids that I totes home in my purse and enjoyed for EIGHT weeks! I don't get flowers often, and when I did need some, it just so happened to be on Valentines day. I thought it would be impossible to get some flowers, but the staff at Bloem Decor were very helpful. I walked in without a clue of what I should get, but I was greeted immediately by a nice lady. I told her my woes, and she asked me maybe 10 questions trying to get an idea of what would be best. She asked for a price range, colors, smells, but in the end I told her to use her best judgement. She said they could have it made within 2 hours, but since I didn't need them till night I asked for them to make it so I could pick it up after work. When I came to pick up the flowers I was a little shocked, the bouquet was definitely bigger than I imagined, but they were pretty none the less. The flowers were all high quality and had a little weight to them. I held onto them for about an hour during my bus ride home and my arm nearly fell off. While I was waiting to pick up, there were plenty of panicking men doing some last minute v-day shopping and seemed pleased with the service too. One man was in a hurry and just picked out a few flowers in their store front and they packaged it right there for him in maybe 5 minutes. The did a lovely job here, and everyone I saw on my way back to my office and on the bus said they looked great. I would definitely come back if I needed flowers. read more

Today I was desperate. It was my mom's birthday and the present I had PLANNED on getting... hadn't exactly worked out in my favor. So I got to work at 8:15 this morning in a frenzy with no cell phone, and no idea what to get my mother. Then, I remembered all of those days spent at Broadacre Coffee looking at the always varied and always beautiful arrangements lustfully, trying to figure out how to steal them, or at least one liiiiiittle flower from them, without getting caught. And I remembered that they ordered from the place right next door to them, Bloem. With a plan starting to look feasible, I called Marki, the lovely young woman who arranges the flowers in amazing and colorful sprays and bunches, at 10:00 a.m., with only two hours to spare until my lunch with my mom (see, I told you I was in a frenzy) Not only did Marki make me the most perfect flower arrangement that I could have hoped for for my mom (she asked me a few questions about her taste, but with how picky she tends to be I wasn't sure whether anyone could get her taste down, these were called perfect by my mom. she never calls things perfect.) she told me it would be ready by twelve, and when I called back an hour and a half later to see if they could drop them by my office since I was running late and wouldn't have time to pick them up, one of the other lovely ladies walked them over to my office a few blocks away for no extra cost, and had them here at 11:50. PERFECT timing. So basically, if you are looking for a gift for someone, even the absolute pickiest person you know, these ladies can help you out. Marki knows what she is doing, and I haven't ever seen anything less than perfect come from her skilled hands. read more

They delivered beautiful flowers to a coworker/friend who had experienced a sudden loss. Wonderful staff. They were very patient with me when I was ordering my corsages. However, I was expecting a more wow factor when I picked up my order. I bought three of them for my two sisters and their friend. I guess I was expecting better quality after spending about $130 for three corsages. Maybe it has to do with the white roses I choose. Or maybe because I paid $15 for my corsage and till this day I still remember how wowed I was when I saw my corsage. But at the end of the day, my sisters and their friend were happy with their corsages. I wouldn't go back to buy their corsage. But I would probably be back to see what kind of flowers I can get for the office. read more

I work for a Property Management Office and Bloem Decor does our weekly flower arrangements in our lobby (about 5 large arrangements) and a small arrangement for our front desk. Week after week they never cease to amaze me - every arrangement is so unique and gorgeous. I am also engaged and I really enjoy paying special attention to the vases, flowers, and accents they use in search for the perfect arrangement for my wedding. I have been at this building for two years now and I never get bored with what they bring or feel like I have seen the same arrangement twice. Occasionally an arrangement wont last the week (which comes with the territory of all the experimentation in design they do) and if I call to request a replacement they are happy to do so and thank me for letting them know.
