She answered my call during her commute home and I asked for a flower arrangement for a funeral that was around $100-$150. She said she could work with my budget and later texted me some sample arrangement shapes and styles for approval; they were made completely of roses on a small stand and ribbons. When she called again to confirm and take payment she said it was going to be $150, plus fees bringing the order closer to $180.00. I asked if we could adjust the arrangement price closer to $100 so that it could be under $150.00 with the fees. I truly did not mean to offend her in any way, but this upset her and she said she cannot help that there are fees associated with delivery, tax, etc. I said I completely understand she has to charge fees and tax, but that I am just trying to stay within my budget so maybe the arrangement could be adjusted to meet my budget. I am not a florist and can't be sure, but I imagine there are flowers she could have subbed in to meet my budget? She said she could not make an arrangement for $100.00 and that it would be too small. We could not come to an agreement so an order was not completed. My intent was to work with a smaller business local to where the funeral took place and it's unfortunate we couldn't work things out. She looks like she makes lovely arrangements on her site and she seems very hardworking (answered my calls and texts late at night)...I would just be very clear with her on your budget INCLUDING TAXES AND FEES to avoid conflict on your order.

I entered my personal Gmail and never received an email confirm. So, I called them Thursday evening just to confirm order was received and the woman on the phone was short, abrupt and rude. Her response after cutting me off was " all orders placed were either taken care of today or will go out tomorrow" and she hung up. Then, Friday evening, I checked in because the order still haven't been delivered, same woman on the phone cut me off almost immediately upon answering and said "all orders have been out for delivery already" without even listening to what I was going to say. Again, rude, abrupt, short. And hung up on me again. If they were so busy and they didn't have time to talk, don't answer the phone! Or just say, "hey, we are very busy today, sorry for the delay, someone will get back, etc" She clearly has no interest in customer service or retaining new customers. A woman named Jean answered the phone and was very nice. I asked several times if they have tulips in stock. She assured me each time I asked. She took down the address, both my phone number and my mother's phone number, when I would like it to be delivered, what I want to be written on the card, and my credit card information. I requested the flowers be sent on Mother's Day but if it is earlier, that is okay. I was told they could be delivered on Mother's Day without any additional fee. I was then told it would be $77. If my mom received tulips, on time, then the price does not matter. The flowers arrived the day before Mother's Day. Fine. As you can see in the picture, this are definitely NOT tulips. In fact, they look like weeds. I cannot begin to describe how pissed I was. My mom did not care because it is the thought and she was surprised. I am not sure how they received high star reviews because this was a really negative delivery. If I just ordered on the website without calling and this happened (even though it should not happen anywhere), that would be one thing. But I called. I asked several times. I called and explained the color scheme I was looking for. They listened & created a beautiful & fresh bouquet which was delivered exactly at the time I had requested. They even suggested I text them the slIghtly complicated wish that I wanted to include. They did a great job. The only thing I wish is that the bouquet had been slightly more full. As long ass the flowers last, I will use them again!
