Floral Terrace knows how to throw a wedding. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktail Hour: Tons of food options, but honestly the food was just OK. Everything was kind of bland. The space for 200+ people was fine, but it got very loud in there. The good news is that there were a ton of tables so most people were able to sit. Only one bar, so it took awhile to get a drink. The staff was very on top of cleaning dirty dishes from tables as well as making sure they hit everyone with the passed hors d'oeuvres. Reception: The reception room was beautiful, with a lot of character. The dance floor in the center of the room is elevated which made it easy to see what was going on during the night. The room acoustics were very good. Dinner food was better. The pasta was al dente and tasty and the filet mignon was cooked as requested and super tender. The coffee served was piping hot and the wedding cake was delicious. The Viennese hour had loads of options. Cotton Candy, chocolate fountain, waffle station, cakes and cookies galore. The waitstaff was really on top of keeping water glasses filled (which I always appreciate). Tables were set beautifully and were not at all cramped. Bridal Suite: While I was not part of the bridal party, I did see the suite and it was huge. Multiple rooms with tables chairs and couches so everyone had room to relax before cocktail hour started. From what I saw the bridal attendants went above and beyond to make sure the bride was taken care of. Floral Terrace seems to have a lot of character and offers a lovely backdrop for a wedding. While the food could be improved, the staff and ambiance made the night wonderful.

Frank is the man. I booked this place for my reception 11/17/18. Everyone loved how well staffed the venue was, their glasses were never empty. I had nothing to do on my wedding because Frank and the maitre d'hotel (don't remember his name) did a phenomenal job making sure everything was set to my instructions and the even started and ended on time. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious! 3 floors all to yourself. I had dessert brought in from outside and the setup was elegant! I was just expecting it on trays and but nope! It was so elegant and nice! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to book, it is a bit pricey but so worth it! They will exceed your expectations!

This is an amazing venue where you can celebrate just about any event. I attended a wedding here and honestly it was the best wedding I have been to in 20 years .

It's a little bit after our one year wedding anniversary and I'm still hearing stories from our wedding and how it was the best reception guests have been to. I think I'm going to have to upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. I figured I'd also add a few photos of the food since people loved it.

Let me start off by stating that this venue is absolutely gorgeous! I had a great time at a good friend's wedding, too! Food: the cocktail hour stole the show, really. There was so much food available that merely "trying" everything would probably make anyone full for an evening. My favorite items were the Paella and fried calamari. There are a few areas that this venue can improve upon: if you are setting up hibachi grills, remember to ventilate the room! Secondly, employees who are severely allergic to shellfish probably shouldn't be serving Paella and fried calamari. The main dining room's food was great, too! Lamb is highly recommended! They even came around asking if anyone needed seconds! Service: many of the employees at this venue all look under 18 years of age. It's amazing that they do such a good job, but experience matters, too. Examples abound, but I won't list them here. More training will prove fruitful in the future. Decor: this venue is so beautiful, with its elevated dance floor, colorful lights, and beautiful chandeliers, it certainly is a great place to get married.

Beautiful. So surprising to have such a nice Wedding hall in the middle of... well Jericho Turnpike! It is so easy to get to by car. The positive aspect about this hall is that it is very beautiful with an atrium with marble and light and rocks. There were cozy sitting areas for the general guests and the bridal sitting area was also cozy and comfortable. They are wheelchair accessible via elevators. Parking via Valet. I can see that the staff would easily be overwhelmed by two weddings but one single wedding at a time makes for attentive service and a grand time. The food was catered from outside but the waitstaff were still good about providing service so long as there was only one event being hosted at one time. They barely provided just enough people to take care of this one event.

My husband & I held our wedding ceremony & reception at Floral Terrace last Sunday. The staff/coordinators were extremely helpful from the moment we signed on the dotted line up until our last guest departed. My only issue was that the ceremony area was very stuffy & apparently the air wasn't turned on until my father inquired. I'd like to think that in a room of 150 people, adequate air circulation would be a priority. There were some hiccups beyond our (my husband, myself, & the venue's) control however my maitre d team, ESPECIALLY Tino, stepped up & made sure our day was perfect. A huuuge thank you to the ladies who assisted me all day AND Tino. You guys made our dreams come true.

This is by far the best wedding venue. I couldn't have picked a better place for our reception on July 22. Paul and his team were amazing from day 1 and made this whole process seamless! Tito and Joe were absolutely amazing!! Trust them!! They know what they are doing. Rico and Erica were the best bridal coordinators ever! They were by our side every second making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourself. Every guest (all 250!) could not stop talking about the venue. Amazing decor and even better food! We're still getting calls saying this is the best wedding they ever been too. I can't stress enough how amazing these guys are! Some brides won't do this again, but with this venue and team, I would plan this wedding all over again!!

A good number of them actually thought the cocktail hour was the main course because of all the options.

We completed the work as agreed and paid our employees for every event. However, obtaining payment for our services became an ongoing struggle. Even after many conversations and attempts to resolve the matter professionally, part of the compensation remained unpaid. What made the situation even more concerning were accusations involving allegedly missing money from a guest's vehicle. The details of the story changed over time, and when a formal investigation was suggested, it never moved forward. We acted professionally throughout the entire process and made every effort to reach a fair resolution. Unfortunately, our efforts were unsuccessful, and we suffered financial losses as a result. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage contractors and service providers to exercise caution and ensure that all agreements are thoroughly documented before doing business with this venue.

The staff member couldn't answer a single question and told us to refer to Raj but he was with another family anyways so how am I supposed to ask this man any questions? Why would you schedule a tour with us and then meet with another family instead? He then wouldn't discuss pricing with us because our parents werent present but I'm the one paying for the wedding? Anyways the whole tour experience was a clown show and if the service is this bad before booking imagine after lmao.

When I asked an employee to sweep a small area in the event space that had become dirty, the employee handed me a broom and dustpan and went back to the bar area to socialize with a colleague. The waitstaff is incompetent; they failed to remove finished drinks from tables or attend to guests at all. No one, including me, the host of the event, was asked by the waitstaff if they would like a drink or anything. The only things the waitstaff did were clean food off of tables when a course was over. Throughout the event, the staff appeared untrained and were unaccommodating as guests waited for assistance. In addition, we had no bartender throughout the entire event, even though "Bar Service" was included in our contract. Just a few bottles of red wine and champagne left on top of the bar. Throughout the event, I asked if they could put out white wine, a request they only fulfilled until 30 minutes before the event was over. After the event, we reached out to L, Director of Sales at The Inn at New Hyde Park. She refused to rectify the situation and uphold the contract we had with The Inn. After weeks of her not getting back to us with a resolution, she offered a refund that did not reflect their breaches in contract. Also, on The Inn's website, they claim to have won The Wedding Wire's Couples' Choice Award for 2025. This is false; they did not win.

The whole facility is grand, clean, and quite lovely. There's a beautiful garden area where he had our photographer take pictures. As my wife and I were planning this whole ordeal ourselves, we relied heavily on the Inn's guidance and recommendations. For the most part, they did not let us down. Julia, our wedding planner, helped us every step of the way. And she was great! As were Mary, the maître d,' and Courtney, my wife's adorable bridal attendant. All 3 of these women really did their darndest to help the whole thing come together and go as smoothly as possible. Even down to packing the food up after the party ended (we spent so much time schmoozing, we barely had any time to eat!) And a brief aside about the food: This was one of the few weddings I've (attended?) where all the guests RAVED about the food. May the Inn at New Hyde Park still stand 10 years from now so my wife and I can hold our 10-year anniversary bash here!

Coming here was certainly a treat. The venue is not far from my home in Mineola (which is also a positive.) A very easy ride and I self parked in the large lot behind the CC. I love photographing smaller (under 250 people) events. It almost like you get to meet all the guests and picture taking becomes almost personal. This venue is large enough for that party and easy to navigate while photographing people in the different rooms. The team here is AMAZING. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly. My group shot (picture displayed) was different than I expected and they were kind enough to give me an oversized ladder to use. Food was terrific. Fresh and tasty... What needed to be hot was... and what needed to be cold was just that. There was plenty of food and I'm very confident that no one could have left hungry. There is a certainty an intimacy when the team and party goers can work so close together. You can see from the other five star reviews that my opinions are shared by many others. I had been to the venue twice before--my sister got married here and a friend had a bridal shower--so I already knew it was beautiful. But hosting our wedding here was something truly special. From the very first meeting, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely confident that our day would be in good hands. The venue itself is gorgeous with a warm, slightly rustic, homey charm, but the real standout is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. We didn't even bother touring other venues because we just knew this was the place--and we were 100% right. We worked mostly with James and John, who ran our wedding, and they were both phenomenal. James in particular deserves all the praise in the world. He handles so many details behind the scenes and somehow always seems to be in the exact place you need him. He listened closely to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was even completely prepared for emergencies, pulling out Advil at one point and a tide pen at another... and right before our ceremony, my husband accidentally got water on his vest. James took it, dried it, and brought it back looking perfect just in time. It was such a small moment, but it speaks volumes about how dedicated he is. By the end of the night, it honestly felt like James and John were family. We're already joking about finding excuses to go back just to say hello. If you're considering this venue--stop considering and just BOOK IT! Stewart Manor Country Club is outstanding in every way: the staff, the service, the atmosphere, the care, the experience. We couldn't recommend them more.
