I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience with Maleen Banquet Hall. My company provided valet parking services for events at this venue. We completed the work as agreed and paid our employees for every event. However, obtaining payment for our services became an ongoing struggle. Even after many conversations and attempts to resolve the matter professionally, part of the compensation remained unpaid. What made the situation even more concerning were accusations involving allegedly missing money from a guest's vehicle. The details of the story changed over time, and when a formal investigation was suggested, it never moved forward. We acted professionally throughout the entire process and made every effort to reach a fair resolution. Unfortunately, our efforts were unsuccessful, and we suffered financial losses as a result. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage contractors and service providers to exercise caution and ensure that all agreements are thoroughly documented before doing business with this venue. read more

Travelled nearly 2 hours for a tour where Raj couldn't be assed to show up, leaving us with one of his staff members who didn't know what to do with us and left us in a random room while Raj proceeded to have a meeting with another family. The staff member couldn't answer a single question and told us to refer to Raj but he was with another family anyways so how am I supposed to ask this man any questions? Why would you schedule a tour with us and then meet with another family instead? He then wouldn't discuss pricing with us because our parents werent present but I'm the one paying for the wedding? Anyways the whole tour experience was a clown show and if the service is this bad before booking imagine after lmao. read more

No respect for the community, refuses to tell their customers to stop parking here. When you get a minimum of $300 ticket from the police you can thank this terrible establishment. The manager is great. He was very kind and easy to work with. Held an event here and everything was almost perfect. The staff harassed my dad for a tip at the end of the night and sound system did not work well for some of the performances. Food was excellent. Good location and the room looked great. Their tables and chairs aren't the best but not noticeable once the room is decorated. We used the upstairs hall. read more

The service I received there for my wedding was mediocre at best. The management quoted us $2000 per hour when we sought to extend our celebration. They charge you for everything, including meal tasting. We didn't receive what was promised. For example, they don't arrange your décor, such as placing candles on the table. Tipping all of their employees is required at the conclusion of the celebration. The service was passable all around. read more

The venue for the wedding was great. We truly had a great time and the staff were great. My only gripe is the manager originally told us $1500 per hour to extend. A beautifully constructed and eloquently designed venue. What's eye popping is the 40 car parking, underground. Can not find that elsewhere in Queens. I had a wonderful time at my sangeet here! This hall is so beautiful and clean. Pradhan was so accommodating and stayed during the entire event to make sure everything went well. The entire staff was very professional and the service was great, we had a great ratio of servers to wedding guests. If you want your party to be shitty, this is the place to go. These guys served our reception of 250 plus people with just a handful of servers. My wife and I ordered food from the bridal suite, which wasn't delivered for 2 hours. Also, the bridal suite didn't have the air conditioner running for 2 hours. My wife and I were sweating. We called the reception desk multiple times requesting food and the AC to be turned on, but no one cared. Nobody was there to remove used plated from the tables. Nobody was bringing water out to people. Of course, my wife and I were not aware of any of this because we were sitting in the suite and not eating or drinking. Despite our family complaining multiple times to the owner Mani Singh, nothing was done. Mani Singh was serving the bar himself due to a shortage of staff. Since this hall is brand new and looks nice inside, we were unaware of their poor service. When we put the deposit down, all the owner talked about was how he spent $11M on this hall. His $11M is no good if he's not going to hire enough people to serve my wedding reception. We heard similar complaints from some other people as well, but this guy promised us nothing but top-notch service. Hence, we were misled by his lies. We were left disappointed. Our guests that came to be a part of our big day from all across the country were left with tables full of plates and no water. Some of my very close family missed a significant portion of the party because they were following the owner around to get stuff out to people. You're better off going to a banquet hall that's older and is less flashy than this one but has better service. We walked away disappointed. I will never step on this property again, and I suggest you find another hall for your big day. read more

Yes the place is beautiful , but not the food, we don't like the food. they make beef biriany no salt. and too hot inside. they said their AC is broken two hour before our venue started. We were sitting in the hot summer weather with no AC. We spent more than $19000 with no AC bad food quality. Alot of food was leftover because it was poorly made, and there was no discount given after all of their poor service. For this experience, we basically through our money away. I walked in for dining and I was gracefully greeted by staff. THIS PLACE IS HUGE!!! My group and I sat at a gorgeous table and room surrounded by ambiance lighting and superb service. The food and drinks came quickly. All staff wearing masks and gloves it made me feel safe. Their naan was delicious and found the various foods we ordered to be well cooked and nicely presented. Worst place ever, celebrated me & my newly bride wedding reception at this banquet hall this past Sunday and the management was terrible. The manager Shaheen was so unprofessional and was trying to take more money from us when we already had a written contract given on filed. These people are scams and crooks and would do anything for money an promise you everything they can do would be perfect for your day but in reality they don't care about anything besides money. They don't know anything about there own equipments and when you try to speak to them about it they would be very rude and nasty toward you all they know how to do is take your money from you since thats all they care about . My wife had to also make her own menu too hand out too the guest since they don't know how too handling a catering event although its offered in there contract . If I could rate this hall a zero I will most definitely will do so . I truly advise anyone too run from this venue and too stay far away from this place as much as you can . I did that atleast 4 to 5 times. The main bar had no one to attend the guest. Tables were full of plates that needed to be picked up. It got so backed up that plates fell from the table and broke. Terrible pricing for events, they think they are upscale and will expect you to pay similar rates to Sandcastle & Chateau La Mer.

There are much better places you can go to save money and time. Yes the venue is gorgeous and the quality of food is ok. But this place is more intended for party food and not a dinner night out. I ate here multiple times and the food varied. Some times it was good, some times the meat was way too salty, and the last time I got very soggy naan that was like melted glue. my cousins traditional arabic wedding was held here. the party was women's only and the hall made sure there was no male workers there during the party. the haul is absolutely gorgeous with the most beautiful detailing. we had the curtains closed and it was even better than with them opened! there is an elevator that takes you upstairs to a beautiful roof (that you can seat guests), two private rooms for the bride and a big bathroom. owner was really nice and accommodating to any of our requests. great food great drinks and most importantly impeccable service. would a hundred percent recommend this haul. read more
