The blueberry streusel cheesecake pancakes were indulgent and decadent. It was fluffy, rich, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The risotto frutti di mare was flavorful and well-executed, with a great seafood-to-risotto balance, and the mango mimosa was refreshing and smooth, adding the perfect tropical touch to brunch. Recently dined here for a birthday celebration. Private room for approximately 25 people. Nice ambiance, room with a view of Jamaica Bay. Our group had the Sunday Brunch menu. Our appetizer came as a cheese tasting tray and "French passed" apps. The French passed apps were tasty but we only got one of each. While they are meant to be "small bites" we could have passed on the cheese platter and had more of those. Good options for the entrees on that menu. I had the bolognese which was good. The menu also included a cake which was nicely decorated and moist. This place does have valet parking. Service OK. read more

Amazing, amazing. Amazing! I can write many things but I'll only write two things The waiter named PURE is great. My brother knows his Italian dishes and listening him to saying the Italian dish names are entertaining. He really knows his stuff and everything he recommended was AMAZING! lol We couldn't even eat the entree. So I took my lady here for her birthday dinner and I know she is bougie and it made her even more bougie lol. I didn't have the greatest plan but this place made me look like the master planner lol. Ambiance was nicely crafted even the vestibule was decorated elegantly lol. Russo's on the bay I now see the translation into the restaurant. Vetro provided EXCELLENT customer service from the moment I submitted my inquiry for my event to the actual date. Our sales manager name was Meena and she was very professional and friendly through the entire planning process. She provided us with a walk through to give us 3 options of space for our event date and estimated party of 40. We loved the decor of the Wine Cellar and loved how she would set up the room for our event. The day of the event Meena provided updates via phone after setup until our guests were seated. I had to enter after the guests were seated because I was bring the guest of honor for his surprise entrance. I felt comfortable that the Vetro staff was reliable enough to handle everything without my presence. The manager "PJ" was very welcoming and helped us to get our slideshow on the TVs in the Wine Cellar. I love the fact that they already have a laptop in the room synced to the TV and all you need is to provide the pictures or slideshow. All guests were impressed by the table setting and personalized menu with food options that included vegetarian options. Everything was timed well with our head waiter who handled everything with ease and worked hard to accommodate all requests from the guest. Everyone enjoyed the food and loved the cake that comes with your package. Due to dietary restrictions I got the Tuxedo cake which was simple and delicious. My cousin was so impressed she is considering Vetro for her dad's 80th birthday in the next few months. I will definitely refer her to Meena who she is already impressed with her planning skills. Our waiter Mario came right over to hand us menus and read the specials. He took our drink over which was comprised of the cucumber fresco and the huckleberry lemonade. They were so light and amazing. We then ordered the Russo's risotto bites. Perfectly fried and served with a touch of pomodoro sauce. They were amazing. We then ordered the chicken Griglia. Perfectly grilled chicken served on a freshly made arugula salad, baby mozzarella balls, and heirloom tomatoes. I ordered the chicken Toscana. It was amazing. Perfectly fried chicken. We ordered the cream spinach which is so good and the Parmesan truffle fries. The food was amazing. For dessert we had Mario choose for us. We had the cheesecake and chocolate truffle cake. We had a double espresso and a cappuccino. Oh my word!! It was a slice of heaven. The manager came over to check on us and Mario our waiter stayed on top of us but not overbearing. The price was right at the end of the night. We picked up our to go order at the front. If you are looking for a location to schedule an event I would highly recommend Vetro. I am associated with the Danielle Kirrane Foundation and we scheduled our Cigar Night fundraiser there. The roof restaurant was fantastic. We had approximately 100 people in attendance and everyone was comfortable. Our event was held on a Monday and for the last 3 days I have been hearing great compliments about the venue. The food was fantastic and plentiful, and the service was excellent. The bartenders, wait staff, bussers and servers were professional and friendly. The management and his staff could not have been better while we were setting up. I'm disappointed I didn't take names and pictures because they all deserve a Big Thanks from us for a great event! read more

This review is for Brunch. I was given the task of organizing a family party for fifteen guests. Vetro was able to accommodate our group at two consecutive tables. Vetro has a three course menu set at $38 per person. A Bloody Mary or a Mimosa is included in the price. I ordered Lemon Shrimp as my app, and Orrechiette with Sausage as my main. Both were delicious. Tiramisu was the choice of dessert and it was good. My guest's all agreed that it was Vetro was a great deal. Valet parking is a big plus. read more

I attended a private event on Saturday afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor, setting and venue. The service was outstanding, the food was tasty and the lighting was perfect. I had to knock off a star because it was HOT. Everyone was extremely warm during the entire event. Perhaps the hot hors d'oeuvres buffet, Sun gleaming via the glass walls and ceilings made it extra hot but it was a bit too warm for everyone. Perhaps the lower levels and/or later event when the sun isn't beaming would have felt more comfortable. Overall, it was. A lovely place in a great location with street parking and valet.
