Recently dined here for a birthday celebration. Private room for approximately 25 people. Nice ambiance, room with a view of Jamaica Bay. Our group had the Sunday Brunch menu. Our appetizer came as a cheese tasting tray and "French passed" apps. The French passed apps were tasty but we only got one of each. While they are meant to be "small bites" we could have passed on the cheese platter and had more of those. Good options for the entrees on that menu. I had the bolognese which was good. The menu also included a cake which was nicely decorated and moist. This place does have valet parking. Service OK.

Amazing, amazing. Amazing! I can write many things but I'll only write two things The waiter named PURE is great. My brother knows his Italian dishes and listening him to saying the Italian dish names are entertaining. He really knows his stuff and everything he recommended was AMAZING! lol We couldn't even eat the entree. So I took my lady here for her birthday dinner and I know she is bougie and it made her even more bougie lol. I didn't have the greatest plan but this place made me look like the master planner lol. Ambiance was nicely crafted even the vestibule was decorated elegantly lol. Russo's on the bay I now see the translation into the restaurant. Ok, so the front staff, even the buss boy was friendly and on point with the attention to detail and making you feel like family or a frequent customer. I will be back for brunch and for dinner with the parents. I know I will regret it but they will love it lol.

Vetro provided EXCELLENT customer service from the moment I submitted my inquiry for my event to the actual date. Our sales manager name was Meena and she was very professional and friendly through the entire planning process. She provided us with a walk through to give us 3 options of space for our event date and estimated party of 40. We loved the decor of the Wine Cellar and loved how she would set up the room for our event. The day of the event Meena provided updates via phone after setup until our guests were seated. I had to enter after the guests were seated because I was bring the guest of honor for his surprise entrance. I felt comfortable that the Vetro staff was reliable enough to handle everything without my presence. The manager "PJ" was very welcoming and helped us to get our slideshow on the TVs in the Wine Cellar. I love the fact that they already have a laptop in the room synced to the TV and all you need is to provide the pictures or slideshow. All guests were impressed by the table setting and personalized menu with food options that included vegetarian options. Everything was timed well with our head waiter who handled everything with ease and worked hard to accommodate all requests from the guest. Everyone enjoyed the food and loved the cake that comes with your package. Due to dietary restrictions I got the Tuxedo cake which was simple and delicious. My cousin was so impressed she is considering Vetro for her dad's 80th birthday in the next few months. I will definitely refer her to Meena who she is already impressed with her planning skills. Thanks for a wonderful event and I will definitely be back to the restaurant for brunch or dinner soon.

What a beautiful spot with some bomb a$$ food!!!!! Had a small gathering here with my family and they knocked it out the park. The minute you walk in youre welcomed by beautiful smiling faces happily serving you. They brought us to our seats on e confirming our reservation, We had a room to ourselves due to the party size, which basically comes with your own waiters and waitresses which is top notch. Quietly tucked away in our room my entire family enjoyed quite the amazing menu while having unlimited top notch alcohol with our package. From appetizers to entry Vetro hit the mark. Plates meant to fill ya up and tantalize ya taste buds i couldnt wait for the next course each time. Any event or even just for dinner Vetro is def on our go to list of event spaces.

This is a classy Italian establishment perfect for an outdoor Sunday brunch in Howard Beach overlooking the marina on Jamaica Bay. The service is refined and polite. The brunch is fresh, filling, and affordable. Standouts on the menu were the salmon scampi and the blueberry streusel cheesecake pancakes. One mimosa was complimentary.

A warm and intimate date night with my love. It's my 2nd time coming here and it always feels calm and peaceful the cuisine is Italian and generally high quality. My favorites are the dessert menu it's just satisfy your taste buds. The truffle Mac & cheese is amazing as well. Service is one of the strong suits here. Each server ensures everything's going just smoothly. I can't wait to visit again.

    Private room was spacious

The food was fabulous. The service was flawless. The service for brunch was spot on. Three hours everything served like a 5 star restaurant.

I made a reservation on Open Table for 6:45pm. I arrived a little late and the front desk was fine with it. They checked our jackets and walked us into the lounge. The lounge was nicely decorated for the holidays. I was going to order us some drinks, but they quickly picked us up and brought us to our table. Our waiter Mario came right over to hand us menus and read the specials. He took our drink over which was comprised of the cucumber fresco and the huckleberry lemonade. They were so light and amazing. We then ordered the Russo's risotto bites. Perfectly fried and served with a touch of pomodoro sauce. They were amazing. We then ordered the chicken Griglia. Perfectly grilled chicken served on a freshly made arugula salad, baby mozzarella balls, and heirloom tomatoes. I ordered the chicken Toscana. It was amazing. Perfectly fried chicken. We ordered the cream spinach which is so good and the Parmesan truffle fries. The food was amazing. For dessert we had Mario choose for us. We had the cheesecake and chocolate truffle cake. We had a double espresso and a cappuccino. Oh my word!! It was a slice of heaven. The manager came over to check on us and Mario our waiter stayed on top of us but not overbearing. The price was right at the end of the night. We picked up our to go order at the front. Overall, we were very pleased and if you have not dined her yet, you're missing out on a gem of a place in Howard Beach. Vetro doesn't miss a beat. We will definitely be back.

    Two very happy customers.

Food was excellent The Pork Chop Milanese is one of the best pork dishes I have ever had. The seafood risotto was perfectly cooked and the baked clams were classic. Then went up to the rooftop and danced all night long. Great place.

They didn't tell me we weren't allowed balloons, but they let us bring in one set for the table.

We had a wonderful 80th birthday lunch for my dad for 12 people at 2pm. We didn't know it was a Santa Brunch but they very quickly made accommodations for my mom's request for the ala carte menu. Everything was very good, server was extremely attentive and my dad had a special day surrounded by his immediate family. Some of us still had the brunch menu while 4 chose from the ala carte.

I've been dining at Vetro for years. I'm no longer local but the service, ambience, and food are all top quality so I'm happy to travel knowing I'll have a great experience. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially the Manager, Tele. Vetro is a real gem and very unique- it's a beautiful space and seems more upscale, but not pretentious or ridiculously priced, it has multiple levels and can hold events while offering regular diners brunch and dinner, and it's situated along the water so you almost feel like you're on a vacation when dining there.

You can debate the nuances of each-- Centurion's food is better, Capital One's is larger and has a cheese monger, Ess a Bagel, and better cocktails. But compared to the sort of lounges that don't have their own bathrooms and offer nothing more than some bananas and cereal, you really could do worse. The Sapphire lounge in LGA is larger and prettier, but they pretty much offer the same amenities. The bathrooms have been clean every time I've visited, save for one time. The menu isn't vast but there's a little buffet station with fresh fruit and hot food, as well as a made to order menu with full sized portions. Sometimes the food has been quick, and other times it has taken a while, so you really should give yourself some buffer time if you're trying to get something from the made to order menu. The food is fine. I've visited enough times to say that the folks who work here have been so warm and nice each time, checking in and asking guests how they're doing. Garbage is cleaned up immediately, so it's a pretty well oiled machine in there. You can bring up to 2 guests and any additional guests cost just $27 more, which I'd say it's worth it, particularly if you have a long layover and will have a couple of drinks.

While the entrance is bright and inviting, the inside is dull and somber; the bathroom does not have proper lighting nor a container for the paper towels so it looks like one of an abandoned warehouse. The food options consisted of a salad, instant miso soup, a protein, a starch, and a cooked greens, which does hit all the food groups but is not one that I would seek to spend my time at the airport prior. The drink option was more inviting though, from fresh fruit juices to a reasonable spirit, wine, and beer selection. The space is really cramped with lots of people, which is strange because some areas are partially blocked off, and the access to this lounge is severely restrictive to block out credit card access. Pros: Services are far superior than many A1 lounges that I have been to unless you're flying La Premiere by Air France. Other than that it was way better than Emirates itself and I an Emirates Platinum Member I must admit this. The decor feels like vintage dinner with a modern touch, it's almost like old Hollywood glamour. Many dishes are made a la carte, a true definition of fine dining. Several Chefs and Sous Chef are eager to cook you whatever you want with a smile. There are several seating areas that you can use to enjoy your delicious 5 course meals and drinks. Who can forget the quiet room with several 0 gravity chairs for a relaxing massage before your flight. Everyone was beyond polite and attentive. Honestly, this lounge makes both the AMEX & regular DL lounges feel very basic. I was pleasantly surprised. The experience is far better & above what you will experience in the cabin. Once you come you will have no desire to leave. It's therapeutic & magical. There's something for everyone there. Most importantly it's never as crowded as the regular lounge. Cons: Although everyone is super friendly and attentive. It almost feels like disingenuous & rehearsed. Everyone is repeating the same lines as if they were told what to say which caused me to question and or doubt that they really felt that way. This experience never gets old, it's like adrenaline rushing through your veins, it takes you so high that every time you get on the actual flight DL one cabin, you feel a sense of disappointment. Overall, I never want my flight to be canceled delayed so badly when I am in this lounge. The attention to detail is world class and mastered by the most hardworking patrons. It's truly the 4 seasons of ALL US Airlines lounges. Just when I thought they couldn't compete with Emirates and/or Qatar, DL one lounge surpasses them. It's the only reason why I never regretted paying premium for DL one seat. I just wish that level of service continues in the cabin.

The food on the buffet looked and sounded delicious but suffered from sitting out too long. The food was certainly a step way up from the usual Delta Lounge, but I would in no way compare it to a good fine dining restaurant on the outside. Highlights were the massage chairs and facials. The process for signing up is confusing and the wait can be long if you come at the wrong time, but if you have enough time it's definitely worth it. Other than that, it was reminiscent of a Centurion Lounge - spacious but crowded, with a decent food and drink selection. Nice for an airport lounge, but still an airport lounge.
