I had ordered flowers online from FTD and the bouquet that I was sent initially started to die within four days so I called back as a fresh flower should last longer. That bouquet was sent from another nearby florist. FTD replaced my order with a bouquet from Deb's flower market, and I was blown away. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous and they did such a beautiful job with the arrangement. Day four and they are still just as beautiful as they were the day they were delivered. I have constantly been disappointed with flowers ordered online (not through Deb's) and now have my go to place, Deb's flower market. I have twice ordered from Deb's Flower Market (aka Pleasant Hill Florist). The first order was not problematic: I made the order a month in advance, and when the desired date came my flower order was delivered without a problem. This order was for my anniversary. The second order, however, was quite problematic: Just like the first order, I made it a month in advance, and it was meant to go to the same person and same address. When the delivery date came, my recipient did not receive the flowers. This order was/is for Valentine's Day! I attempted to call Deb's Flower Market--the phone number (apparently a wireless number) immediately goes to an out of service-sounding message. There is no way to leave a voicemail. The website has no email address and no clear way to contact them. Going to a different website (https://www.debsflowermarket.com) does provide me with a support contact form, which I have just filled out. I will amend this review if they do in fact respond to me. If no response, I will have to do a chargeback. In summary, Deb's Flower Market seems to be hit-or-miss and isn't so great with communication. I'd love to support a local shop but I need to be able to rely on it to actually deliver my order. [AMENDED UPDATE] The day after I wrote this, my recipient received their order with a note from the company stating they made an error in their delivery. However, the company remains unreachable by phone or email. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I've been going to Deb's for years for special occasions where mediocre flowers from the grocery store won't cut it, and their arrangements are always spectacular. Birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, sympathy, you name it, they will have the perfect flowers. Recipients always comment on how beautiful they are, and how they're blown away by how long the flowers last! This past Mother's Day, I went in the day before to scope out flowers for my mom. As expected, they were absolutely slammed by shlubs like myself who waited until the last minute to order flowers, but they were very friendly and efficient in working through the long line. Out front they had an incredible Mother's Day Special on display, but it was out of my budget, so I just requested something along those lines at a specific price point I was comfortable paying, and they said no problem, come pick them up tomorrow morning. When I arrived on Mother's Day to pick up my arrangement, I did NOT expect them to bring me anything close to how perfect these flowers were with what I paid. I seriously thought they might have made a mistake. My mom was ecstatic to receive these, and as usual they lasted for weeks. I've been twice and both times was beyond pleased and walked out uplifted from the experience. First, we utilized the amazing selection of flowers for our wedding in June. It was outdoors in Briones and we were on a tight budget. We opted to purchase our own flowers and have friends make small table bouquets and then order boutaineers made. They were so friendly and took their time helping us pick out complimentary colors while also giving us space to make our own choices and celebrating them. The second time was last week for a bouquet for a friend who just released an album. The show was night sky themed and I had a vision of black roses. Luckily, valentines day is near and they had every color of roses imaginable! They made a gorgeous night sky bouquet and wrapped it in burlap and blue ribbon. Jose designed the floral arrangement for our urn. He used a lot of orchids and succulents on the display. It was very lush and beautiful. We were so shocked with how beautiful everything was. It looked soooo nice!!! My mom was really impressed with the heart floral display. There were dozens and dozens of white roses. Everything was so fresh and so beautiful. The roses were the big white expensive roses too. They used so many roses- there were probably well over 10 dozen roses!! The sprays were also so beautiful. The flowers stayed so fresh for so long. We went a week later, and it was STILL THERE! Everything was perfectly in tact. I was so surprised that after a week later, all the flowers still looked so beautiful. My mom was just so happy and so pleased with how fresh and plentiful the flowers were. They were very prompt with the delivery. It was just well put together- the colors flowed and looked so nice. I highly recommend Deb's Flower Market. The flowers were just so gorgeous and lasted so long. During such a difficult time in our life, we really wanted everything to look perfect and go smoothly. For pretty much a whole in the wall, this place is ok. We initially went to Safeway across the street, but none of the flowers were to our liking. We ended up coming here and like others have said, some of the flowers appeared wilted and not cared for. We did walk into the fridge area where even then, some of the flowers seemed like they were dying. As a last minute, we did pick one with a vase but asked if some of the dead ones could be replaced. She was nice enough to do so. The price was a bit steep to my preference $51, but it was a last minute flower vase for a work anniversary. Service was good about a 3.5-4. She didn't talk much or offer alternatives, but she did add a bow to the vase. read more

First, I'll say I gave 2 stars for the fact that they are delivering flowers during this critical time! And the fact that they arrived at 9:04 pm! Is not influencing my review!! The fact that they look NOTHING like the bouquet selected, which were intentionally picked due to the purple colors, and the fact that when you spray paint white roses to make them appear to be purple, is what prompted me to write this review. I just found out my great grandmother was really ill and in the hospital so I decided to come here and get a nice, yet affordable vase with beautiful flowers, including roses. They gave me a great deal and even put a nice little decorative bow on the vase. They also offer little cards to stick into the flowers such as "get well soon, happy birthday, happy anniversary, etc" and they're free so you can write a little message while you're paying.
