Friendly, fast and professional care during my visit today. Dr Woods and Parker (the medical assistant) assessed my needs quickly and provided a solution in a friendly and professional manner. Also the receptionist at this location is always extremely customer driven. She greets you with a smile and processes your info quickly. This lab's handling of bodily fluids breaches specimen integrity. Patients must use a dirty bathroom for collection and put their samples along side others in a filthy in-wall box. Older woman at the check-in desk with blonde hair and glasses somehow managed to pull herself away from her IPhone and grabbed my sample from the bathroom without my consent, nor was she wearing gloves, angrily carried it back to the lab when I questioned that there was already a urine sample from someone else in the box. Bathroom was so dirty and out of towels. I also told the same older blonde woman there were no towels. Ignoring all proper protocols, she piled a hunk of loose paper towels on top of the dispenser. Instead of pulling out a sanitary towel for use, every patient is subjected to blood, urine, fecal or any infectious disease left behind from all bathroom users, because she was too lazy to open the locked dispenser, and put the towels in properly. NO sanitary protocols are in place or followed there. I called William Young about this and also about technician Aigne Glifford not knowing how to draw blood. I experienced severe pain with a "butterfly" needle for the entire draw; telling her to stop and large hematoma formed afterword. I get bloodwork often and never experienced this level of pain or bruising from absolute INCOMPETENCE. William said the facility physician director would call back about this horrible experience. She never called and I left a 2nd unreturned message for William. Apparently this must be acceptable and normal operation for them. USE THIS LAB AT YOUR OWN RISK! read more

I don't even wanna leave that bad of a review because I've met with another doctor here that was very kind and helpful. But I saw a doctor today that will make me never go back. I went to urgent care because I've been dealing with severe vertigo and I go in hardly able to walk on my own and having to keep my eyes closed because the dizziness and headache was too strong. When Margie Hall walks into the room I'm immediately met with a bad tone. I shrug it off cus I deal with rude people all of the time. I begin to tell her what was going on and I mention that I had been seen here a few days prior for a similar reason and she cuts me off to say "yeah you were just here so why are you here now". I kinda get taken aback bc wtf but I keep going and mind you my eyes are closed bc of the lights and the dizziness and I'm only opening them for a few seconds at a time. She cuts me off again and says "can you open your eyes while you're talking to me". I start to explain why but that being the second time she cut me off and 3rd time giving me attitude, I said "actually I don't need this I'm going somewhere else" and I start to wobble out. She tried to physically stop me by holding the door closed and I open it anyway. She then says 'okay we need security she hit me with the door" like huh?? I walk out calmly and take my sweet time bc she was obviously not calling security I didn't do anything lol and if there are cameras In the hall then we could show that I did not hit her or even look at her bc my eyes were closed. not to mention she saw my nephew and treated him and my mom and sister like shit as well. I've never called to complain about a doctor I just shrug it off and keep it pushing but this was ridiculous. Especially considering how sick I am. read more

The African American woman at the front desk is really, really nasty. I came in first thing in the morning. Not in a hurry, just needed to be seen. I put my name on the waiting list and sat there for over two hours. She was rude about my name in front of everyone, then reprimanded me for writing my name in cursive on the waiting list. I mentioned I had never been told to simply print my name. She came right back at me and said "it literally says that on the clipboard in front of you." Girl I'm in pain; you really think I'm reading the guidelines of the urgent care sign in sheet? Meanest woman in healthcare around here and drags St. E's name through the mud. There's also a mask requirement in this office and she wears her mask under her nose. Everyone else at this urgent care does a great job. Got some antibiotics and I'm feeling good as new. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! BEWARE! Terrible service. I signed in and they said the wait was 2 hours. We checked in finally after waiting for 2 hours to be checked in and they said we could wait in the car to get a phone call to be called back, so we did. Once we got the phone call, we came in shortly after and still waited another 2 hours. Come to find out, they called our name seconds after they called us. Ridiculous. I went in to get a doctor's note for work. I had severe body aches that forced me to leave my job not 2 hours into an 11 hour shift. They did strep/flu/covid tests, which all came back negative, and I also had no fever. I told the doctor I needed the note until after Christmas, because I'm never sick for a day. It hits me like a truck for a couple weeks. She literally looked me in the eye and said "but you're not sick". I was shocked. I told her I *literally* left work due to the pain. She shrugged it off, and did not give me a note. Not sure what her name was, but she was a short hispanic woman. She should be ashamed of herself, telling someone who is in pain, that they aren't sick. So after a $75 copay and being at urgent care for 3 hours, I now have to see my PCP in January to get this work note. I am disgusted. read more

The young woman who works at the front desk was very unprofessional and rude. I had digital copies of my insurance card and she refused me care in an urgent situation. Also refused to escalate to higher up and bobbed her head around as she gave me an entitled attitude. If you are not a compassionate person - you probably shouldn't work in healthcare. I would not recommend going here as you will not be cared for properly. read more

To start- this review is for the non-urgent care practice next door. I have always been appreciative of the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff, plus the non-judge mental attitude of the Doctors and their staff. Whatever your issue is, they are here to help. Whenever possible I see with of the Dr. Bowlin as they have consistently for YEARS been proactive with my family's health concerns in a way that makes me feel they are primary care team-mates, not simply service providers. I am always seen promptly and never have crazy long waiting times unless I had to go to the urgent care for some reason. Nor do I ever feel rushed, like I am just one patient in a line of patients that need to be plowed through. read more

My son is sick with the flu- it takes a considerable amount of motivation to get up from the bed, get yourself dressed and actually go out into the world to get to the dr for care. At the very least, any staff at an urgent care facility should sympathize with how sick a person is feeling and treat them with a fair amount of compassion and dignity. Unfortunately the lady at the desk here- made no attempt to hide that she was annoyed and inconvenienced by the very fact that my son walked thru the door. Coming in sick caused enough loathing but baby when she found out he had misplaced his insurance card...you would've thought his rent was due and she just caught him at that track! So my son went to his car and sat for more than an hour tracking down his insurance number ... with a fever... with a splintering sinus headache and persistent nausea... he finally managed to get his information. When he took it back in to give it to her, she was literally angry that he came back in. I don't know what could be happening in a persons life that would make them want to be so mean and hateful to a sick person simply trying to get care but I'll pray for the front desk staff here at this facility. Life is tough but you're in a position where you could make all the difference to someone that is suffering. You should consider how you would want to be treated. read more

My experience was not what I expected. I have asthma and was experiencing difficulty with breathing so went to this Urgent Care. The desk clerk was polite, courteous and promptly recorded my information..then after about 5 minutes, I was taken to an exam room where I waited for about 30 minutes to be seen by a medical professional. I was not given any treatment and was advised to go to Hospital Emergency room if had difficulty breathing!! So after an hour and & $35 copay...my condition was disappointingly not improved! read more

I don't recommend coming here if you are short on time. They are very slow and do not take people in order. I had a very sick 6 year old with a 104 degree temperature and they took a lady with a stubbed toe ahead of my child when we were here before them. There are several other choices in urgent cares in this area and I won't be back here. read more

Curious why the review I left yesterday is no longer here, since it clearly states on the site that the facility cannot alter or remove reviews. I asked for two tests when I walked in-strep, because my throat hurt, and flu, because my fiancé just had it last week. I am not opposed to a covid test. I've had two previously. But there is nothing wrong with exploring other options. I was told the flu is no longer a thing, which I thought was odd. I did agree to all 3 tests. The doctor LAUGHED when he got my positive covid results, as did the nurse. 100% unprofessional and dismissive. Wish I could rate a zero. read more

ive never had an issue with this urgent care until this evening. we took my 8 year old son there this evening for a deep cough and high running fever. the lady who took his temperature struggled giving him directions. we had to explain to her that he had a delay (he's on the spectrum). we finally got into the room. they took his blood pressure and heart rate which was fine. they finally tested him for strep Covid and flu all of which were negative. my wife mentioned he was having breathing problems as wel. the doctor mentioned that his oxygen levels were lower than what they needed to be. he was at like 95 and he said a trip to the ER would be 92. long story short of it all we were told by the urgent care doctor thet he couldn't put his finger on it. No prescription for anything. seriously??? 50.00 for us to be told the doctor couldn't put his finger on it. seriously disappointed st es. youre better than this! read more

I would not go back there if I was dying. I felt very discriminated against. I took my son who is 27 yrs old and has Down Syndrome in for a sports physical (not an annual physical). I told them I had the form ready and they put us on the list and we waited for 30 min.. We were called up and they charged my card, then they proceeded to tell me that the people in the back told them that they couldn't do a special needs sports physical that I would have to see my primary doctor. It put their employees at the front desk in a bad position and my son was quite disappointed, he was convinced that no physical meant no sports. I am thinking about leaving St Elizabeth all together. After 2 encounters with the front desk staff, I have to say I am not impressed. When I walked and stood in front of the desk, all 3 of them didn't acknowledge me for over a minute. It was like they were waiting to see who would give in and help me. When I gave them an annoyed look, only then did one of them say "may I help you". I called to the clinic to talk with the front desk about something regarding a past visit and she was rushed, condescending and rude. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. And staff at the Union urgent care location a few weeks ago., I had fallen two days before, cut my hand, thought that was all, but then I started having pain in my wrist and ribs area., I called to see if they were indeed open, and my injury could be attended too., Cleanest Doctors facility i have ever been too. Front desk young lady was very pleasant, she got me signed in very quickly, then nurse came out to get so soon I never even sat down, another nurse checked me in, took vitals, both were so nice, made me relax and really glad i came., Then Dr. Suzanne came in, perfect doctor. She really made me at ease. Order X rays. The techs there were great too, No broken bones, bruised badly inside, my cut was healing fine, but the treatment was so good, had i been really broken up, i know i would have been in excellent care., If i ever need after hours care, and might as i am a senior citizen, this us where I will go., Unless it is something they at St. E urgent care cannot tend too, no more ER visits for me., Although no complaints there either, been there many times, first rate as far as i am concerned., read more

I pulled my back a few weekends ago, So my main office wasn't open, this was the closest urgent care. I arrived shortly after they had opened. I checked in and called back all within about 10mins. And there was someone ahead of me as well. Once I got back to the room the nurse came in within about 4 mins, seriously it was that quick. She was still taking my vitals when the Dr walked in to see me. So you could tell they were on their game. The Doctor checked a few things out, got my a steroid shot and on my way quickly. I was expecting thinking id be there an hour or more, I done and on my way home within 30mins total. But I don't think it's always that way. They were telling my husband and I this place is sometimes under staffed, and that Doctors and Nurses from a few areas come in and help out. So I'd keep that in mind if they aren't always at this level. read more

I agree with the previous reviewer. This place is horrible and I would not recommend it. They are very slow and the male doctor (R.P.)we had was rude, kept saying we could go to a regular doctor. My son was quite ill and he made us feel like we were wasting his time. Since he prescribed an antibiotic, I guess he contradicted himself. Plan on staying at least 2 hours minimum. I was 1 hour in the waiting area and 1 hour in the patient room. At 1 hour 50 minutes I opened the door and asked how much longer. I wasn't rude in my tone. The woman was nice and said I was next. I guess the doctor heard me ask and didn't appreciate this. He walked up and talked to me about my condition while I was standing at the door, did a 30 second exam, and told me to keep taking Alleve. I understand having to wait at an Urgent Care, but to have a doctor who is clearly irritated that I asked how much longer to allow that to affect his professional behavior is unacceptable. read more

Visited here on a Friday pm around 5. There were 2 people waiting, one of whom had 2 small children. No one at the front desk, so I signed in (no names on the list ahead of me). Both folks waiting said they had been sitting there for over an hour and that the front desk person, the last time she was there, had been extremely rude. After about 15 min, a girl and her father came out and stood at the desk to pay. They ended up standing there 16 min before they finally left a note and left. Another couple came out and sat down, waiting to pay. One of the people that was there when I came in finally got up and knocked on the door to the back area several times and asked to speak to the office manager, who was not available. A few more people came in who were questioning whether they should stay because nobody was being seen or tended to. I was having chest wall pain (non-cardiac) and sharp pain in my back, but by this time, the lobby was so full of angry people and so chaotic, I decided to leave. I had been there for 35 min and not once saw a staff member out front. Really unprofessional and dangerous practice for a medical facility of any kind. read more
