I told her for the 3rd time we cant do weekends for estimates. And that we need a morning like 9 am appointment. She seemed put off by it and offered 9-10 some morning. I told her that we need to work and cant wait around for Gordon or Cody for an hour to give us an estimate. She said she'd call them and call me back in 10 or 15 minutes. Never heard from her. These people at this company clearly get leads and play games, juggling potential customers into time slots that are only convenient to themselves and will drop you if they feel like it for personal reasons, a more expensive job comes through after promising you, or they want to sleep in past 9 am on a weekday. They ground down the stump so you almost wouldn't know a tree had ever been there. They left an appropriate amount of saw dust and chips on top so that when the ground settles there will not be a hole. They left the yard spotless. The job was done in a reasonable amount of time. I could tell they valued their workers and treated them very respectfully. I noticed the workers shut down at appropriate times for hydration breaks and lunch. I had two magnolias that had extensive damage from the wet snow during a snow event in January. I wasn't sure there would be much left of my beautiful magnolias after all the broken branches were removed. But...Bartlett did an amazing job. There are some obvious bare spots that should fill in eventually. So their work is amazing. I contacted Bartlett via email. I received a pretty quick reply and set up an appointment for an estimate. Todd came out and I had the estimate within a day or so. It took a little while to finalize a date to do the work. Bartlett is good, but I don't think they can control the weather. I was a little anxious when Todd said he would not be on site for the job. However, the three guys that came out were indeed "knowledgeable" as Todd had assured me. They didn't seem to have a problem with me asking questions and made sure I was happy with the final result. A short time after I received a call from the office at Bartlett to make sure things went well. Seriously, who gives that kind of customer service anymore? The price was reasonable for the quality of the work they did. Plus, at 64, neither me nor my husband were going to climb up a 30 foot magnolia to remove broken branches.
