Absolutely gorgeous little park where you can go and enjoy a small beach, picnic, birdwatch or just have a relaxing day. Don't overlook this beautiful hidden gem.

Nice, quiet, and peaceful park in the mornings. Can see wildlife there and relax. Saw some dolphins close to shore. Excellent place to decompress.

    The sunset is amazing

They don't have clear water and right where the water is when it's high tide there is a big border of sea weed

It's beautiful and extremely quiet here. A tiny beach you can literally see from one side to the other, ringed by...are they mangroves? with enough picnic table and bench facilities for anyone who might want one. This is my first time here so I don't know if it's usually this mellow, but on Black Friday there were enough people that it didn't feel scary-deserted but few enough that it felt peaceful. Simply put: I love living in Gainesville but this kinda thing is worth driving for. (I read a book and knitted, but people were swimming so I guess that's allowed too.) I did walk in the water which FYI is way safer than the microbeach at Cedar Key bc no oyster shells.

Secluded little beach hides away at the dead end of green key road. The beach it small but nice there are a few area to grill, showers and a play area for children. There's also a nice dock you can walk and take in nature's beautiful sights.

Omg so freaking pretty!!!!! Such a gem what brought me here was the wooden boardwalk and let me tell you it is just the place to be when you need some silence

What a nice State Park! It's not clearly marked, so you need to keep your eyes peeled for Green Key Road. It look residential, but just keep driving and you'll dead end into the park! It costs $2 per car to park. Tip: to easily get your parking validation, drive up to the kiosk at the entrance of the park. Pay and get your hang tag, then you can drive and find your parking spot. Sometimes you have to park quite far away, so this method saves you quite a bit of walking. Once you enter the park, to your right is a very nice play area w/ a , very cold water, shower area. Over to left is a large clean restroom facility and a small pavilion where a concession stand is set up. Further towards the beach and to your left is a large pavilion with picnic tables. Further over to your left is a beach area that extends to the water. A swimming area is roped off, but it's very shallow, so it's more of a wading area. This was a really lovely park/beach and even when it was "crowded" it didn't feel like there were too many people there. A bonus was how friendly everyone was!

What a nice quiet park that was excellent to watch the sunset! Clean bathrooms and get this.....cold water from the water fountain! Very clean. Only two dollars to park.

I love this small beach in New Port Richey. It is quiet and clean. On most days there is also a hot dog stand! Definitely one of my favorites!

Beautiful, quaint little spot with a small beach and walking bridge. Really loved it and not crowded. A little hidden gem of a place.

Didn't see any wild flamingos there. As a matter of fact didn't see any wildlife there at all. As it's really just a dog park with some trails to walk your dogs. Not a great place to take photos. The dog park area is new & very nice thou if you have dogs. There is three different runs sectioned off, one for small dogs, one for large dogs & one for the med sized dogs.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles, warmth, and encouragement. I was personally a bit nervous since I hadn't paddle boarded much before, but every step of the way we felt supported and truly cared for. Hearing about the family's passion for protecting the ecosystem and the manatees, along with all the helpful tips they shared to optimize our experience, was absolutely incredible. When we got to the dock, we were guided so kindly - Mike even held our shoes in his truck for us! When he noticed me struggling a bit, he took the time to give me multiple tips on how to better move in the water and maneuver the board, which made such a difference. We saw so many manatees, including mama and baby pairs, which was unforgettable. When we returned to the dock and shared how excited we were, Mike went above and beyond once again by recommending another nearby location we could walk to where we ended up seeing even more manatees up close and personal. I would 10/10 recommend Manatee Paddle to anyone looking for an incredible manatee experience. I am so grateful to Mike and his family for making our day so special. THANK YOU!!
