There are a series of quilts in particular that are absolutely breath taking. One identifies the often forgotten York, and his role in navigating resulting in the known history of Lewis and Clark. I went on days when the museum entry was waived (Juneteenth and during the month of July it's free for educators). Western art is not so much my preferred style so I don't think I'd pay to visit, but if this is your jam, head on over! The galleries will take you two plus hours to check out, so it's a nice place to stop in when you're looking for something to do in St Petersburg.

we purchase our couch from the eldorado store in St. Petersburg FL back in January 2026 because we…read morelost everything in hurricane Milton and finally found an apartment until our home was repaired. the leather sofa which was quite expensive began losing its color on the arm. we contacted the store and was met with a very rude person who answered the phone. when we were getting no where we asked to speak to a manager her response was "you can talk to the cleaning lady, you'll still get the same response." so we drove over there talked to the manager who sent a tech who determined that yes, the arm needs replace. now they are saying the part is no longer available and your warranty is out. awful service and produc.

Lack of empathy and the wanting to make things right is just crazy. We have a sofa that was purchased a year ago and we put in a claim back in December. It's now approaching July and still no resolution. There is no way a warranty claim should take seven months! Two techs have came out and refused to do any work on the couch because it needs to be replaced. El dorado is still fishing for a company who would be willing to do it. That should not be on me. I have lost three days of work dealing with this issue and all they want to do is say sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry doesn't pay the bills. We are stuck with a couch now that looks like we picked it up from Good Will. Buyers beware take your business somewhere else. El Dorado should be ashamed how they treat their customers.
