I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ocean Blue Galleries Winter Park that I feel compelled to share to prevent others from being misled as I was. I visited the gallery last year while in Orlando and saw a beautiful lion painting (or so I thought). The lion holds deep personal significance for me as my late son's name, Ari, means "lion." Naturally, I was drawn to this piece. The salesperson, Lilli, immediately engaged me, took the artwork into a special dimly lit room, and passionately described the brushstrokes and how they come to life under different lighting. This entire presentation strongly implied that I was looking at an original painting. I didn't purchase it immediately but exchanged numerous emails with the gallery afterward. Twice in my emails, I referred to it as a painting. Not once did they correct me. Instead, they carefully avoided calling it a painting themselves, referring to it only as a "piece." After much deliberation, I purchased it and had it shipped internationally. When it arrived, I was shocked to find that the certificate described it as a limited-edition print, not an original painting. Feeling deceived, I reached out to the gallery, expecting them to take responsibility. Their response? They admitted they saw me calling it a painting in emails but didn't correct me because they "didn't want to offend me." When I requested a refund, they hid behind their 3-day no-refund policy, ignoring the fact that they misled me in the first place. When I pointed out that honesty should be a company policy, the gallery director, Nick, actually said "do truly strive to be honest and upfront with all of our clients". (As if honesty is optional, like a goal you work toward rather than a basic ethical standard.) Let's be real: If you have to "strive" to be honest, you're already admitting dishonesty is part of your business model. The Takeaway: Ocean Blue Galleries engages in misleading sales practices. They deliberately avoid clarifying details to secure sales. They will NOT take accountability once you realize the truth. If you're considering buying from them, triple-check what you're actually getting--because they certainly won't tell you upfront. read more

This gallery is super cool; they had a bunch of different pieces. they were featuring Dr. Seuss. All the paintings were original drawings that Dr. Seuss had drew. We were not allowed to take pictures of any of those, but we were able to take pictures of other art by other artist. If you're in the area and you get a chance, definitely stop and look at the drawings from Dr. Seuss they're absolutely phenomenal read more

This gallery is located in Downtown St Pete near Straub and Vinoy Parks. The pieces they have are stunning. It is such a good spot. One salesperson, in particular, is always so charming, Mallie. I think she is new, but she already is so helpful and knowledgeable. If you are visiting and want to see some beautiful art and sculptures, you should swing on by and pick up a souvenir for your home. read more

Strolled in here off the street and was a little bugged by the people who worked there following me around. It was annoying at first, but then they were telling us a bunch of stories about some of the art. They are REALLY knowledgeable!!! It definitely made up for that creepy feeling of someone following you. On a side note, they had a piece of David Bowie that was awesome and they also had a few pieces from Jim Carrey which was pretty awesome. read more

Wow. What a great Gallery. They carry glass, stainless sculpture, brass sculpture, amazing wood fish ,painting and photography. We were guided around the store by Guy. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We ended up buying a hand painted lighting fixture and a stainless steel sculpture. We even were offered a beer and a glass of wine. Beautiful Gallery. I discovered two artists that simply blew my mind Alexei Butirskiy and can you believe the Infamous Jim Carrey. Who knew? I want to give a shout out to William Gallant, who did an excellent job of explaining the art, and gave us a great tour. I was certainly impressed with the display and on the weekends there is typically an artist displaying their work, and you can get a personalized signature from the actual artist. The managers can be very rude. The staff is hit or miss. The artwork is average at best. Yes, they have some like Norton that are authentically good but most of the art there is canned commercialized department store-type hangings. The way the management treats the staff is quite evident and should not be witnessed by the customers but that is exactly what happens at times. The work is way overpriced and the sales process is a bit like a used car salesman kind of like the manager himself. Rude, pretentious and arrogant. I feel bad for the staff there and hope the management could go back to the drawing board for life's lessons. Stay away from the used car lot gallery in DTSP. read more

Stunning gallery right on Beach Drive. As we were looking around, Rick spent time with us, showing us various art work and sat us down to show it to us in the dim light room. Even though we weren't purchasing anything, he still took lots of time with us. They are 1 of only 2 galleries in the county to have the Jim Carey paintings. Def stop in here. read more

If i have zero star, I will give to them !. And yes, I know this store because my friend refers it to me. That's why I came to this store today to find something nice decorations for my new house. There were 2 sale persons in store. When I asked the price for the products; however, they responded back really rude and unprofessional. They asked me: how much do you have in your wallet? . Wait! What?! I could see they underestimated me and thought I did not have money to pay the products in their store. Beside that, there was a couple customer came after me. The sale person came to them, served them and introduced about the artists of products. I felt they treated really unfair to me. In fact, they did not do things like that to me, even though I needed their helps and came earlier than the other customer. I will never ever refer this store to anyone. I loved the piece we purchased. The customer service was less than stellar, Tad became rude when we called him to rectify the situation. I was told they would ship for free during the purchase negotiation however it became a purchase nightmare. I gave them a few days they could send the item based on my work schedule but when I returned home they informed me they were unable to do that. So to rectify the situation and protect my art work purchase I was inclined to pay an additional 81 dollars to have it overnighted via federal express . It ruined for me the experience of buying the wave and thus creating a stressed and unhappy customer experience. read more
