The nurse (younger with long blonde hair) was rushy and rude. She asked me about the symptoms that have been occurring and as I was explaining them, she interrupted me mid sentence asking questions about it. I have been treated multiple times for skin cancer; I have a condition that does not permit me to use mineral sunscreen on part of my face (this is an ongoing issue I am working through currently.). I spend a significant amount of time in my vehicle and after some research I decided the best course of action to mitigate more skin cancer would be to apply a ceramic film to the windows of my vehicle. In the State of Florida, you can get a medical exemption for applying a film to your vehicle windows. I completed the forms and on my fifth visit to see the PA, she told me she was not permitted to sign these. She stated that head doctor, Dr. Ruben Moreno does not permit anyone in his practice to complete this form. I find it interesting that a doctor who performs MOHS procedures will not approve and sign off on a document to allow me, or anyone with history of skin cancer (in addition to other skin problems) a safe preventative measure. I was told "thousands of people would want this exemption." (Yes! Why wouldn't they!?) I take that statement as an understanding it would impact this doctor's business - not in his favor. I want to provide some additional details with respect to the aforementioned. This exemption (HSMV 83390) has several conditions for autoimmune diseases listed; in addition, there is a box for "other", and it reads "... other medical condition which requires a limited exposure to light". It is a known fact that light, sunlight specifically produces UV which causes skin cancer. I am not requesting permission to "black out" or apply "limo tint" my vehicles, I am simply asking for a ceramic film with a light die that prevents harmful UV rays. Is Dr. Ruben Moreno's looking out for me as a patient, or himself for financial gain? Considering all the information - I firmly believe he is NOT looking out for me as a patient. read more

Awful care quality experience with the staff. I was 10 minutes late and they were talking about me and saying "Let's make them wait". Like I deserved to be punished for being late. I have been going to this dermatologist for a couples of months with some chronic skin probems to see a nurse practitioner who is clearly incompetent , Cheylr, I never saw a qualified medical doctor and the nurse practitioner was not able to help my skin issues despite many visits. eventually she said she was not able to help me. My mom booked an appointment for me and when we confirmed the appointment we were told I (16 years old) could go to my appointment by myself. I arrive the day of the appointment and the receptionist (a blonde lady) looked annoyed as if I interrupted her. I told her my info and when my appointment was. She then said I needed to come back with a parent or guardian since I'm under 18. I understand most doctors offices won't take patients under 18 without a parent but I was given information stating they would. I explained to her that over the phone I was told I could come alone she then told me "that's a lie" and rudely dismissed telling me to come back with a parent. At this point it was only 5 mins before my appointment so there was no way I could get my mom who has an illness which is why we asked in the first place. Overall the environment was nice but not the people. We called after to ask and the person on the phone was a bit nicer but also dismissed us. I'll be looking for a different dermatologist read more

I had an appointment with "Dr. Cooduvalli today (1-4-2022) at 2pm. Before I could finish the paperwork of a new patient, I was escorted into an office (letting me know I could finish the paperwork later) when the assistant introduced herself to me (sorry I missed her name). In a moment the Doctor came in and introduced herself. She put on gloves and confirmed why I was there. As the Dr. proceeded she thoroughly explained what she was doing, what to expect and why. She asked if I wanted/minded certain procedures (undressing, etc.). As she examined me and confirmed my suspicion, Dr. C performed a biopsy and reassured me that it would be handled promptly. Told me when to expect results and advised me that if the notification was not received to contact HER office. If not to contact HER office. The gentleness, warmth and compassion from this dermatologist was surprising and VERY welcome. I highly recommend Dr. Cooduvalli to any/every- one!! read more

On Mar. 3, 2023 I had my first appointment on Minton Rd in Palm Bay. I'm rating it 3 stars because the first person you see upon entering the facility, of course, is the receptionist. This woman was not at all friendly. She made me feel like I was interrupting her from whatever she was doing on the computer. She actually appeared irritated. I believe the receptionist sets the tone for the business and should make any person checking in her top priority. In my opinion.if she is unhappy with her position as a receptionist, she should seek another career. All other staff were friendly and professional. The PA and esthetician were thorough and informative. read more

Dr. Lee was a total joke. Since my second pregnancy I've had terrible itchy shins- it's been going on for over 15 months and I even had blood work done during that pregnancy. He basically told me good luck and tried telling me to use a specific lotion. I've already tried everything so clearly I was irritated. He didn't offer anything to further help me get to the bottom of it besides telling me to find a neurologist. On top of that he referenced me not allowing him to check "all of my areas" like two or three times. It was such a waste of my time and money and I could write so much more but hopefully my point is made. read more

I saw Physician's Assistant (PA) Janette Gluck to have some moles and skin tags examined and removed, and a wart and separate rash on my hand checked out. Janette is a huge asset to this dermatology office. She was extremely professional. Very knowledgeable. Fantastic bedside manner. We had a great chat while she was working on me, which helped distract me from the smell of my burning flesh from the cautery where skin tags, moles, and warts were removed. Very little pain after, only a small amount of discomfort. I'm 36 years old and I've seen a few dermatologists in different parts of the country where I have lived, and Janette provided the best dermatology experience I've had thus far. I would highly recommend her and by extension Florida Dermatology Associates, despite the Bible pushing (healing for the soul?) the owner is doing in the lobby. read more

This office has FOX news blasting in the waiting room with a sign that says "please don't change the channel". Can't you even go to the doctor these days without being accosted by politics? Not a very "patient-centered" practice if they want to agitate their patients with opinion news before they go into surgery. read more

So I had an interview here just a few weeks ago. I personally thought it went great but I guess management didn't like I wasn't married and had a kid. My complaint is the inappropriate comments she made on three different times throughout the interview. First off when Susan the office manager called me..she asked did I have scrubs to wear to the interview..so she could see how I looked in them. Second was she questioned why I said husband in one sentence and fiance in another ( none of your business..he's technically both we've been together 10 years ) and lastly she asked if my youngest son belonged to my current fiance. That is none of your business either..so on those few things..was her basis for not hiring me..wonder if I should advise with an attorney? read more

I was very positively impressed with PA Gluck: she was very professional, instilled confidence, and completed the procedure with very little discomfort on my part. We recently moved to the Palm Bay/Melbourne area and I needed a dermatologist especially to follow up on a scalp melanoma treated two years ago. During my appointment with Dr L. we discussed my history and I also noted a lesion on my scalp that I thought, given my experience, should be frozen. Dr L. (Frayed tie) checked me over and began to end the appointment. I reminded him of the lesion, he ordered his assistant to get the liquid nitrogen, she brought it in. I was surprised that it was not the pressurized canister but an open container of liquid with a long Qtip. He dabbed the lesion a couple of times, then reminded me of doing a frequent body check. I did not care for the doctor's appearance as his clothes looked like they were worn for years, not that I criticize people for wearing comfortable clothing which I wear; however, this is a doctor representing cleanliness, etc. Prior to retiring, I always wore appropriate clothes for the job and situation. Clearly, Dr.L thinks otherwise. Now to complete this review: upon going to another dermatologist last week, I find the lesion Dr L nonchalantly dismissed is a squamous cell carcinoma that must be excised. I'll let you decide whether you go to Florida Dermatology, but, certainly you won't find me there! read more
