She is happy to reply to questions and accommodate however she can. Since it's a newly renovated townhouse everything is new, which is nice. Pots and pans aren't scratched up. The townhouse itself is modern and nice, but not great for very small children. The owner welcomes kids and even has a high chair and plastic dish ware but the stairs are steep and uncarpeted(this wasn't false advertising, just wanted to let people know), dangerous for little legs. It would be great with older kids for sure! My review reflects the overall experience of staying at the place. The surrounding area is a little trashy. The Regal Oaks isn't really regal. The neighbors spend their afternoons fixing cars and smoking cigarettes on their stoops. They are perfectly nice but i hate cigarettes. When you walk around you notice everyone has reinforced door locks(I felt safe until i noticed that even though i have no reason to think these extra locks were needed ). And there is trash strewn around from the raccoons at night, one of which made it to the pool so the water slide was closed down to be cleaned and shocked. The pool water is a little murky looking and both my son and I developed a slight rash while we were there that disappeared after a week so it wasn't serious. We aren't sure if it was the pool or a sensitivity to detergent. The great perk is that it's really close to Disney and you can walk to "Old Town", which is also trashy but fun. There is a decent pizza place there too! If you aren't on air bnb and want to stay here, you can go directly through Regal Oaks and find different rentals there through them and don't have to worry about the air bnb process. It's perfect for older families(my father in law loved it) or young adults who want to be near Disney, a resort and in walking distance to some bars.

We are residents in the Reflections neighborhood and visit the Storey Lake Clubhouse pool often,…read moreespecially when our children are in town. Overall, we really enjoy the amenities, it's a great setup and something we value having so close to home. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were required to pay for our pass, and my husband ended up standing at the front desk for about 20 minutes because the staff member kept assisting other guests instead of completing his transaction. That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Story Lake is spread over a very large area as it has multiple communities. I could not find the Dog Park anywhere so I doubt they have one luckily shingle Creek regional Park is right next to it.

I booked 3 suites for a business trip and we stayed at the Barefoot Suites. You are never sure what…read moreyou are going to get when booking a rental in FL, but this is a great solid choice. I plan to book here again next year. This location is super close to the Gaylord Palms Convention Center where our business event took place. Also, across the street is Old Town. A little touristy area with shops, restaurants and weekend car shows. They played some load music there at times, but it quieted down before bedtime. Putting the t.v. on remedied the noise. This property appears to be broken into 2 resorts. One may have been a time share property and the other was a "hotel" operated by Choice Hotel properties. When you go to check in there are 2 different desks that handle your needs. Great points: Full kitchen, large bedroom, living room, and a patio. In room jacuzzi tub. Stacked washer and dryer with free laundry soap. Starter toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc and they will give you additional sundries at the check in desk upon request. Screened in patio balcony. Outdoors Heated pool & whirpool & playground. Free WiFi. If you have a Choice rewards membership, you earn points. Cons: Unlike other hotels, daily housekeeping is not provided. You can order service, but it is for a fee. Also, I had a few bumps but they were resolved fairly quickly. My first room did not have a doorknob or lock on my side of the adjoining room door. I was switched to another room that was safer. Next my jacuzzi tub did not work. The night time gal at the desk only could suggest that I have to push the button to turn it on. Jeez, like I did not try it. The next day, maintenance came and showed me where the breaker box was and which one to flip. Warning, do not expect a very strong wi-fi connection. Desk gal said they were experiencing some issues recently with service and they were working to resolve it. The last issue was at 7 am on a weekend, every smoke and fire alarm in my suite went off. The whole floor had the same rude awakening with flashing lights and blaring noise. There was not a fire, but someone may have burnt their breakfast, causing the smoke to go thru the vents of all the other rooms. For the price we paid, the large rooms, and convenience of location, this place is an overall win. No place is going to be perfect and this place has a lot going for it.

Just a couple hours before the 4:00pm allowed arrival time and even after they sent multiple private messages warning us of possible penalties and even added hidden fees they were to collect. Here is a list: --$50 if pool door is locked --$100 charge for any garbage left on pails or placed in barrels incorrectly --$90 fee to arrive an hour early --$1000 penalty if alarm is accidentally triggered. (At this point we called for details. We learned the alarm doesn't have a cover--it can be triggered by accidentally pressing the buttons. When we expressed our discomfort, we were told that if we didn't like the policy we could cancel our reservation. We begrudgingly accepted the policy.) --$290 for the dogs. This one came at about 5pm. The number of guests and our dogs were listed on the receipt. They texted privately that they realized they didn't include the charge in the price and they wanted to collect it. We texted a picture of the receipt to the Tropical Properties broker, but she refused to drop the pet charge. We were still about an hour away by car. We spoke to customer service at Air B&B and were reassured that we had until midnight to cancel the reservation, given that we had purchased the insurance offered by Air B&B. (BTW THE INSURANCE--A THIRD PARTY NAMED GENERALI TRAVEL INSURANCE--DENIED OUR CLAIM AFTER AIR B&B WALKED US THROUGH THE STEPS TO COLLECT OUR REIMBURSEMENT.) After cancellation we saw on the receipt that Tropical Properties were also planning to collect a $300 resort fee upon our arrival. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND renting any properties associated with Tropical Properties. And although our family has had many successful Air B&B experiences in the past--this was the first time we needed to file a claim through the insurance they offered. We feel the results are unjust and the insurance was a waste of money.

Funny thing is we reluctantly showed for our 8AM presentation & they mistakenly had us booked at a different property so we cut our losses. Property is a bit worn out. Not awful shape but needs maintenance. Several issues in our suite: slow bath sink, some remote buttons r dead, 2 rolls of T paper & 2 towels for party of 3 for 4 days, curtain rod loose n sagging and used bandaids inside tissue box, etc. The kitchenette with pull out couch in the living room and separate bedroom made for a nice suite. The two pools were nice but much too cold to swim and the Jacuzzi's were not warm enough either. About $150 a night.
