Their team is reliable, honest, and so responsive that I felt like I was some sort of VIP. From the start I found their quotes to be reasonable, and it was clear that the attention to detail they gave set them above the rest. They have painted my house, done work on my patio, have painted many friends of mine homes. Never once have I heard anybody give them anything but praise because they do live up to the standards we all expect. When they say you're home is your temple, they certainly treat it like that.

I tried to contact the Captians Painter for 6 months before they reluctantly responded to my concerns and sent a painter to do some touch ups. At this time, the painter and I found many other areas where poor paint coverage were discovered. Now less than 1 year later there are more areas where paint is peeling on the walls, soffit, and facia. I recommend you do not hire The Captains Painter. They did very poor preperation and painting work at my home. I am no hiring another contractor to repaint the areas that are peeling. This is very disappointing.

We've known this gentleman for many years and he has always been dedicated to living the American dream and raising a Family and he has succeeded at both. The most recent job his company did for us was a 2,000 + sq ft residence. Staff members came (actually early which was great) to start prepping the walls. He came with the paint and more painters. And in less than three days they transformed our home perfectly. When I say perfectly I mean this. Straight lines with no paint on the ceiling or trim. No runs drip nor drops. Their skill is high and hands are steady, they don't need blue tape. In my pictures you will see I have curved walls, European style, which requires tape when you are changing color from the main room to the hall, so you will see it. Utilization of quality paint so coverage is good, no bleed through and, in our case we selected eggshell, and it looks awesome. The painters work well together, they are fast, clean, there was no mess ever, and that in-and-of-itself is good training and manners, & we were impressed. We were asked a couple of times to double check everything as they went along and I like that, bc if I did see any thing it could be addressed while there was a paint can still open, rather than being asked if everything is okay as they were pulling out of the driveway. That's not how they work, because they care. They are quite and out of your way but if you need something they drop what they are doing and help, then go right back to work. Never, ever did I see one person stop to check their phone . They worked constantly except for a lunch break and they let us know they were going and came back faster than excepted. Theses are no slouches, these are workers, and great ones at that. It comes from good leadership. The end result is our walls, doors, trim and baseboards are in perfect and condition looking beautiful. I will always call this company and of course, highly recommend that you call too.

When he came on Friday, he requested two additional days and increased the quoted price by $150. I agreed to allow two additional days. The individual did not show up the following day and didn't notify me. The day after he promised to come by 9:30am, but again didn't show up. Eventually he came back on Monday (three hours late) after I threatened with a law suit, and again said that the job required more than he thought and that he couldn't complete it. He eventually returned about a half of the deposit. Overall, he was a complete waste of time and unprofessional. The quoted price was higher than the price offered by another firm that actually completed the job after he refused.

Before they came for the job our townhouse was white. After they left, it was still white. But was it? This was not the same townhouse than before by any means.
