First off, they never explained that housing benefits would cease during the clinical portion of the program. As a veteran, getting housing allowance while going to school is an amazing benefit and one that we don't want to miss out on. This isn't a problem at other schools like MDC. This critical information was omitted, leading me to drop out. I had one class left before finding this out. To add insult to injury, they charged me $200 for leaving the program and even made me pay for my transcripts. The main teacher, Mrs. Kim, made the entire experience unbearable. She was unprofessional, borderline psycho, and made the program so miserable that I no longer wanted to continue. She even went as far as holding me after class in an attempt to break me as a person. Her behavior was incredibly weird, and the only relief came when she finally left. Her brother was a way better teacher. He didn't seem to use the class as much as an ego stroke or soapbox like it was for his sister Kim. The program itself is a joke. The tests are poorly written, and the professors seem more interested in passing students through than actually teaching the material. There's no syllabus provided, making it nearly impossible to prepare for exams or understand what content to focus on. This place is a mess, and it's telling that they don't allow Google reviews--probably because they know how bad the feedback would be. Instead, you're forced to leave reviews on Yelp, where it's harder for the truth to come out. All in all, I do not recommend this program at all. Save your time, money, and sanity by looking elsewhere.

So much for consistency! when I asked what the problem was I got three different answers from 3 different people. There is something very wrong going on here. Very disorganized, unprofessional and no regard for well being of patients. it seems to me that students should be taught these basic skills because there is more to acupuncture than sticking needles in a body. I'll admit I chose this place because of its prices, but this just reinforced what I already knew. You get what you pay for. I'll be checking the credentials of any future acupuncturists I use to be sure they did not attend this school.

I paid $153 for a 75-minute massage that was advertised to include deep tissue work, hot stones, three aromatherapy blends, therapeutic stretching, an ice globe facial treatment, and a relaxing scalp and foot massage. Instead, I received about 60 minutes of someone rubbing large amounts of oil across my back. There was very little technique, no real attention to the areas I requested, and none of the relaxing flow or pressure I expect from a professional massage. It was actually uncomfortable at times, and I found myself just waiting for it to end. I don't know if this was due to a lack of experience or a lack of care, but the service I received did not match what was advertised or what I paid for. It felt like money wasted. Based on my experience, I'd recommend spending a little more elsewhere if you're looking for a quality massage.

Eventually i was brought up to where the massage school is and was greeted by no one that spoke any english. Eventually one student who spoke a little english arrived 30+ minutes later. The teacher told me they could only do back massages and for 30 minutes only. I agreed since i had already made the trip however this was a HUGE mistake. I waited 40 minutes outside of the classroom where i repeatedly heard them talking about me and the service. When i was eventually invited in i was handed a dirty massage towel that had a ton of hair in the velcro and a massage bed full of stains. The massage started while the class was still running and all i could hear was talking. I paid well over the advertised price, $40 for what was supposed to be a 30 min massage and was nothing more than 20 minutes, i actually thought she was joking when she said it was finished. I checked the time on my phone and it wasn't even 18 minutes. By this point i was so annoyed i just wanted to leave. Granted i know they are students, but this is a massage school, you would think they are being taught actual techniques. I was basically tickled for 18 min for $40. I have been to several massage schools before where i got services done by a student under supervision of an instructor, this was beyond a SCAM!!!
