The wifi was so obnoxiously slow that not even a single device could load GPS or a web page in a reasonable amount of time, forget about entertainment in the form of streaming of any sort. The gigantic pool and nice hot tub close at sundown, while this may seem like a reasonable time, they close way to early in practicality. After a long day of vacationing a hot tub can be very nice however they closed very very early. There are lights in both the pool and hot tub area yet the management decides to padlock the gates shut. If you want a cold environment, this is not the place to be. The thermostat comes with a damage warning that says anything under 72 degrees may damage the property and the renter would be financially responsible. This ensures the property stays nice and toasty, in Florida, where the avg temp ranges from 75-85 degrees. The pool heater within our property also didn't work well at all the pool stayed freezing cold, plus it is laughably small for a place that claims it can hold 10 people. Overall the most troubling thing was the lack of any internet connection at all, in addition to the shitty wifi, major carriers (especially T-mobile and Verizon) have very little connection here aswell leaving you kind of out of luck in both directions. This place is aesthetically pleasing in all the right ways, and if they can get a handle on their connectivity issues, availability issues, and slight accommodation issues this would get a 4.5/5 from me.

A few issues during our 2 night, 3 day visit: AC didn't work properly, horrible coffee, ice maker in refrigerator didn't work, refrigerator filter was out, we had to pay a cleaning fee but clean up and do laundry before we left. Was a quiet sleep, but I was exhausted from driving so..... The pool was warm, not a way to cool off anywhere on a hot day. Also was told that it was $100/day to use the pool!!!! He gave us a parking tag for our FREE parking spot. The room he gave us had a small patio overlooking the pool, and we had a great view of the Beaver moon - so bright. The bed was so comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. We kept our cold packs in the freezer and they stayed frozen. We had enough outlets for charging our electronics, which we appreciated. We watched the flat screen TV, but we forgot to ask why we could not get CBS or NBC on the set. The breakfast had a lot of different items and was very good. We had the scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and orange juice. Husband also had the potatoes, and I had fresh fruit and yogurt. There was also a variety of baked goods, cereals, and beverages: bottled water, coffee, apple & orange juice, tea and hot chocolate. Check out was quick and easy with a friendly employee. We let her know that the sink in the bathroom was a slow drainer. She appreciated the information and said she'd take care of it. We will be back!!

The jogging trail and overall scenery are genuinely beautiful and make it feel like a relaxing escape after long park days. The freestyle soda machines were a nice perk, and the food quality exceeded expectations--it felt thoughtfully prepared rather than typical cafeteria-style resort food. Our room was very clean, which always makes a big difference, and the variety of transportation options to the parks was convenient and flexible. For what we paid, the value felt fair, especially considering the amenities. The pool area was also a highlight, and throughout our stay, the employees were consistently professional and helpful. The on-site laundry room was another underrated bonus--it made it easy to head home without a pile of laundry waiting. That said, there were a few drawbacks. We did notice gnats occasionally making their way into the room, which was frustrating. Transportation to Magic Kingdom in particular was inconsistent--the bus took a long time and caused us to miss early entry one morning. One bus driver interaction also stood out, as we were repeatedly corrected about our stroller not being "fully folded" (even though it was), along with strict direction on where we could stand or sit. Additionally, depending on your room location, the walk to Centertown Market can be quite long and inconvenient. The resort is also a bit far from any off-property convenience stores if you need to grab last-minute items, and the lack of a fitness center may be a downside for some guests. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, this was a fun and enjoyable place to stay. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and I would recommend it--and would stay here again.

When a vacation room has a door that faces the outside of the property I defined that as a motel and so that perception was immediately disappointing. We also experienced a lot of bugs coming in and out of the room and since you weren't in an interior space, traditional to a hotel, it contributed to having to walk through them. The resort is big in the pool area was nice. Getting from our room to the common area with food and gift shops seemed quite a distance, especially for us with a younger family. Travel to and from the park was convenient, although like any resort, very busy during peak times. Having visited other Disney resorts and resorts outside of the park, we would no longer choose to stay at the Caribbean beach resort.

I was fortunate to get there before the large crowds, as when I walked in, there were plenty of staff available to check me in and there were no guests. About an hour later I walked through there and there were about 100 people in line waiting to check-in. The lady who checked me in was perfect! Friendly, professional, recognized my status, and gave me good info about the property, while promptly checking me in. Once I got to my room I was immediately satisfied with the décor and cleanliness. It's common that the Marriott properties I stay in have moldy caulking in the shower area, nasty, stained carpeting, and furniture that's stained, broken, dirty, and unappealing - But not here! This room was very nicely set up and maintained too. The bed was comfy and they also offered Pluto as one of their internet TV/streaming services - This has been very important to me over the past couple of years, I'm so used to it that I hate properties that don't offer it. The property itself was great. Service by all the staff was great. The entire place was well-maintained and you never have to leave or go outside; in fact, we didn't leave for the first day and a half! It's probably the best Gaylord I've stayed in so far, definitely better than National Harbor! It's also a mile from Disney World!!

One is to bring a beach volleyball or some sort of ball for the pool. They have basketball hoops, and there are so many kids that bring balls that if you have a child that likes sports and doesn't have a ball, they will be pretty disappointed. The resort does not supply balls, but you can buy one for $17. Whereas if you go to Walmart, they are $10 so just bring a ball with you. My older son loved the Flow Rider. You can sign up 24 hours ahead of time online to guarantee you a spot. There is a table that you can sign up day of, but spots do you get filled up because there are only six kids allowed in each group per session so that's a total of 12 people. We were able to snag a same-day spot of 10 AM and then he loved it so much we went back for a 12 PM spot. The earlier you are there, the fewer kids that are signed up, so you get more turns if you sign up for an earlier spot. As long as you get to the pool early enough, you do not have to pay for seating. I love that there is an umbrella above most chairs. On Friday we got to the pool at about 2 PM and there were tons of seats. On Saturday we got there about 10:30 AM and there were enough seats that we were able to find one under an umbrella, but about 15 minutes later I saw families struggling to find shaded seats. On Sunday at about 9:30 am there were a moderate amount of seats open that were shaded, but by about 10 AM people were struggling. So if you're planning to get there around 11, maybe noon, you might want to go ahead and reserve seating. If there is a light show, it is worth getting a room on a higher floor in the main atrium. They had the blooming light show and my kids actually really enjoyed it. It is at 9 PM so that was a little late for my young ones, but we were able to sit on the balcony and watch it. I realized if we had a lower room we wouldn't have been able to see it as well, so ninth floor main atrium is definitely the way to go. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, I remember last time thinking they were a bit outdated, but they went through a full renovation, January 2025 and now they were absolutely gorgeous. I loved our room and I love the decor. We also ate at old Hickory steakhouse so I will leave my review there and I checked out the spa so I'll leave my review there. The kids love the arcade, and there are quite a few trinkets that they could win. It was a great after dinner activity. I love all the flowers they plant during the spring, they are beautiful backdrops for pictures. I highly recommend checking out all of the flowers. I was surprised that there were so few cars in the parking garage, I love that I could keep the car shaded, in the parking garage is on the side of the hotel that has the big ship, so if you're planning to go to your car a lot, it's worth getting a room closer to that side. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and we had the best stay here.
