Looks sketchy in the daylight, but was a nice place inside. Check in was easy. Staff at front desk was nice and helpful. We made reservations thru Airbnb. A few issues during our 2 night, 3 day visit: AC didn't work properly, horrible coffee, ice maker in refrigerator didn't work, refrigerator filter was out, we had to pay a cleaning fee but clean up and do laundry before we left. Was a quiet sleep, but I was exhausted from driving so..... The pool was warm, not a way to cool off anywhere on a hot day. Also was told that it was $100/day to use the pool!!!! We didn't pay, but it wasn't advertised as costing more, so..... I probably be back here. read more

Overall the pictures are a lie. It's very spacious for a party of 8 however very dirty. The reviews are pretty honest and the hotel just needs a deep cleaning. Our rugs and some linings just smelled a little weird. We asked for extra toilet paper and the receptionist advised us there was an extra charge... ok. I asked for extra towels and never received them. 150 cleaning fee and resort fee was added in the end. Eh I wouldn't stay here again based on how dirty things were. read more

While at first glance it appears to be nice, it clearly is in need of a thorough cleaning. Carpets and floors were dirty and there were stains on the couches. We checked in very late at night and went right to sleep so we didn't really have a desire to check the cleanliness and we went straight to a park the next day. As the week went on, my husband and I had been experiencing respiratory and skin issues that got progressively worse, especially when we went to bed. This definitely made the trip less enjoyable as it lasted well after we left the resort. We just assumed it was poor air quality in the unit. At the end of our stay, as I was reaching under the sink area, I viewed visible black mold and the area was wet. We went to the front desk and reported it and showed them pictures. Clearly, the cleaning staff should have seen that during their regular cleanings, but failed to do anything about it. It took management 2 weeks to get back to us as we at least wanted our cleaning fee refunded and possibly some compensation for our discomfort and inconvenience for their negligent cleaning practices. After several follow ups, they only agreed to half of the over $200 fee. For what we paid to stay there, and the poor condition of the place, charging a cleaning fee is an absolute joke. read more

Before you book, please know that this is more of a house rental than a hotel. We just stayed here for 5 nights and the 6 of us loved it. We made a reservation back in November and we had no problem with check in. We stayed at a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom villa. Every room was cleaned and well-prepped for us. They offer a cleaning and replenish for $145 or you can self-clean it yourself (they have a vacuum and broom in the downstair closet near the wash room). They give you the one full roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, they give you dish soap (under kitchen sink), a small pack of laundry detergent, and bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, body soap). After that, they will charge for any extras. We didn't have a problem with this and we had already planned on going to Walmart down the street to grab some items that we couldn't put in our carry-on luggage. We had two issues with the house. When we first arrived, the a/c was not working. I called front desk and they sent someone out within 30 minutes. It was an easy fix and all he had to do was drain the tank. On our third day, one of the showers didn't want to drain and we had little bugs come up. We called the front desk again and maintenance came out even faster and fixed the issue within an hour. The front desk is 24/7 on weekends and 6am - 11pm on weekdays. We weren't able to check out with the front desk because we had to leave to the airport by 4am on a Tuesday but I left the keys on the kitchen counter with a note and emailed the front desk letting them know what time we were out of the house. They had a response for me as soon as I landed back to CA. The area is close to many food options and they also have a restaurant on property. They're also pretty close to all the Walt Disney World parks between an 8 to 16 minute drive each time (Magic Kingdom being the farthest). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's not bothered by the idea of a house rental. read more

This is a fabulous property with so much potential but poor service drags it down. Value-check. Aesthetics-check. Location-check. But service levels-boo! We rented 2 Super nice 4 bedroom condos with all the necessary basics for a family trip to attend a wedding. Pool was cold despite being told it was heated. Jacuzzi was even colder! When we complained, the front desk informed us that maintenance said they checked and the jacuzzi was 95 degrees. It was more like 65 degrees. Finally, they admitted that the heater was broken. TV remotes needed new batteries but multiple requests to have them fixed went unanswered so the nice flat screen TVs were worthless to us. read more

I stayed in a luxurious two-story, four bedroom condo which was immaculate and very relaxing. It would easily accommodate eight people. The beds and linens are fabulous. Sofas are modern and comfortable. The decor is South Florida Art Deco, very sleek. All rooms are suites and have their own bath and television/alarm clock. No hot tub. The bedrooms in my unit consisted of two king master suites, one with furnished terrace and two twin suites one with unfurnished terrace. The terrace off the upstairs master suite was nice but the view was right into another complex. Speakers for outdoor music would have been perfect. Dishes, wine glasses, plenty of cooking utensils (Bowls, Pots, Pans) and a nice gas Brinkman BBQ made food preparation a breeze. The outdoor table is great for outside dining and seats a crowd. Bring your own groceries, condiment/seasonings and paper products. I did buy aluminum foil from the front desk and it was reasonably priced. They have a list of misc. items available for purchase. There is a washer/dryer in your unit, which is nice for extended vacation. There is no daily cleaning or refilling of bath items. One small bar soap and one roll of toilet tissue is all you get for each bath so bring some extra. No wash clothes in the unit, which I thought was a little odd. We had plenty of hand and bath towels, beach towels and extra blankets. Bring some spray cleaner for your counter tops/tables too if you plan to cook. There was a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Maid service is extra $$ during your stay if you request it. There is $150 cleaning charge for when you leave regardless. They ask that you take out your own trash. There is no ice available except for the refrigerator/freezer ice maker in your unit which was turned off when we got there. So check when you first arrive. We had to go buy ice from a convenience store down the street. Complex is still under construction. No scenery at all. Bring any sodas, crackers etc. because this is NOT a hotel with snack machines. The pool is pretty and outdoor/heated which made for comfortable swimming. Nice pool chairs with cushions. They had the Cabana double lounge chairs with canopies too. Love those. No coolers allowed. You can order from the restaurant at the pool. There is no bar, the restaurant is small but looks nice. The pool and restaurant close at dusk. The surrounding area is run down. We took our bikes, but the sidewalk/bike path ends at the property line. Disney World is close by 3-5 miles. One daily shuttle with pick up @ 10 am return @ 10 pm and must be scheduled a day prior. I really liked the upscale and spacious feel of the condo, downside was the lack of a lake or any kind of view. Watch for Hidden Fees. read more

First of all, I want to say that this property is really beautiful. But it has a MAJOR problem: the management. At check-in they asked for extra $50 to get the room 1 hour before the check-in time (which we paid, even tough there were a lot of empty/ready rooms). The first room we got smelled like sweat, so we requested a different room. The check-in lady wasn't happy to do this, she was in a very bad mood. Also, they are skimping on the dumbest items. For example, we stayed for 11 nights and they would not replenish toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, etc. They charge you if you need to order more... so if you stay 1 night or 2 weeks, they don't care. It's illogical. I have never stayed at time-share that does this. Marriott's, Sheraton's and others even give you complimentary coffee, toiletries, guest activities and other extras. On the other hand, the TV only has 4 channels (really bad ones) and the whole villa's carpet (which is white) is very stained and looked super dirty. Also, our kitchen was missing a lot of items (not enough silverware, no sharp knives, no oven mittens). I requested repeatedly for this items but I never got them. This would be a great option with the right management, it has lots of potential. Until that gets better, stay somewhere else. read more

Looks just like the pictures but much dirtier. Good : Spacious rooms, each room has its own bathroom. Privacy. Bad : Rugs / Carpet are dirty and sticky. Staff doesn't seem to care or know anything, no ownership. Limited toilet paper/paper towels and other items needed to stay longer, you will need to buy your own as they only provide 1, which I don't thin is much considering how long some people may stay. If you ask from hotel, they charge you. Cleaning fee which is disclosed after you book with them. Cold pool and hot tub that does not work, the staff apparently did not know how to get it work either. It was so cold and would not warm up, we were there for 4 nights and 5 days and it never got fixed during this time. Overall, we made the best of it, but would not go back. There are better places to stay around the area for that same price and better quality and better service. read more

Rented with my family, we ended up renting 2 of the 4 bedroom units. It was a quick trip, 2 nights. At the price, I was expecting a little more. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our 2 days as was the restaurant so we didn't get to try them. This was prior to hurricane Matthew so understand the precaution. Location is solid. Lots of places around you and very close to Disney. Room: Had problems with our outlets. 1/2 didn't seem to work. Room/space was clean though. Bed comfortable. But for what appears to be a newer room (or renovated), it wasn't aging well. Service: I was disappointed with cleaning fee. There wasn't any mention of the fee when booking. And for 2 days, we left the place spotless. Seemed like a racket. Not often I've been charged a add-on fee for cleaning. Just add that to your rate! Not as a special check-in or out surprise! We'll simply stay on a Disney property for our next visit. read more

It's a nice space however the beds are as hard as plywood, you can not sleep on but so if you want to sleep on the couch it's better but if you are going to one of the parks all day be prepared to drink lots of coffee from not being able to sleep on a very bumpy, hard and uncomfortable bed. The last time I stayed here (2021) it was still Covid so there was a no cleaning during stay policy which was understandable. This time there is a fee of $147 to have someone come to clean the room which is appalling given all the money that was spent to stay here. Even motels offer free cleaning during the stay. One of the listed services was daily housekeeping maybe in parenthesis it should have additional fee because it's definitely not free) They don't even give you new tissue, towels nothing. There is also a $250 cleaning fee but that's used to clean the room after check out like an air bnb. How do you charge all this money to stay here but the basic amenity of cleaning for free is out of the question. This is my last time staying here for sure. When you are on vacation you want the luxury to relax and have the service of cleaning taken care of it's really outrageous they want you to pay! read more

Amazing 4 bedroom condo rental. All new appliances, kitchen, laundry, new everything. Only thing is amenities are low. Even for a 6 night stay they don't replenish towels, soap or shampoo. You will have to uber it everywhere but if you want a condo for the same price as a 350sq ft hotel room then this is the place. They do have free shuttle to magic kingdom at 10am and return at 10pm for free but reserve the day before at the front desk. One restaurant, lunch and dinner only. Make sure you go to target near by and stock up for breakfast and snacks! read more

This place is AMAZING! If you are traveling with family to the Orlando area this is the absolute BEST! We spent 9 nights at this fabulous resort and had the best experience. The house is large and plenty of space. The website accurately shows all of the rooms and great decor. The employees are great and happy to assist you with any questions or needs while staying at the resort. The pool is GREAT any time of year and really was a great spot to relax after a day at the parks or before heading out for the night. Wonderful time while visiting! We had the 3br 3bath lake view and it was great, there was some construction going on (August 2018) but it was never too noisy and they were never in the way. Beautiful pool area also. Very close to Disney parks 15-20min, also shopping and fast food is very close. sorry for the late review, I did review on their Facebook page with pictures. Magic Village has amazing units and are far cheaper than the Disney owned hotels. However, we just learned the hard way that the Disney parks discriminate massively against guests that aren't staying at a Disney-owned hotel. The lines to ride are brutal, so arriving early is a must since fast passes are limited to 3 per day. However, the park let's all of the guests of the Disney owned properties in an hour earlier than guests staying in non-Disney properties. So, if you are serious about beating the lines by arriving early, staying at Magic Village will defeat that strategy. Standing in an 1.5 hour long line just to get in the park, and watching all of the Disney guests walk right in. read more

Our family had the best time celebrating my mom's birthday in Orlando (May 4-6, 2018). We stayed at the Magic Village Resort and really enjoyed it!!! This is a hidden gem...very close to the Themed Parks. It's very clean and lives up to the Luxury Condo claim. Great layout and floor plan. Only downside was that we wanted 3 rooms with a queen/King bed....since there were 3 married couples in our group. The on-site facilities crew was great. I was impressed by the number and quality of cookware and houseware items that came with the unit. The community was quiet and clean. read more

We stayed at Magic Village for 3 nights while visiting Disneyworld. We specifically chose this hotel because of the shuttle that was provided to & from the Disney parks. When we arrived, we were told that there were only two shuttles for the entire day (leaves at 7am and comes back at 10pm) however, we arranged our schedule to be able to use the shuttle services. We were given a bus loading zone for the 10pm shuttle to get back to the hotel. The first night, we waited for 30 minutes and when there was no bus, we called and the receptionist who told us we were at the wrong bus zone. That night we had to get a taxi to take us back to our hotel. The next morning we called about 4 times to double check what the correct loading zone was. That night we went to the zone and waited nearly 2 hours in the cold with two babies. We called the hotel and spoke with the manager and he assured us the bus would be there soon. We waited and the bus never came. We were the last family at the bus stop just to end up having to call a taxi again. Not to mention, both babies woke up very sick the next morning from staying out so long in the cold. I would advise ALL employees and receptionists to know exactly which bus loading zone it is before they give out the wrong information to their guests. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We booked 3 weeks in advance. You can imagine - after all the preparation, planning, packing - just how bad we felt when that was all ruined. It was supposed to be our Christmas and New Year celebration I called The Magic Village in advance to find out if we could bring our emotional support dog. And I was told - YES. It was the only reason I called in advance - to make arrangements if they would say no. But according to the front desk, the woman that I spoke with made a mistake, and nobody would to take responsibility for it. So there we were at 10:00pm with our dog trying to check in after a long days work. Instead of the start of a much needed mini-vacation, we were greeted with THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that we've ever experienced. Basically 2 girls who didn't introduce themselves and refused to give up their names once the issue was known. They said they would not check us in and made us wait without telling us why. Eventually we found out one of them had called their manager. Once off the phone with the manager she repeated that we could not stay with the dog. We reminded her that their own employee assured us that we could and asked what solution could they offer to resolve their mistake - they said - "that's our solution, you can't stay, it's the law...it's the law". In case anyone from The Magic Village is reading this review, I would like to state that "The Law" allows you to turn down guests with non-service animals, not that the law obligates you to turn pets away. There is a difference. To top it off, the front desk agent even told us that it's not the first time that someone is told emotional support dogs are ok only to be turned away at the desk! Oh, really? And you did NOTHING to prevent it from happening again and have zero solutions for when it does? She even told us that as Wyndham Rewards members we should have known that only service animals, not emotional support animals were allowed. But it was our first time as Rewards Members, thanks for the "GREAT" first experience. At that point my husband gave up and said he would drive off and figure out what to do with the dog, we have relatives that live in Clermont and he figured he could take the dog there. To which she responded that she would have to sporadically check our room during our stay to make sure we didn't keep the dog. REALLY?! That was the last straw, so we left. read more

I typically prefer a Four Seasons, but lately I have been staying at more places that have a full kitchen. The pics looked great for Magic Village, so I thought why not? The room is dirty, dead bugs on the floor upon arrival, the windows are really dirty, it reeks of SMOKE, there aren't any wash cloths to wash your face with, the outlets don't work in any of the bathrooms, (I have a 4 bedroom unit) , the restaurant closes at sundown, (it's a big deal if you are on West Coast time) I can hear the neighbors all throughout the night, the pool closes at 8, the decor is cheaply made and just not nice, the maid service is a joke, etc.... The cleaning service didn't take the trash out, didn't change the sheets, and left the hairdryer in the middle of the floor. (because it wouldn't work in the bathroom) It certainly wasn't worth the $85 cleaning fee!! I will say the front desk was nice, the repairman seems friendly, and the wifi works. The parks seem close, but the traffic makes it a good 30-40 minute drive. I would not recommend this location!! read more
