Lovely little home. I you are a realistic person who has…read morelived in Florida and knows how rain is a part of daily life, do not book this venue. If you understand there really is no (as in ZERO) backup for rain and still love it, go ahead. Forget the rain. Tried to start ceremony 15 minutes early as bride and photographer wanted to get outside photos during pause in rain and were shut down. NO. Not happening. We managed a few photos post ceremony and skies opened. Observe cocktail tables in dance area during cocktail hour but no one from venue escorted or guided guests to that room so dining room was used. Not pleased. Saw two appetizers shrimp tossed on a plate and Costco-style spanikopita. I know I paid for the Platinum Package and son said he had a beef Wellington. Will take his word for it. Oh, asked for a Coke prior to ceremony and was told I can have lemonade or water. Okey dokey. No wine poured with dinner. Rolls served after salads finished. Father's meal served 12 minutes after others at the table. And cold. Father was also informed he wasn't on their schedule for speech and had to wait till they got around to pouring champagne. He informed representative that that was just not going to happen and adjust their time line. Quite honestly, fortunate my husband didn't totally lose his mind by then. Good thing I ordered dessert platters for all tables in addition to cake as our cake was cleared before we had a chance to eat it. There appeared to be a mas rush to clear so staff could get home and this was not yet 9.30pm. If on a budget, I see the charm. If it is sunny, perhaps different experience and perhaps they will learn to be more fluid and flexible with their timelines. Roof leaked as well. Left a cocktail table on already cozy dance floor. Cocktail table was there to collect the rain water so it wouldn't puddle on floor. You really couldn't make all this up. I do have a great florist recommendation, though. Management should be ashamed at how the evening progressed.

It has taken me some time to write this but that is not for a lack of wonderful things to say. From…read morethe moment I contacted Town Manor, they were nothing but wonderful, warm and inviting. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things. When my now husband and I decided to use Town Manor, we did not fully understand what we were getting - we were being accepted and welcomed into a new family, with open arms. The moment I began to plan, and stress over the details, Town Manor stepped in, like the amazing people they are, to alleviate that stress. Any time I had a question, they were there to respond. Any time I was stuck or needed to meet in person, Nandy and Emily were available to help me and to walk me through the planning. They made the process so easy and stress free which made me able to worry about other things. From an allergy free menu to a custom play list, they made it happen. Anything I needed; they were there for. If you are on the fence about Town Manor, let me help you with a decision. For the price, you will get perfection. For the price, you will have a dedicated team that will be there for you and help you along the way. For the price, you will have peace of mind and an amazing experience that I know other vendors cannot match. I met and spoke with at least 30 other places and options before I found Town Manor and I am so glad I found them! Their price was better than everyone else's and they made me feel welcome, loved and appreciated - like I mattered - from the very first conversation. Above all, you will be welcomed in to a wonderful, loving family of some of the best humans I have ever met in my life - I am grateful to Town Manor and to Nandy, Don and Emily, to which I say, thank you. Side note: the food is seriously amazing and the cake was the best I have ever had in my life.

Very uncomfortable for my husband, they did warn if you were on the heavy side you probably wouldn't like it. No water pressure. The breakfasts were skimpy and gross. Sorry. The grounds were unkempt. Decorations didn't flow. I know they have been in business for a while, but they don't seem to enjoy running a bed and breakfast anymore. If you have pets, they do allow them which is nice. It was hot, so we had the window open the whole time there. 40 degrees outside, felt like 80 inside. It's perfectly located within a short walk of historic downtown with its boutique stores, restaurants and an amazing little wine bar. But back to the inn, Tom & Christi were very welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was comfortable and quiet! They took great care in the remodeling of this old house to be sure guests wouldn't hear their neighbor. Each of the 3 rooms has it's own ensuite. Nice touches include: BIG flat screen tv, Kuerig coffee maker, bottles of water, and super soft fluffy towels. The bed was firm but comfortable, and pillows are NOT down (great for allergic people like myself). After a morning bike ride (we brought ours along) along the lake front we returned to a fresh hot breakfast of eggs (we picked scrambled but Tom will accommodate your preference), turkey sausage, toast, Tom's homemade hash, and fresh fruit. Juice, coffee, and a nice tea selection are available too. I really liked that they asked if we wanted this or that, didn't just put down a plate of food (when I made the reservation Christi made a point of asking if we had any food allergies or likes & dislikes). Note: this is the only B&B we've stayed at that had a toaster with Pop tarts available for guests to toast themselves! The house has undergone a complete remodel thanks to the Kapps. They did a wonderful job. And they are friendly inn keepers with a lot of knowledge of the area. Be sure to visit their website for the history of the house.

We had an amazing stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and would love to stay here again. We've traveled…read morearound the world and stayed at some incredible places. The BoardWalk Inn is up there with the best of them. It's really got a charm all its own. Going into this trip, I wasn't expecting that and turned out, I was pleasantly surprised. My wife handled everything. Our package included: Room type: Resort View - Club Level Check-in and checkout: Sunday-Tuesday (two nights) Theme park tickets: 2 Day Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper Option Memory Maker: 30-Day Adv WDTC (Disney PhotoPass) Luggage tags: Keepsake luggage tags (1 per person) -- we actually did not receive these, but meh Package total cost: $3,344.04 "Club Level" meant we stayed in the special club section of the inn with access to the Innkeeper's Club. The BoardWalk Inn is a Disney "Deluxe" resort and all eight Deluxe resorts have a Club Level lounge with a constant supply of food and drink (including alcohol) and it's staffed with Cast Members. Of the Deluxe resorts, I think the BoardWalk Inn is the most intimate. The Innkeeper's Club was one of the highlights of our stay and we took full advantage of it. We loved the food, drink, and service. I especially enjoyed the cookies and POG juice (passionfruit, orange, guava). In no particular order, shout-out to Cast Members Rhett, Danielle, Gigi, and Lorenzo for helping to make our stay memorable. Random memory: One day, after they played Freaky Friday (2003), we helped them pick out the next movie to watch and my wife picked Coco (2017). We stayed in Room 4244 on the 4th floor. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the look and aesthetic of our room and the hotel overall. The hotel just completed a series of renovations in 2023-2024 that made the guest rooms brighter with a more modern "coastal" theme, and the lobby was refreshed as well. I really liked the artwork in our room featuring Mickey & Minnie and Donald & Daisy out on their BoardWalk dates. Who knew that early 1900s mid-Atlantic seaside boardwalk theming would have so much appeal? We really loved the vibe. As a fan of old-time radio growing up, I got a kick out of the radio show broadcasts from the 30s and 40s in the Belle Vue Lounge. And we loved the music that played inside the hotel: 1920s and 1930s jazz, ragtime, and big band swing (e.g., Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller). When we checked out, there was a surprise pop-up appearance by Disney characters Daisy Duck and Chip 'n Dale.

What you don't experience is the kind care of the folks who work here. Let's start with CLEAN! Lots of surfaces, lots of wood, and it is all clean and so well maintained. Friendly: the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Always available if you need to call the lift or have a question. Rooms are all furnished with an individual style. Breakfast was great! Just let them know when you think you will head to the dining room and then you order off the menu. Everything we had was great and prepared just for us. My husband was particularly fond of the grits, ordering a double portion once he had tried them! Ip really enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast with Blueberry preserves. Location:Um, did I mention it is right in the midst of Winter Garden? Great spot for walking about and exploring. I also enjoyed grabbing a cup of coffee before breakfast and sitting out front near the Winter Garden fountain, so peaceful. They also have a designated parking lot next to the Inn for cars with tags (which you get a checkin). Highly recommend this spot. If you are put off by having separate hot and cold faucets, maybe pass this up, but if you want an experience and a great stay, definitely check it out and check in!

The wifi was so obnoxiously slow that not even a single device could load GPS or a web page in a reasonable amount of time, forget about entertainment in the form of streaming of any sort. The gigantic pool and nice hot tub close at sundown, while this may seem like a reasonable time, they close way to early in practicality. After a long day of vacationing a hot tub can be very nice however they closed very very early. There are lights in both the pool and hot tub area yet the management decides to padlock the gates shut. If you want a cold environment, this is not the place to be. The thermostat comes with a damage warning that says anything under 72 degrees may damage the property and the renter would be financially responsible. This ensures the property stays nice and toasty, in Florida, where the avg temp ranges from 75-85 degrees. The pool heater within our property also didn't work well at all the pool stayed freezing cold, plus it is laughably small for a place that claims it can hold 10 people. Overall the most troubling thing was the lack of any internet connection at all, in addition to the shitty wifi, major carriers (especially T-mobile and Verizon) have very little connection here aswell leaving you kind of out of luck in both directions. This place is aesthetically pleasing in all the right ways, and if they can get a handle on their connectivity issues, availability issues, and slight accommodation issues this would get a 4.5/5 from me.
