I recently inquired about a tankless water heater with installation through Home Depot, and their service provider contacted me regarding the installation. After asking several questions about my 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, they concluded that no tankless water heater could meet my needs. They calculated my requirement at over 12 GPM based on the number of sinks, washing machines, showers, and tubs. I found this hard to believe and tried to reason with them, but they insisted that no unit could provide hot water for a home like mine. Under their theory or calculation, even a traditional water heater wouldn't work. I pointed out that if this were true, Home Depot wouldn't sell tankless water heaters at all. I then contacted the manufacturer of the tankless unit, who informed me they hear this complaint often and advised me to find a local plumber instead.

The sell a limited selection of trim which is sold by the foot but is bundled and you can not just buy one stick which makes it not affordable if you need 20 feet or less. (Most are 4 12 feet sticks). The staff is very nice and will let you look through the boards to select what will work for your project.

Pretty much a wholesale place though they are happy to do small retail orders- meaning you can't wander around the warehouse looking at wood. If you have a pretty good idea of what you need the quality here is way above big box stores. Walk in and order the pieces and they bring it out to your truck. They do have a catalog in the store and they have a pretty good selection of kitchen cabinets. They are now on my list of go-to places when I want quality. They were about 7% higher than the big box stores, which is just fine by me when you consider what you get.

It's not your normal steel yard full of parts is pieces of scrap steel all over. This place is clean almost shiny. I mean clean with well swept floors and everything in bins that are pretty well stocked. I stopped at the front desk and ask if they had what I needed and James one of the owners told me. Let's see what we have and off we went. Yep, they have just what I needed but there was a problem. I needed 2 pieces 7ft long and this piece was 21ft. So to the forklift he went. He grabbed the pics of pipe and over to the cutter. He cut it as I stood there and in the truck we went to load. In all a great experience it was. I even got prices on a lot more projects that we have upcoming. Great job guys.
