I knew I had 2 small cavities, and felt an impact from one wisdom tooth on my bottom left side. So I naively, went by myself to Dental Boost. 15 minutes later, I walk out with an $8,000.00 bill. Their staff insisted the best option would be to get a credit card through them from "Care Credit". They said I had 12 cavities, needed 4 wisdom teeth removed for "precautionary purposes" since one was bothering me, and should get Invisalign for the ONE tooth I had that was slightly slanted to the right. (Mind you, my entire life people would compliment me on how straight my teeth were.) Oh and they charged me for both bottom and top row teeth Invisalign. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! I was naïve and thought Dr.Gabaldon was a sweet lady and that all the staff was honest and kind, little did I know they were taking advantage of me because I was 19 and I didn't have any parent or guardian with me, to call them on their bullshit. Towards the end of all the so-called treatments, the staff tried to trick me into paying an additional $2,000 that I had already paid and until I got extremely angry and had my mother speak with them, they said "Oh no, youre right! you did pay it, our mistake". Fast forward, I am 26 now, and 2 of the fillings they did came out, exposing the nerves. I go to visit another dentist, and the dentist tells me 1. I don't have fillings in any teeth except 2 molars, and it was done so poorly, that I will now need 2 root canals, and crowns for those teeth, as well as medication for an infection that the poorly done filling has caused me. This is another whopping $4,000. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TEETH, DO NOT EVER GO TO DR.GRABALDON!!!! THEY ARE THIEVES AND WILL CONTINUOUSLY ABUSE YOU.GO TO A DIFFERENT HONORABLE AND HONEST DENTIST.

At my first visit they required a scan and then told me I needed a deep cleaning before the dentist would do anything else. I expected a regular cleaning, but I felt pressured into paying for an expensive deep cleaning that cost $665. After that, I explained that I wanted bonding for my two front teeth. The dentist told me bonding would not last and recommended veneers instead. The front desk explained the process and price and told me the veneers would be porcelain and that they would match the color to my teeth. Because I do not have insurance, they offered me a discount to $450 per tooth for the two front teeth. Communication throughout the process was very poor. It took a long time for them to call me back to schedule the next step, and when I finally returned for the procedure there seemed to be confusion between the dentist and the front desk about what treatment had actually been discussed and agreed on. While I was there, the office manager reassured me about the quality and guarantee of the veneers. However, when the dentist came in to begin, he suddenly said that I had only paid for resin and not porcelain veneers. He left the room to speak with the front desk, and one of the staff members returned to apologize and say it had been a mistake. Despite the mistake being on their side, no one offered a solution, a correction, or any effort to honor what had been explained to me previously. The lack of communication within the office and the way the situation was handled felt very unprofessional. I chose to leave. They canceled the original transaction and instead charged me only for the cleaning. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, pressured, and poorly communicated. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering treatment here ask for everything in writing and make sure all details are clearly confirmed before agreeing to any procedure.

After I'd decided to move on from my previous dentist who I'd been with for more than a decade, as the guy was increasingly running more of an assembly line operation with high prices and somewhat questionable business practices, I picked Dr. Faget out of the list of dentists that are supported by my employer's insurance provider, and I feel fortunate to have found him. In my opinion Dr. Faget fits comfortably in a spot where he uses newer technologies in his practice, including text reminders about upcoming appointments and computer systems for things like taking X-rays and scans, but he's also more of a traditional dentist where he only has 3 chairs, a visiting hygienist performs cleanings, and every time I've been here he's seen me himself. When he does find a concern, he takes time to discuss potential courses of treatment, and never seems rushed or in a hurry when doing so. He's also happy to show patients their X-rays and photos he's taken so they know exactly what he's seeing and how best to address, making them feel at ease and that they fully understand. I personally have a bit of a phobia of dentists, primarily because standard doses of novocaine haven't always been effective at keeping me numb, resulting in sudden and intense pain during past procedures. Dr. Faget got me through a recent crown preparation which is not a quick procedure and requires a lot of drilling. He clearly understood and appreciated my anxiety, and he promised me he'd get me through it and I'd feel nothing. Sure enough, he did just that. He's earned my business and my trust. Most interesting of all is that, when it came time to discuss billing and payment, he didn't send a secretary or low-level employee in to speak with me. Instead, he came into the treatment room himself, reminded me of the visit I'd made when reporting the initial issue through final treatment, and discussed my insurance benefits and co-pays with me himself. Mind you, I'd have been just as happy to have that conversation with his receptionist (who deserves special mention, as she's an absolute delight!), but the fact that he came in with the paperwork to review it with me himself, made me appreciate his approach to patient care even more.

I was seen on time, was there to see a hygienist for a cleaning, but first Dr. Powell gave me the most comprehensive check up I've ever had in my life. He very diligently examined my tongue, gums, and even lymph nodes for any evidence of cancer. (I should note a good friend recently died from tongue cancer.)
