We loved their cheese steak sandwiches & fries. Clean & friendly! The Google reviews of this place are 4.6 and are correct!

If you're anywhere near Troy, The Market is absolutely worth the stop. I had the steak fingers with…read moremashed taters and baby lima beans, and every bite was outstanding. My wife had the veggie plate and loved it too. The place has that small-town country feel right on the square, and it honestly reminded me of eating at my grandma's table growing up. Don't come expecting fast food--your meal is made with care. But when the food is this good, why rush? We'll definitely be back.

I'm sorry but I have changed my opinion of this restaurant. Whereas last winter when I first…read morevisited there, I gave it an excellent rating. But since then, I've have several more meals with a variety of selections from the menu. They've all been mediocre. The fried cod I ordered today was overcooked in a hard crust with little fish inside and the collard greens were watery and right out of can. A few weeks ago a friend and I ordered a pizza there after asking the waitress if it was homemade; she said it was--crust and toppings both--but when it was served, we found it to be a frozen pizza. I do like the friendly and efficient service at this restaurant but the cooking needs to improve. Outside of the generous salads, there's very little value for your money here. And the acoustics make it hard to hear at the table when the restaurant fills up with customers. Concrete floors and metal ceilings don't soften the noise.

Clean establishment, plenty of convenient parking. Quick service at order counter and took us time to familiarize with menu etc. No rush or hustle from staffer! My wife ordered the Reuben Combo, and I opted for the 6 hot wings Combo with bleu cheese. . The wings were advertised as "with Celery and choice of Ranch or Bleu Chese Dressing". Combos include a sizeable serving of crinkle cut Fries and endless drink refills at the beverage bar. Wife is a Reuben Connoisseur and it seemed the only "Deli" Item offered (In a place titled a Deli?) Food was delivered from the kitchen to table after a short wait and was served in Styro clamshells. Condiments, seasonings, napkins, utensils and drinks were all self-serve from nearby locations.. Reuben combo. Served on two-toned rye bread and wrapped in tissue, not halved. The corned beef was sliced thinly, overcooked, dry and tough. We both mouthed "Leather" at the same moment! It was doused in thousand island dressing and NO sauerkraut or swiss cheese apparently. Reuben gets a "D" rating, only because it resembles a sandwich by that name. Wings with optional hot sauce. I received six mini-wings (about 2.5 inches long and minimal girth) that were dry, shrunk up and doused in hot sauce. They offer about 6 options for sauce but this ole boy goes for the fire! The sauce saved (or hid, more appropriately) the meal. No celery or bleu cheese was included in the clamshell. Did not go to counter and ask why?? Wings get a "C", saved by the sauce and ample fries. Crinkle fries. My favorite, my wife prefers shoestrings. I thought the fries were fine, crispy on the outside, just right on the inside and servings were ample. Note: Coke products and only Sweet Tea offered at beverage bar, no Unsweet or lemon wedges offered. +++ Let's face it, it's expensive to eat out these days, every restaurant faces increasing labor, food and overhead costs. Discriminating diners seek VALUE for $$ spent and I'd rate this a very low value for the $$ spent. The tab came to $25.26. For $25.00++ for two, there are better value lunch options nearby.
