We had a good experience here today. We ordered a small hamburger and some french fries. We also order some margaritas, and we enjoyed all of it. It is nice to have a cool place to sit down during a hot day. People are very friendly, and they wait on you right away. This is the great place to eat.
Flo's V8 Cafe. Another money trap. This is a self serve restaurant. I got the Chicken Strips and fries, strawberry milkshake and Strawberry Cream Soda. The milkshake was the only thing acceptable. The chicken strips were 3 small, frozen in a bag that were fried. The fries were a pinch. Literally, smallest serving ever. The cream soda was disgusting. It was soda water, strawberry flavor syrup, yogurt and corn flakes on top. *Never again*
Kevin and I have stopped by Flo's V8 Café a couple of times now, and each visit has been a really great experience. We've tried the club sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, and both were absolutely hearty, flavorful, and really satisfying. They're definitely filling options, and perfect if you're looking for something that will actually keep you full during a long park day. We used mobile ordering both times, and everything was ready right on time, which made the experience really smooth and easy. The lobby also seems to move pretty quickly even when it looks busy, it doesn't stay crowded for long. There's seating both inside and outside, which we really appreciate. We've personally been able to find seating each time without an issue, but it's definitely a popular spot, so seating can get a bit limited during peak times. Another thing we loved is how convenient everything is set up they have condiments and napkins easily accessible inside, and you can even access the restrooms directly from inside the restaurant, which is such a nice and underrated detail. Overall, Flo's is a great mix of good food, efficient service, and convenient setup, making it a solid stop in the park that we always enjoy coming back to. Another simple stop that turns into a satisfying little moment for us.
I've dined here many times over the years, especially when new and seasonal items are on the menu. You'll find American comfort food here with plenty of seating. The food here is average to good. Highlights of Flo's V8 Cafe: - Menu and mobile ordering through the Disneyland app - Seasonal special items - Alcoholic drinks - Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - Views of the Spring Racers attraction - Fun 50's theme inside and out, and amazing at night! - Magic Key holder discounts - Allergy-friendly items (inquire with the cast members) A few new and seasonal items I've tried during early 2026: - The "Big Dipper" Cheeseburger was okay. It's more of a novelty with the burger cut in half and placed on top of the melty pepperocini cheese. The burger was pretty decent. The beef patty was cooked medium. It wasn't a dry burger. Worth a try. - Stop Sign Cream Soda Pop was enjoyable. I would get this again. The strawberry flavor and textures with the cereal topping were nice, and the Sprite kept it refreshing. - Flo's Classic Shake is a Neapolitan ice cream shake (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) topped with cookie crumble "Road Gravel" and is excellent anytime. Sadly, the steak fries and all the other unique French fry styles (crinkle, film strip, etc.) are gone, replaced by ordinary shoestring fries. Hopefully, they all return to the parks soon! Flo's V8 is a great spot to relax and get some tasty American comfort grub. The kind cast members will help clear your tables and trays when finished, while the rest of the service is usually good as well. The dining areas are also kept clean and tidy
What We Ordered: -Flo's Famous Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Seasonal Vegetables $19.99 -Flo's Neapolitan Shake $7.79 We ordered Flo's Famous Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and steamed Broccoli and Carrots. Honestly, for park food, the fried chicken was pretty good. It was fried to golden perfection with tender meat. The roasted garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli and carrots complemented the chicken well. My wife ordered the same thing, and she also really liked the fried chicken. We were lucky; they made a mistake on our Flo's Neapolitan Shake, and they gave us the "messed-up" one for free. We ended up getting two for the price of one. What a lucky day!
We did a mobile order but it probably would have been faster if we'd just waited in line. Eventually I received the Stop Sign Cream Soda Pop because I usually love anything with strawberries in it. It had strawberry flavored cereal flakes on the top which were fabulous, but the drink itself was honestly really sweet. For me that's saying a lot, and I didn't really want to finish it. I did try mixing it but it didn't seem to make much of a difference to the flavor. I'm sure there are other good things to try there and the theming is just so darn cute that I would love to come back and pick something else from their menu.
Flo is located in Cars Land. There are indoor and outdoor seating. I really wanted to try the apple crumble, which was offered during their holidays menu. I placed a mobile order on the app. My order was ready as estimated. I sat inside as it was pretty warm outside. The crumble was warm. A bit too sweet. The ice cream was a good addition. Flavor profile was good but nothing too ordinary. Service was quick and friendly.
My review of Disneyland / DCA salads continues with Fillmore's Groovy Greens. Now, I was never a Cars girl, so idk who Fillmore is but as a salad-lover I'm not sure what exactly made these greens groovy. Honestly, it was one of the most mid salads I've had to date. A very thin layer of romaine and mixed greens topped with corn, beans, edamame, cucumber, thinly sliced carrots, and fried chicken strips (very few, honestly the beans really help with the extra protein here). Since it's Carsland, this is obviously kid central. The seating area could be more abundant and better shaded. We mobile ordered to make pickup as smooth as possible but it still took a while between clicking prepare order and heading to the pickup window. Honestly, I like that they refreshed the menu, but this isn't a salad I would soon return for.
We came in to check out the new food shown online, but realized the new food was not getting served until 23rd. So I got the turkey leg from the cart outside and brought drinks My husband got the hamburger combo but it was so sad. The bun was really dry and the fries was really dry too. The portion size is quite small. The seating here is quite nice and the cleaning crew is very active in cleaning the tables so it's quite clean the outside is usually full, but the inside usually has seats and on one side you can actually see people going on rides I probably would rest here and bring the food from the other mobile cart and get the drink drinks or salad here I do not recommend getting the burger here
We got the Groovy Greens salad, and it was pretty good. It needs more beans (edamame and white beans) and more than 1 cherry tomato, but the flavor was really good. The dressing was delicious. I liked the crispy quinoa, but either it had a gritty texture or there was still some sand in the kale/romaine. I would order it again; I just want them to increase the protein and non-leafy veggies for us plant eaters.
We came to have dinner here and honestly, it was amazing food I tried out their salad and it was so delicious. The salad was crispy fresh the dressing was incredible. The chicken was a well cooked, and the crust was crispy crunchy and just perfection. I think it was one of the second best salads I had at the park and each place I went to. I got a salad so this place was surprising. Everyone else also loved their salads. We tried out the chicken club sandwich, which is also pretty incredible. It is on the price of your side but honestly, it's the same as all the other food places in the park I would highly recommend this as a stop.
I got the "Big Dipper" cheeseburger (without caramelized onions), which is Disneyland's spinoff of the Applebee's o-m cheeseburger or the Tokyo burger trend. It was decent, nothing too remarkable. It tasted like a basic burger, but I liked the pepperoncinis in the cheese sauce. The patty could've been juicier though.
This Carsland diner is super cute, with its gas station theme, neon lights, and aqua colors. Make sure to go into the back dining room with a giant Riverview mirror - - very cool! There are little jukeboxes of each of the pickup windows, also very cool. This is a counter service place, kind of. Pay at the register and then go up to the windows to pick up your food. You can order ahead during busy times and put your order in on your phone when you arrive. You'll get a message on your tobyland app saying when your food is ready. We ordered two pastrami sandwiches and fries and fried chicken plates. Pastrami sandwiches were amazing and stacked high with pastrami. Fries were fine but nothing special. The Fried Chicken was absolutely delicious as was the mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. The mixed veggies were cold and didn't taste anything special. No special seasoning or even better that I could tell. This evening alone makes this place a great place to eat, and if you don't expect much from the veggies, then the food is really good too. Well we didn't order any hamburgers, I should say that they did not look great. So stick with the pastrami and Chicken in your golden!
I had the mango habanero chicken strips, which come with fries, ranch and green onions on top. These were surprisingly good, they were crispy with a slight kick. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, but my favorite spot is in the back where you get a view of radiator springs racers. Eating here while watching the cars race by is so fun!! read more
Came here with the fam for a day of fun and stopped by Flo's they had a delicious gingerbread shake for the holidays and I got their fried chicken, it was pretty tasty, there was plenty of seating and the people were really nice and helpful, over all good vibes in here! Was here on an August weekday afternoon with my nephews. One of them suggested this cafe since it is from the movie, Cars. We were first timers using the app so the timing on the app would be much later rather than standing in line. We were in line to order and it moved pretty quickly. The indoor seating was all taken including the ones in the back so, we went to the outdoor tables to eat lunch. The menu is pretty much fast food or diner food. I just had a simple burger and fries. One of the nephews had a Low and Slow Club sandwich that came with Cuties (Mandarin oranges) for the side. My youngest nephew had burger and fries as well. Our burgers were good and the sandwich was also. Fries as well and nothing overall remarkable. The diner is cute and just like the movie. The cashiers and everyone working work with efficiency as they get so many people in and out. The AC is blasting (which I liked on a 91 degree SoCal day) that I have popped in and out of their ladies room when in the Cars Land. We would probably return and try different menu items or otherwise try a different food spot at DCA. read more

Came to try the Mango-Habanero Chicken strips for Halloween. Haven't been to Flos in so long! I love the restaurant theme as a whole. The retro vibe is THE BEST and I love the music. It's also an amazing spot to sit in the air conditioning for lunch if it's hot outside. That Mango-Habanero Chicken Strips were good. They were fine, but nothing special. I wanted them to be spicier. They also were slightly dry. The group said that the dish kind of reminded them of orange chicken. The steak fries were pretty good and the ranch dressing was yummy. Wish there was more ranch dressing actually! Overall, it was fine. Not something I'd actively seek, but something I'd eat again. read more

We love eating at Flo's! I love the decor and the music is always good! The cast members are usually on top of things and keep the tables clean and ready for the next guests. On this trip, we got the new pastrami sandwich and it was pretty good. There was a good saltiness and it was so juicy! The shoestring fries were a bit cold and salty... I wish they'd served it with the steak fries. We also split a classic milkshake with cookie crumbles. Can't go wrong there! read more

If you are in Cars Land, you must try this place! The fried chicken is the best! Do not skip. You won't be disappointed. Sure, the wait is long but if you order it ahead, it is ready for you when you get there. Honestly if this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I would go weekly. The fried chicken here is the best in the entire park. It is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Well cooked, not chewy chicken either. Yes, they got beer. Fried Chicken and beer are the best combination. There are many tables for seating, mostly outside. The restroom is next to the restaurant. They have everything you need on the side. The line goes pretty quick for order but expect to wait if you didn't order ahead. Highly recommend this place for Fried Chicken. read more

I got the fried chicken plate here for dinner during my visit to California Adventure and it was a nice meal! There's nothing special about the food itself but it's pretty solid comfort food and the portion is very filling. I like this the famous chicken. It was amazing! It's feels like the taste same as McDonald in Indonesia. I mean it not same as in Mcdonald in USA. I really like the chicken skin, it's so crispy. One of the best milkshakes I've ever had! This combo of the Neapolitan is available at some other spots too, but the one from Flo's hits different. The flavors all complement each other nicely and the cookie gravel stuff adds a lovely texture. The spot has cute diner vibes with my fav being the checkered floor. I think about this chicken everyday, it's become a part of me. Best chicken I have ever tasted! The seasonal chicken was spicy but I dream of having it again! I don't often give restaurants 5 stars but this chicken deserves the recognition. It will be tradition to eat at Flo's Cafe every Disney trip! I enjoy the view of Radiator Springs from where I was sitting. The workers made sure everything was spotless and in addition, I didn't have to wait long to get my food. Vroom Vroom! This cafe has it going on. Love the whole concept of this place: A diner where you make a "pit-stop" to fuel up! The outdoor seating is arranged like a gas station. You "pull up" and "park it" to enjoy your food. Then take off to continue your Cars Land adventure. The food here is decent. I like the impossible burger, I typically get that every time. This joint has been a reliable eatery for me and my girlfriend every time we are in the park. We debated on other places to eat but the menus just didn't cut it for us. The menu here is great because of the familiar dishes that we know will be worth it. I love how easy it is to find a table spot inside due to the large vicinity and comfy diner feel. The views outside of the Cars Land is spectacular and gives you a perfect retro feel of the immersive land. I got the KaCheeseburger and added an extra topping to it: bacon. That costed about an extra $3.75 to add and in my opinion, wasn't really worth it. It was only 2 slices of bacon that were floppy and soft rather than hard and crispy, the way I like it. However, the rest of the cheeseburger was delicious. I really enjoyed the taste of it and it left me feeling so full. My girlfriend got the Fried Chicken plate ($19.99) which was hearty and filling. It was the half chicken portion fried and plated with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. She really enjoyed the quantity of meat given; last 2 times she remarked the chicken pieces were so small. The mashed potatoes and gravy was super delicious and complemented the chicken and vegetables so well. - convenient bathrooms next door - American diner style; french fries, cheeseburgers, etc - will leave you feeling satisfied - large seating areas to choose from - family friendly, large group-friendly read more
What a cool spot at DCA that very much makes you feel like you've time traveled back to the 80s. The whole Radiator Springs area has this kind of atmosphere, but there's just something about a diner that screams comfort food. I tried their burger & fries, and to my surprise, the fries were amazing! I normally prefer thinner fries that are crispier, but despite these being more wedge-shaped, they were actually very crispy to my liking. Inside park rating - pretty darn good! We mainly came cuz it's just so stinking cute. You can sit inside our out, but there is more seating outside. I had to clean my own table and it was not busy. But what a cute table. In terms of vegan option, it's only an Impossible burger. There is dairy and cheese in the other options. And watch the preparations. It's better to go to another quick serve for plantbased. The food is fine - we got the chicken. It's really pretty good. The plate is huge way too big. The mashed potatoes and gravy are good and very salty. They serve some season veg with it too! Overall this was better than we expected. read more

Very cool themed restaurant. Looks of little easter eggs lying around. Make sure to go inside and read the random stuff they have hanging on the walls. Flo's famous fried chicken was quite good. I hear it's the same fried chicken as what you get at The Plaza over in Disneyland. The stuffed jalapeno bacon cheeseburger was decent but a bit dry. Grateful for a dry place to sit inside and eat. It had started to rain late into the evening when we were ready to eat anyways so it worked out well for us. We had the Low & Slow Club with the steak fries. Fries are great but my sandwich didn't have much bacon. The turkey portion was good but I was sharing with my wife and I knew the second I tasted it, that she was not going to be a big fan. Don't know what dressing or mayo they use but I could tell she was not going to share much of this sandwich. I have to say that I did not think it was bad but it had a sweet, almost Cesar dressing flavor. She is the one that would complain if Miracle Whip is used instead of Mayo but to me, well I'm like "pass it over here!" We had ordered some mac n cheese across the way and brought it back to eat here with our sandwich and other goodies we had ordered. BTW, I didn't go across but got to taste the mac n cheese cups and I will have to review that next time because it was VERY good. read more

While you are traveling down Route 66, if your crew is ready for a fill up, stop by Flo's V8 Cafe. They have something for everybody in your Pit Crew with their great variety of classic foods, burgers, fried chicken, pot pie, salad, sandwiches and a Jr Pit Crew menu that offers Mac & Cheese, a burger, chicken and a turkey sandwich. They also offer a variety of beverages, beer, wine and shakes. They have two options to order food or drinks, you can order ahead of time, in the Disneyland app, and just go up to the window once its ready to pick up. Or stand in line and order your food with an V8 cafe order taker and your food will be ready at the pick up counter. My only complaint is the wait time to get food once ordered, is really long but worth the wait. Which can be hard when you have a hungry crew on your hands. Lesson learned, we now check the wait times on app, then order food on app while looking around Cars Land or walking over to Cars Land. Our go to order is the Low & Slow Club Sandwich, comes with steak fries or 2 Cutie oranges. No drink is included. The club sandwich is the perfect amount of Turkey, a strip or two of bacon(wish there were more), avocado, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. For your Jr. Pit Crew, they offer a menu perfect size for young kids or adults who are just looking for a small meal. My 6 year old granddaughter loves their Mack's Mac and Cheese, which comes in a small cup, includes a small drink, milk or water, also included is a small bag of carrots, and either steak fries or fresh fruit which is usually a Cutie Orange the last couple times we went. We usually save the carrot in bag or Cutie to eat later when out little is hungry since she can never eat the entire meal. Flo's is a great place to sit and relax for a while. You can eat inside or outside in the front of the restaurant and people watch or in the back near the Cars ride. The back seating area is quiet as not many people walking on the back trail but you can hear and watch the Cars ride which is very relaxing to watch. It can get chilly back there though as its like a wind tunnel in the fall and winter when we go. read more

I have never seen any of the Cars films. (Yes, I know how much I'm missing out.) I had lunch here yesterday with my partner when we were out and about at Disney California Adventure Park. Surprisingly, the line wasn't very long to order even though it was the day after Memorial Day. The restaurant, which has a retro 1950s theme inside, was fairly clean and not too crowded. I had a Ka-Cheeseburger combo, and my partner had a Dinoco Blue Cheese Burger combo. Overall, the food was average, but I experienced slight indigestion after lunch. Not sure if it was the beef patty that may or may not have been made fresh or was cooked straight out from the freezer. The prices are obviously on the more expensive side because the restaurant is located inside a theme park, but I will probably select another restaurant or cafe to eat if I come back. read more
