    Not So Little Chicken Sandwich
    Fion L.

Pym Test Kitchen is one of the most unique quick-service dining spots at Disneyland, offering oversized and shrunken menu items that brilliantly embrace the Ant-Man theme. We placed our order through the Disneyland app using mobile pickup, which made the process exceptionally convenient. Our food was ready within our designated pickup window, and the friendly cast members ensured everything went smoothly. Although seating is exclusively outdoors, the dining area was clean, well-maintained, and it was fairly easy to find a table during our visit. There was a large self-serve station stocked with sauces, utensils, and a soda fountain, allowing guests to refill drinks and pick up any extra condiments or utensils as needed. **Not So Little Chicken Sandwich: 5/5** This sandwich tasted every bit as impressive as it looked. The fried chicken patty was incredibly crispy and juicy, while the tater tots had an irresistible golden crunch. Bright, refreshing acidity from the cabbage slaw balanced the richness of each bite, complemented by the sweet-savory teriyaki and spicy red chili sauces for a dynamic medley of bold flavors. The tiny bun, playful and true to the restaurant's concept, was a clever touch that enhanced the sandwich's overall appeal. Best of all, the portion was surprisingly generous, keeping me full for the rest of the day. **Humongous Taco Salad: 5/5** This was the perfect lighter option to enjoy alongside the chicken sandwich. The oversized crispy taco shell delivered a satisfying crunch, while the filling featured fresh lettuce, creamy avocado chunks, sweet corn, bell peppers, and well-seasoned chicken. Cotija cheese added a pleasant salty finish, and a drizzle of chipotle ranch tied everything together with a smoky, creamy kick. Despite its impressive size, the taco never felt overly heavy, making it enjoyable from start to finish. Pym Test Kitchen delivers a memorable dining experience that fits seamlessly into the immersive atmosphere of Avengers Campus. Between its creative menu, well-executed dishes, and hearty portions, it's a restaurant that's well worth a visit.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat at California Adventure park. It's located at avengers campus. You can order through mobile as app or in person. They're known for their food to come in big sizes. Their large pretzel was huge and it's definitely shareable for 4 people. Their taco salad is super refreshing and stacked with chicken and veggies. The fresh ingredients pair well with the crispy shell. Their nachos were so delicious. It's not your traditional nachos with several tortilla chips but it comes with 4 big pieces and it's packed on top. Their pasta is my favorite. It has a hint of spice to it. They have self serve drinks, utensils, and condiments. Theres a good amount of tables outside and I haven't had an issue with getting a table even during lunch rush.

    1) Cookies & Cream Cold Brew 6.5/10 2) Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese 8.2/10 I want to start off by saying I'm not really into cold brew. It definitely wasn't bad. I did finish it, it's just not my usual go-to-drink but definitely not terrible. If you like cold brew, it's definitely one of the better tasting cold brews I've had. The Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese was good. I could have done without the garnishes on top, but it was fun and added a pop of color and texture. The tators were ok - not bad, but not very memorable either. Average. I enjoyed the grilled cheese more than I thought I would and that's probably why my rating is so high. Lol. I liked it and thought it was good, but I also wasn't expecting much.

Pym's Test Kitchen is usually my go-to for a quick bite and drink in DCA. It did started going downhill recently (2026) compared to 2022-2023. This is the perfect spot for a quick breakfast & lunch in DCA. They're located in Avengers Campus. Pym's Test Lab is the bar with fun alcoholic cocktails. Just like any other quick service, it can get extremely busy so mobile ordering ahead will be helpful. They only offer outdoor seating; no indoor seating. Finding an open seat can be a challenge on peak days. Cast members are quick & efficient, and they're on top of assisting with emptying trays. They offer American dishes that are Ant-Man themed, hence its name. The Calculated Breakfast is my favorite dish before starting the day. The Quantum Pretzel is my favorite thing to share. The Not-so-little Chicken Sandwich is my favorite dish bc the chicken is crispy & seasoned well. They offer seasonal dishes that can be a hit or miss. Skip the Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese. Their seasonal cold brews are sweet. The alcohol at Pym's Test Lab is strong & sweet! I noticed portion sizes have gotten smaller with increased prices. I hate how greedy they've gotten. Smh. The food and drinks do the job. It's quick & efficient.

We've had lunch here multiple times and have always liked our meals, and decided to try breakfast here today. It's odd to me how few food spots serve breakfast (or even open before 10:30am) yet the parks are open so early. My husband had the chilequiles and said it the portion was good for the price, but the chips were a little soggy. The latter part was odd because we waited 5-10 for the food after it was preceded, so I thought we were getting a fresh batch. He paired it with a beermosa, which is what it sounds like. It's served in a plastic cup you can keep if you want to (a measuring cup with a spout, basically). I wasn't a fan of the drink - beer and OJ? Gross, lol. I had the egg/bacon/tots meal and liked everything. It came with this weird mini toast, which just tasted like white bread, yet the red circles in it were slightly sweet. My only critique is that the eggs are served on top of a piece of paper, so you'll want to eat those first or I suspect you'll get paper bits in your bites. With AP discount, everything was $39 after tax, which we thought was a great deal for a meal at the parks with decent portions.

It was overall a great drink but definitely on the sweeter and acidic side! I would get again if I were to come around next time!

I visited Pym Test Kitchen during LNY celebration at DCA mainly for their Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese. It was my first time and this science lab theme restaurant really impressed me with their ambiance and decoration, love the Marvel and Ant-Man theme so much. I don't see any indoor seating but they do have a spacious patio with tables and chairs. The portion here is enormous, supersized food likes the pretzel or not so little chicken sandwich that is definitely sharable. The line was not so long but I did waited for a good 20 minutes before placing my order with the cast member - who was friendly and efficient but was only by herself at the moment. So, totally recommend place your order ahead of time through the app. Waiting time in line was quite long but my order was ready under 10 minutes, I got Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese with Tator Tots and Proton Potation (Vodka, Lemonade and Grenadine with Cherry-flavored Popping Spheres) for drink. The grilled cheese was pretty good in flavor, it was savory and spicy, loaded with pork belly, but really really oily, I gave up after 2 bites. Meanwhile, the Tator Tots have a really nice crunchy texture to it, very crispy and tasty, I really like it. The Proton Potation was just okay, I personally doesn't feel there is a lot of alcohol in it but the cherry popping boba's taste was artificial. Should have asked for the straw or spoon because I ended up wasting 80% of the popping boba after I finished the drink. Overall, I really like the concept but my experience at Pym Test Kitchen for LNY special food item was just okay. It still a pretty cool spot to check it out and taste test their yummy Tator Tots!

Spinach and artichoke grilled cheese sandwich
    Emma N.

I got the spinach and artichoke grilled cheese sandwich, which was a limited time entree at the time. I liked the Parmesan crusted bread, but I thought the filling was really heavy and too creamy for my liking. I can see other people liking it, though. I've been here a few other times, and I'd say the food here is just okay.

Humongous taco salad and philly steak sandwich. Refillable coke zero! Would eat here again nice large outdoir covered patio employees are super nice here! I liked the condiment has ranch dressing! Taco salad was good but chicken could be a bit better...philly sandwich was silly with some funny chips on top loved the crunchy tater tots! Took pics of other food that would appeal to your kids! See beautiful tulip tree love summer time!

    Not so little chicken sandwich
    Catherine Z.

We got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely smaller than some of the photos we've seen online. Wonderfully seasoned and crispy, and the tater tots were delicious! There was a bit of a wait though so be prepared for that and to share tables with other groups on busy times

    Humongous Taco Salad
    Caitlin V.

I came super hungry, so I thought everything tasted amazing. My favorite was the Humongous Taco Salad. Loved everything in it, so every bite was tasty and delicious. The Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese was a little too rich and heavy for me. The tots had good seasoning to them though. My favorite cold brew at Disneyland/California Adventure is the Cookies and Cream Cold Brew. 10/10! The Cold Brew Black Caf at Galaxy's Edge was previously my top choice. This was my first time trying Pym Kitchen. The interior decor is so cute. I especially like the oversized pretzels and humongous ketchup and mustard at the utensils station.

    Chilaquiles
    Kristen B.

We stopped at Pym Test Kitchen for breakfast while visiting Disney California Adventure. We tried the chilaquiles and the Calculated Breakfast. The chilaquiles were just okay. The chips were a bit soggy, which took away from the dish, although I did expect it wouldn't be super authentic. The eggs were good, and the pickled onions on top were actually really tasty and added nice flavor. The bacon was very thin and a little greasy. The Calculated Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything overly exciting. Overall though, the service was nice and the ambiance is always fun and themed really well. We still love visiting California Adventure, and Pym Test Kitchen is a convenient and interesting place to stop while exploring the park.

First time here the food was great! The pretzel is massive and the beer cheese was good too ! The chilaquiles were delicious and the drinks were cute but tasted delicious

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

The inside of the restaurant is a smaller establishment so I can see why reservations would be difficult. They have a plethora of drinks! Mostly specializing in specialty rum cocktails. Ordered the ritual of the Queen which was a specialty drink with tequila and coconut rum. Very delicious! For food our table shared the Loco Moco and chicken katsu. Both delicious!
