Dr. Pietsch was amazing. I had a same day appointment with her and her team. I was in a lot of pain and I had to get a tooth pulled. I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist and she put me at ease. I also tend to not numb up very easily. She took her time during the appointment to make sure that I was comfortable and not in pain. I will be going back to become established as a patient. I was very impressed with her and her assistant. This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had! Both the initial consultation as well as having two crowns put in. First off, let me just start by saying if you don't visit a dentist regularly you should. If you were like me and continue putting off regular visits because you thought brushing on your own was enough then sadly my friend, you are mistaken. I'm definitely one of those people who has never been a fan of going to the Dentist. My wife shames me for it after her regular cleanings. So after a lingering toothache, I took her advice and made an appointment with her dentist office. I reached out by email to detail my fear of dentist and while I rather not go in and see one, I must for the sake of my overall dental hygiene. From the initial email response through my entire experience, every interaction was friendly, empathetic and reassuring. The office is well located and the staff is friendly. Literally, everyone was friendly, including the other patients in the office waiting room who made quick small talk. I was explained everything and got great communication throughout the appointment. Most of my questions were answered before I had to ask them because of how thorough the explanations are. Listen, part of the trepidation of going to a dentist is not only the fear of something being pain inducing but also, there's the idea that your dentist and their team won't be friendly. Rest assured, you won't have anything to be afraid of here. I'm so glad I finally made my first appointment and that this will be our family dentistry. My wife was already been a patient here for 15 years, and now I'm happy to say that despite all the dental work I need to complete (again, don't avoid the dentist like I did), I'm actually looking forward to going back. This is my first time writing a review. I feel so lucky to visit Floss. Everyone there is very kind, compassionate, and professional. I would strongly recommend this dentistry to anyone needing to see a dentist. I didn't take good care of my teeth when I was little and now I have many big dental issues, such as bite problems, big cavities, missing teeth, and needing a crown after a root canal. I have visited a couple of dental clinics and I think Floss is the best! My first visit was an emergency early in the morning after experiencing a severe toothache that kept me awake the whole night. At the front desk, Tina is very kind and organized. Tina answered my emergency call and got me seen by Dr. Agnes very quickly. Dr. Agnes was very knowledgeable and kind, I was also impressed by her dental assistant Samantha, who is very sweet and comforted me a lot when I was in severe pain. After a dental examination, they referred me to a great endodontist to get my problem solved. I was amazed by their prompt response and great treatment. I was also seen by Dr. Peitsch for a comprehensive exam. She is very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and answered all my questions. Going to Floss is the most enjoyable dentist experience possible! I moved to Seattle two years ago, and was faced with the daunting task of finding a new dentist. Finding a new dentist is always terrifying because some offices are aggressive with fillings or use extremely outdated methods or technology. I found Floss via Yelp and decided to give it a go because of the positive reviews and convenient location. On my first visit, my dental hygienist, Kelsey, was perfectly thorough during exam. She not only explained everything that was going on with my teeth, but showed me with x-rays and photographs. I can tell preventative care and oral health is of the upmost importance at this office, because I had never been educated like this before! I am also impressed at how quick and painless the cleanings are here. They use a special tool, so that there is less scraping involved. I have now had two cleanings done here and it is by far the most comfortable experience I've ever had at any other office. This dentist office has it all: updated technology, a preventative/health-focused philosophy, and hygienists who genuinely care about your wellbeing! read more

I have been coming to this clinic since I was 2 1/2 years old. I'm now into my 55th year of coming to here to get my dental care. I got started there with Dr. Jack Nichols (go Celts!) throughout my childhood. And it was always stress-free way back then, plus with the added bonus of seeing many of the local sports stars (the SuperSonics were always around and then the early Seahawks) was a big treat as a teenager. When Dr Nichols looked forward to retirement, he gave the next dentist (to whom he would sell his practice) a trial run - and he asked ALL of his clients to provide feedback. The first guy was awful and it was nice that Dr N asked me my opinion (I was about 20). The next trial run was with Dr Forrest and Dr Green - a married dentist team. They were great! And so Dr. N could retire feeling secure that his office culture and his team would remain intact. Dr Green, and now Dr Pietsch have provided me with superb dental care. Because of my early dental care, I have had very few cavities and have been bossed around by some of the nicest and sternest hygienists to be found. (I have 2 fillings...) When I first met Dr Pietsch, she got me into getting my gums repaired (ouch - but necessary). I'm happy to see that the culture that was begun by Dr Nichols is still in good shape and can't imagine ever going anywhere else. Keep up the good work! read more

I like my teeth. They happen to be pretty useful for eating, which might be one of my favorite hobbies (did I say hobby? I know, my doctor will not be happy if she saw that :/). I also have never been traumatized by the dentist, and I suppose I can attribute that to my on and off again relationship with Dr. Green's clinc. I say on and off, because my family's dental provider was switched for a couple of years to this horrible place which insisted that once a year dental cleanings were acceptable (and no, this is not acceptable). Which is why my family and I were so happy to return back to Dr. Green's new office in Wedgwood (before, it used to be on Sandpoint Way). Yay. While I have known Dr. Green longer, Dr. Pietsch is also excellent and quite nice. I never specifically set an appointment when either are working, which is nice because I'm not playing Russian Roulette in the dentist's chair. The front desk is also fab! It's funny, because at the end of the appointment, they always ask when my next appointment will be in six months. And since I don't even know what I'm doing in two weeks, I always say I'll call :) And when I do call, I'm usually able to get an appointment easily that's relatively soon (but this is also cause I'm in school, so I have some flexibility. Otherwise, I don't recommend my method). While I know I always need to floss better, the hygenists get my teeth pretty clean and I'm always a sucker for the bag of goodies at the end-- especially the flossing gadget. I should also note that they referred me to a great oral and maxillofacial surgeon when I needed my wisdom teeth out (which I should probably review soon)! Thanks for keepin' my teeth healthy! P.S. I work in the medical industry and let me tell you, Dr. Pietsch is the best dentist I've ever been to. She is very proactive and gentle with my teeth, and she is a great communicator. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable about insurance and appointments. I had a friend visit from out of the country and he needed to see a dentist. Dr. Pietsch squeezed him into the schedule and helped him, even without insurance he was able to pay out of pocket. The rates are competitive with industry standards, but the quality of care if second to none. I highly recommend Dr. Pietsch to anyone looking for a dentist. read more

Today was my second time here. I am so very thankful for their whole staff. I admittedly was that crazy person waiting for their phone lines to open; I promptly called at 7am and was greeted very politely and offered a same day (2 hours from then) appointment for my semi-dental emergency. The receptionist (Kathy?) is always just the sweetest and my dental technician was absolutely fantastic. Dr Green is always thoughtful and listens to my every question. My son and I always receive top-notch care and now other members of our family are also patients. My son now lives out of state but continues to go to Floss on his visits home and will continue to do so as we're so pleased with this practice.
