She evaluated me, explained exactly what can be done and an hour later, I had a beautiful new tooth. It is some type of a filling that she molded and ground to form a perfect tooth for me. All was painless, and the staff was fantastic as usual. Thank you Dr Lee. The tooth you created is "simplee" artistic. Your compassion and professionalism is wonderful. ( And for those of you that are worried about the cost of something like this, the price was unbelievably reasonable!)

Though please note that there was a change in ownership and some of the reviews actually belong to the service and care of a Dr. Nelson - who retired. I also waited till I had a second visit before sitting down and writing my experience. The first time I had a good hygienist who was friendly and thorough. The second time I had an asian woman who stood the entire scaling time. That was a first for me and I'm one who goes every 6 months. I have been looking for a new practice since my previous beloved one no longer was in network for us. The two exams I had with Dr. Lee with were very brief. She wasn't particularly personable but coupled with the fact that she didn't give me the time to fully examine my toothache complaint was the biggest issue I had. She had basically advised me to come back for a more thorough exam because she didn't see anything on the x-ray and visible decay from the biting surface. Fast forward less than 6 mo later, I found out I had decay underneath my sealant that was causing my sensitive. I came from an excellent practice that was extremely proactive and on top of patient education for both hygiene and gum care. I was always given good information and options as well as a thorough explanation when I showed an interest or had additional questions. That was very much not the case here. Perhaps to someone who only needs a cleaning and is comfortable with that level of practice, this could work for them but I was truly disappointed with the level of service and care and am seeking care with another provider.

First…read moreone was to put on a new crown for cracked tooth that was seen by my endodontist during a root canal procedure. Dr. Tadang said he could not see it, so he just put in a new filling. I ended up having the tooth extracted several months later. Could it have been saved if Dr. Tadang did what my endodontist told him to? Maybe. Second procedure was to replace a different crown. He took an impression with his scanner and told me to wait until it was approved by my insurance. He calls me several weeks later and says my crown is approved but will not install it unless I pay him $150 for a gingivectomy that he never told me I needed. He was basically holding the crown hostage. There's a reason why he waited until the crown was approved - so I would hand over the additional money in order to get the crown for free. I went ahead and agreed to it because I just wanted it the ordeal to be over. He installed the new crown but my pain just became worse. He told me to go see an endondontist. I saw two of them and they both told me the root canal was ok but the crown may have been placed incorrectly. Dr. Tadang refuses to see me and even put a note in my file, so when I call his staff just tells me that I cannot come to the office and "Dr. Tadang has already helped you and go somewhere else." Totally inexcusable behavior. Btw, on my first appointment to this office, the staff was outside on the street talking and looking at their phones when I came to check in for my appointment, knowing that a patient was scheduled to come in.

My teeth are really healthy so I don't see the main dentist often but the couple of interactions I've had with her have been very kind. But my absolute most favorite person to talk to and get my cleanings done with is Huang. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to. She's careful and wont wet you and poke you on accident. She explains everything she does. And the whole cleaning experience feels like a spa! They even give you a hot towel to clean your chin/mouth area up when you're done. There's snacks in there and drinks. Everything is clean and the outside area is adorable. I don't have trouble parking and I don't have to wait. Just walk in and they are ready for my appointment! I saw a video online recently that said it's actually very difficult to find good dentists to do cleanings because many are shady and will only have their dental assistants polish your teeth. I do not have that experience here. The technology is modern and advanced, even some of my old dental places didn't have what they have here. Note: I am a cash paying customer. I do not go through insurance. It's a little expensive compared to other places but you get what you pay for. The experience is much much much better here. And for anyone worried about dealing with people who have accents from their home country, that's also not the case here. They speak fluent English with no accent. Which I know is a weird comment but I think some people care about that. So don't worry about it. It's also super cool that the dentist and hygienist are sisters lol. Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

As someone who is absolutely terrified of the dentist, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Flossophie Dental. I had avoided dental care for years due to severe anxiety, and when I cracked a filling, I found Flossophie through my insurance provider. I was so nervous that I brought my husband with me for moral support. From the moment I walked in, however, my fears began to melt away. The office itself is beautiful, open, calming, and welcoming. It honestly felt more like a spa than a dental office. Even more impressive was the staff. Every single person I interacted with seemed genuinely happy to be there and passionate about what they do. That positive energy was contagious. Dr. Esther was incredible. She took her time with me, answered every question, and treated me with extraordinary kindness and compassion. When I shared my struggles with anxiety, depression, and the dental hygiene challenges that came with them, there was not a hint of judgment or shame. Instead, I was met with understanding, encouragement, and respect. Everything was explained thoroughly, which helped me feel informed and in control throughout the entire process. In fact, during my two fillings, I became so relaxed that I actually fell asleep! Going from nearly frozen with fear to comfortably taking a nap in the dental chair is something I never thought possible. I received orthodontic treatment from Dr. Bennett and his team, and I can confidently say this is one of the best dental clinics I've ever experienced. From the front desk to the dental assistants, everyone is professional, kind, and attentive. The level of service feels truly high-end. I had such a great experience with Dr. Hsu and her team! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hsu was incredibly thorough during my first visit and took the time to do a full comprehensive exam while explaining everything clearly and making me feel comfortable the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and pays close attention to detail. They also squeezed me in a couple weeks after my initial appointment to get a couple fillings done. Flossophie is wonderful. My faves about Flossophie include Dr. Bennet Lee, Dr. Esther Lee, amazing staff, relaxing atmosphere, watching Disney movies playing on the ceiling, and appointment reminders by text/email. I was so lucky to have found Flossophie for my Invisalign. They removed my brackets for my wedding photos, and then put them back on afterwards -- I didn't even know this was an option! All this happened when everything was complicated by COVID. They made everything about Invisalign so pleasant and easy that I couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else. I was referred by a friend and coming from a long distance to Flossophie Dental +Ortho office ( 35 miles:) is it worth it? ( after my treatment) Yes, absolutely !! Greeted ,warm welcome and had the latest technology x ray done by Maria then I had Dr Esther Lee carefully explains and consult what would be best for my case . She evaluated me, explained exactly what can be done and an hour later, I had a beautiful new tooth. It is some type of a filling that she molded and ground to form a perfect tooth for me. All was painless, and the staff was fantastic as usual. Thank you Dr Lee. The tooth you created is "simplee" artistic. Your compassion and professionalism is wonderful. ( And for those of you that are worried about the cost of something like this, the price was unbelievably reasonable!)

Though please note that there was a change in ownership and some of the reviews actually belong to the service and care of a Dr. Nelson - who retired. I also waited till I had a second visit before sitting down and writing my experience. The first time I had a good hygienist who was friendly and thorough. The second time I had an asian woman who stood the entire scaling time. That was a first for me and I'm one who goes every 6 months. I have been looking for a new practice since my previous beloved one no longer was in network for us. The two exams I had with Dr. Lee with were very brief. She wasn't particularly personable but coupled with the fact that she didn't give me the time to fully examine my toothache complaint was the biggest issue I had. She had basically advised me to come back for a more thorough exam because she didn't see anything on the x-ray and visible decay from the biting surface. Fast forward less than 6 mo later, I found out I had decay underneath my sealant that was causing my sensitive. I came from an excellent practice that was extremely proactive and on top of patient education for both hygiene and gum care. I was always given good information and options as well as a thorough explanation when I showed an interest or had additional questions. That was very much not the case here. Perhaps to someone who only needs a cleaning and is comfortable with that level of practice, this could work for them but I was truly disappointed with the level of service and care and am seeking care with another provider.

The color of the crown was not quite there and even though I couldn't see it in the dental office, he pointed it out. We decided to keep the crown on temporarily so that I could whiten my teeth a bit so that my teeth color would be closer to the crown color. Anyways I am super pleased with how it looks now and he was able to fill out some gaps on the front teeth with some bonding. I am finally able to smile and not see my old discolored crown and gap in the gum line.

I don't recall what it called but it's like a pen they put around your teeth and it takes a digital picture of your teeth. Dr. Bae will tell you what procedures you need now and what can wait. There is absolutely no pressure. Dr Bae and his staff are all about making you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Angelica for your teeth cleaning appointments. I also have to mention that if you need a crown...you can have it the same day. How awesome is that? No temporary crown and waiting weeks for it to come in. That's so yesterday! Dr. Bae also has their own dental plan. It is a so worth it. As we all know most Dental insurance is not so great. I also have to mention how great Dr. Bae's office staff is. Again thinking weeks away, they scheduled me next day. Dr Smolkin did the procedure. Not a very talkative fellow but then he was rather busy. I'll take less talking for next day service any time. So Jackie and Gabby helped me out at the front desk and were friendly and efficient. Good people you'd enjoy talking to if they didn't have to work. After my insurance coverage I was told I would pay $600 out-of-pocket. Soon after I discovered I was pregnant so did not go back to get the laser cleaning done. The health of my gums was a huge concern during my pregnancy since pregnancies are already tough on one's teeth. After my pregnancy, I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion on the health of my gums. They told me my teeth and gums were in excellent health and just really needed a good cleaning. My cleaning was done by the new dentist and my teeth and gums fill amazing again. This place is not what it used to be. It is very money driven now and it's disappointing. I have now changed my primary dental office to the new dentist who is able to take care of me without needing a $600 laser cleaning. It feels like they took my concern and tried to profit off of it as much as they could.
