What a great place to have breakfast, brunch, or lunch. For starters, it's in pristine Key Biscayne, so you will have to contend with golf carts and the leisure set. It's worth it. One look at their pastries and you'll be glad you came--I was. BTW, they also have a great breakfast menu that's worth considering if you have the time to sit at one of their tables and be served. But I was in a hurry and just grabbed a few pastries and went on my way. The savory croissants are special. I had the Brisket B!tch and the Caccio a Peppe croissants--wow! These croissants are carefully crafted and pack a punch. Of the two, my favorite was the Caccio a Peppe. Both were great. I also had the Almond croissant and can honestly say it was one of the best I've had. It's a substantial amount of food, so either share it or just get that and call it a day. This is a bustling pastry and coffee shop on Key Biscayne - ideal walking distance from the park and beach. We picked up two coffee drinks, a brisket empanada and guava croissant. The experience was very fast (they were quite busy) - it's grab and go inside with a window that opens up to the patio for order fulfillment. Speaking of the patio, it was both spacious and beautifully shaded. This bakery features a variety of empanadas, sweet and savory pastries along with your standard coffee menu. I visited Flour & Weirdoughs for the first time today - and what a cute bakery! It is a very small location - with no indoor seating and a line out the door; but it has a giant (mostly covered) patio with plenty of seating. I opted for a vanilla oat milk latte, a caprese danish (on special), and a chocolate croissant. The caprese danish was honestly heaven; it was savory, cheesy and the pesto was the perfect touch - they even offered to heat it up for me! My coffee was strong and was very refreshing - it was definitely stronger on the coffee flavor than on vanilla, so I think true coffee lovers will enjoy it. Finally, the chocolate croissant was delicious and had a perfect amount of chocolate in it. However, it may have been the hot/humid day, but my croissant was essentially leaking butter, so the bottom was soggy. (Again, likely the hot day, but wanted to note it.) If I can give this place 10 stars, I would!! WOW, where do I begin?! The location is wonderful and it is cozy and lovely inside, however, parking can be a bit difficult but it is definitely worth the patience. The server (I forgot his name but will update this review when I go back because he deserves a MAJOR shoutout) is soooo nice, welcoming, funny and attentive--love him! We went for breakfast after a Key Biscayne bridge run so we were HUNGRY!! I had eggs and toast with a side of bacon, my bf had the steak and eggs and we even ordered the salmon toast (forgot to get a pic :( womp) and everything was out of this world!! Perfectly cooked and exactly as ordered. Since there is always room for dessert we shared the matcha cookie which I literally dream about! The croissants are to die for!!! They're huge!! If you like to eat you'll probably eat 2 if not then 1 is just fine. 1 croissant is a whole meal. My personal favorite was the tomato with Basel. Another top was the brisket croissant. If you're in the mood for croissants just go here 10/10. The service was good, fast pace, so make sure to get there early or you're definitely going to miss out on some of the better picks. Unfortunately they do sell out pretty fast. I came here for their famous brisket croissants. TBH, it wasn't as good as I imagined because the meat and mustard (?) basically weighs down the dough inside so it's not as airy/fluffy (especially if you don't get a fresh batch. But it basically tastes like a pastrami croissant sandwich which I'm not mad about and is tasty. Also picked up the egg danish and a cinnamon roll. They're all pretty big in size. The danish had bacon in it as well. Parking: convenient. If there's not enough space in front of the shop, there's parking next door as well. Other: casual spot with only outdoor seating. We purchased some baked treats to take with us to the beach and we could not have been happier! We loved the croissants with chorizo, they were tasty and flaky and absolutely delicious! One croissant is a meal! The alfajores melted in our mouth! My only regret was only getting one order. We also got a danish with pistachios and cherries that was wonderful. If it's weird to love Flour & Weirdoughs, then I do not want to be normal. This bakery is awesome! Tucked away in the old Oasis location, Flour & Weirdoughs is putting out some really amazing baked goods. First and foremost their sourdough is to die for. It has the perfect bite with balanced flavor. Have it on a sandwich or alone with butter, just get your hands on it. I am writing this review thinking about making the drive over since my loaf just ran out. *pro tip: they will slice the bread for you* Things I have tried: +BLT: I truly haven't met a BLT I don't like, and in all my BLT tasting some reign more superior than others. You can tell when the ingredients are quality since it's such a simple sandwich. That's the case here. I would say this is definitely shareable especially so you can have room to share some empanadas. +EMPANADAS: I have tried the ham and cheese, the jalapeño and corn and the pork. My favorite are the ham and cheese. I'm a sucker for a good ham and cheese empanada, and these are great. +CAPRESE: I have also tried the caprese sandwich on a baguette. What I love about the sandwiches I have tried here is that they really let the ingredients speak for themselves. When you start with great bread, you are going to have a great sandwich. That's the case here. +CAFFEINATED BEVERAGES: I am also a fan of their iced matcha which you can add CBD to. Sometimes my afternoon coffee can get me gitter-y and unproductive so a matcha with CBD helps me get that pep in my step without the gitters. +WINE: Ok so yes this is a bakery, and yes they have wine. Natural wine is all the rage these days, and Flour & Weirdoughs is offering a selection of natural wines by the bottle. I tried the rosé and loved it. There is parking out front but if you cannot find parking you can snag a spot down the street at the church. I've been seeing this place pop up all over insta and HAD to try their it's brisket bitch croissant. It was everything you'd expect it to be and more. I wish I could each the brisket croissant all day every day. We ordered sandwiches so the croissant was perfect while we waited. I got the caprese sandwich with prosciutto. I think the thing I liked most about it was the bread! I actually wish I hadn't gotten the prosciutto because it's hard to take a bite of, but it was still yummy. Love this little gem! Been hearing about this place for a while now and was pleasantly surprised as I thought this was only a bakery. It's a bakery in the morning and a night the wine and pizza side opens. So lovely. We didn't have a reservation and sat on the stools by the windows. The weather has been so perfect, so the windows were opened and the vibes were perfect. Sunset and a lovely breeze coming in, along with great service. The oysters were perfect and tasted fresh. For appetizer we got the pan con tomate, which was very tasty. Love the bread! We shared a pizza with prosciutto and arugula which was delish. I stopped by today to pick up pastries before heading to Bill Baggs State Park. I ordered the pastries online last night and picked them up this morning. Staff was very nice and pleasant. The bakery is very cute and nicely decorated. The outside seating is great, and spacious. I ordered a croissant, blueberry muffin, chocolate chip cookie, and guava and cheese pastelito along with an iced latte. The pastries were very tasty, especially the croissant which was my favorite. The blueberry muffin was moist. The guava and cheese was good, there was just a lot of pastry to get through before getting to the guava/cheese. The iced latte was quite bitter and tasted a bit burnt on the espresso side. I'm not sure what caused the taste to be that way. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I don't know what took us so long to go try it, but now that we have, we will never look at a croissant the same way again. They have by far the best croissants in Miami!! The quality of their ingredients is top notch. They also have some of the best empanadas we've had. To me the highlight was the brisket croissant it was so delicious and fluffy. We ordered 2 iced lattes, empanada, and croissant. The iced coffee were average we had to ask for more ice because they initially only put a little bit, but they fixed it and it was good. We came biking and they have a small spot upfront to leave your bikes. The place inside is small and I wish they had the indoor seating open but currently there was a table blocking what seems to be the indoor seating. Great quality product in that aspect but I have tried their sandwiches three different times now and they come kinda soggy and it's luck of the draw if you're getting the very small tail end of the baguette. I spent my Friday evening at Next Door, the wine bar located just next to Flour & Weirdoughs. When we entered the server was very friendly and told us about the happy hour choices. My friends and I decided to opt for a bottle of white wine. The server let us taste two bottles so we could pick our favorite.
