So about an hour later I popped up at the salon as a walk in and asked for my daughters locks to be twisted and for me a wash and blow dry . Imiani washed my hair and blow dried it .. my hair looked amazing and she was really nice .then Imiani did my daughters hair .. my daughter has dread locks and Imiani retwisted my baby's hair and did a cute little style. This salon is perfect for natural sisters and I loved my experience. Next time I fly back in town I will come here again

They offer you coffee, wine, and tea while you're being serviced. It adds a nice touch. The prices and the nickel and diming for add-ons are a bit expensive in my opinion compared to other salons... but the convenience makes everything worth it.

I honestly should have know better when I realized no one in the shop had their natural hair showing. The damage isn't extreme but its disheartening after I trusted a salon. They also didn't give me anything special for my hydration treatment, my hair feels the same as before aside from the trim. If you don't care about your curls go right ahead and book, but if you're a curly girl, think twice. I came in for a Silk press with hydration treatment and trim. This was my first visit and I was dealing with major split ends over the past few months and know I needed a proper trim as I have been growing out a permed, pixie for about two years. Yoycelyn did the majority of my service and she was amazing!!! As a tender headed - curly girl I appreciated that she took her time sectioning, detangling, and answering my questions including how long she would leave me at the dryer. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was issues with time management. I had to wait 30 minutes to get started (I had an appointment not a walk in) with a different stylish who, after shampooing, did not section my hair when applying the hydration treatment, and, then, I was left under the dryer for 40+ minutes until I pushed the hood up on my own accord. After that, Yoycelyn took over and was a gem. However, these delays end up turning a 1hr 15 minute appointment into 3 hours. I will update my review depending on how my hair reverts. If all goes well, I would go back, but book Yoycelyn specifically!

I booked the Braid Rehab package which consisted of a wash, hydration/steam treatment, trim and blow dry. I did not get my hair pressed since I was getting braids the next day. Of the three previous ones I visited, one didn't have the color I wanted, one did not have a qualified colorist, and the last one required a consultation then a week to two week before an available appointment even though a sign posted states that walkins were welcomed. I walked into Egyptian Hair Styles on Saturday, spoke with the owner, told her what I wanted, and she informed me that any of the stylists could do what I wanted and assured me they have the color I wanted. The next day, Sunday, I did a walkin and was able to get exactly what I wanted. Both days I went, the employees greeted me promptly and was pleasant throughout my entire visit. I was seated in a chair quickly and the stylist began working on my hair. She asked what I wanted and delivered just that. To top it off, the price was reasonable. Parking is shared with other stores in the plaza, but there was plenty space available. I would definitely recommend the team here and would definitely return for and service I need.

Upon visiting, we were both thrilled at how quickly we got in and out (less than an hour) for a wash, dry, and style. We both even took our teenage daughters, too. My girlfriend first realized that something wasn't right upon washing her daughter's hair after only going to George a couple of times. She noticed the texture was straight n stringy n the back and it just didn't feel right. When washing her own hair, she also noticed the same thing and told me about it. Needless to say, when I washed my own head later (in preparation for summer knotless braids), I realized that my hair felt thinner and lighter towards the ends. So, I decided to give it a break from the heat this summer. Upon going to my main stylist, today, she initially felt my hair was ok, but would know for sure once she washed it. Upon washing it, she was upset and stated "my head is not the same head!" She informed me that they were using chemicals on our hair (e.g. relaxer) and we didn't even know it. I have been natural for over 14 years. Apparently, they add chemicals to make our natural hair more manageable, so they can quickly get us in and out. However, it totally destroys our once healthy full head of hair. I will NOT be going back, but definitely felt that I needed to provide this review to inform others as I was once sending George very high praises! Not anymore...

My sister's wedding was in 24 hours and I needed my hair done. Reggie Jaye was very responsive and got back with me immediately after i sent a facebook message to her. She took me at the last minute with no hesitation. She provided me with the location of her salon whuch is conveniently located near the airport. She was very welcoming and friendly and her salon is very clean and professional and her decor is amazing. Reggie asked me questions about my hair in attempt to get some insight about my natural hair journey. After my vonsultation I received the best hair wash that I have evet had. The deep condition hydration treatment was very exhilarating. Reggie made super my hair was very hydrated which is a must for healthy hair. Reggie gave me a much needed trim without going scissor happy and chopping my hair off which i appreciated. Ive had horrible trim experiences but she eased my mind by showing me what we going to take off. She pressed my hair out super straight and silky and then curled my hair the way i like amd pincurled up for me so that my drop curls would be popping the next day at my sister wedding. My hair cam out amazing and Reggie is super amazing herself!!!! My hair maintained its curls and did not revert after being pressed out. Her cashmere silk presses are the best. She is a must see!!! My curls lasted for about a week but my hair remained light and full of body for 2 weeks. Reggie Jaye is my new go to person!
