I've been fortunate enough to have received multiple arrangements from the talented team at the Flower Corner. Their actual stand location is primely situated in the Castro but I've benefited from their affordable delivery within the city! My jaw drops each time these vibrant and jam-backed bouquets arrive. I can easily fill 2-3 vases with the arrangements and the long stems make them flexible to restyle. Color, scent, texture, bloom freshness are all taken into account with great care and attention to detail. Don't sleep on Flower Corner to spoil your loved ones or treat yourself- you deserve it and you won't be disapointed!

Incredible! I was looking for a local flower delivery in the Castro for a friend who lives there and stumbled upon Flower Corner on Instagram. Even though the website isn't working, I texted Juan and he responded immediately and shared some pricing options. Within 2 hours, the flowers were delivered to her doorstop and the pricing was very reasonable, he shared a sample photo before but I was just blown away by the actual arrangement. Great to support a local business too!

Wonderful service and gorgeous arrangement!

I stumbled on this shop while searching online for a florist in San Francisco - to surprise my daughter for her birthday. The prior reviews seemed great and I liked the fact that it was a small family run shop with strong advocates. I am so glad I contacted! I called by phone to order a next day arrangement. Pricing was very reasonable, and offered options for a container and delivery. I ordered a small arrangement and he asked about colors, favorite flowers. I asked him to choose the florals, colors - having experience with floral arranging, I knew it would be best to leave choices to the designer! All subsequent text communications were prompt. On the delivery date, he attempted to deliver and my daughter did not answer her bell - but he went out of his way to call me immediately (several attempts!) to redeliver the same day. I felt guilty that I did not think to give him the gate entry code, upfront....next time. The arrangement was stunning, bigger and packed with more flowers than I expected and was a huge hit with my daughter. Here is a photo.... He will be my go to floral service in San Francisco!

This is the second year I'm getting a wreath from the Flower Corner run by Juan and his family. His wreaths are beautiful and he has great prices. This is probably the smoothest and most easy time I have had when it comes to ordering flowers. Juan did an excellent job creating a bouquet that I needed delivered. I simply picked up the phone, talked to Juan for a few minutes and gave him my information and texted him my friend's address with what message I wanted on the card and he delivered it the next day. I got picture updates of when the bouquet was completed and then again when it was delivered. It was something he didn't have to do but of course he did. My friend told me that she loves the flowers! She loves how they smell and the bouquet looks amazing. Thank You, Juan!

I researched and read a LOT of Yelp reviews and am so happy to have found the Flower Corner! I reached out to Juan yesterday (1/6/2021) for a vase arrangement and he responded to me within an hour of my text. I provided him with a sample photo and he confirmed he'd have the arrangement ready today or tomorrow. He was very responsive and easy to work with. I asked him to send me a photo of the arrangement once it was done and he did NOT disappoint. The flowers were gorgeous and definitely a lot better than most florists and online retailers. He also delivered the arrangement within an hour after sharing the photo with me and also shared a photo showing they were delivered. I will definitely reach out to Juan again in the future! The only con is that he's located in SF and probably only delivers to SF addresses (I didn't ask how far he delivers). If he delivered to the East Bay / South Bay, I'd definitely order flowers for myself, family and friends but if I happen to be in SF, I'll definitely stop by the Flower Corner to pickup some flowers. :) Thanks, Juan! Amazing service and beautiful flowers!! I called from LA to get flowers delivered to a friend in SF and Juan was very helpful. I told him anything colorful and nice and he did not disappoint!!! I called The Flower Corner on a Thursday to place a last-minute order for an anniversary arrangement, and they absolutely came through for me. They picked up the phone right away, were kind and helpful, and put together a stunning bouquet that was ready for pickup the very next morning. The pricing was more than fair for the quality, and you can tell they put real care into their work. They were also super flexible with pickup, and what really impressed me--despite the rain that morning, they were already at the stand waiting for me with a smile. That level of dedication and customer service is rare. Awesome arrangements. Juan has a good eye for color and symmetry. He made all my wedding flowers. The bride's maid, groomsmen, center pieces, chapel piece, bride bouquet. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Juan charges very reasonable prices and the flowers last! The $10 delivery fee can't be beat. I've bought bunches of flowers for my home; sent arrangements to friends in SF for various occasions; received bouquets from my friends; and purchased wreaths from Flower Corner. I live nearby and walk past the stand several times per week. Unless he's busy with a customer, Juan always says hello and when time permits we chat about life, our families, holiday plans, etc. read more

Right next to Bagdad Cafe at the corner of Market and 16th you'll find this great little no-name flower stand. Impeccably fresh and brightly-colored blooms...some go for as little as $5 a bunch, with the most exotic at that much per stem. There are also fragrant gardenias floating in cool water, just waiting for a girly-girl to come along and tuck one behind an ear. My best friend lives right around the corner and I spoil him with a lush bouquet of tulips, roses or lilies whenever I come to visit. Fresh flowers make such a nice tradition, don't they? read more

Juan is absolutely wonderful and was a joy to work with. I ordered a last minute bouquet for my bf's sister and it was stunning. Did not expect to get such a big and beautiful bouquet for an affordable price in the city. He even let me text him photos of the type of bouquet I wanted, along with a list of flowers I was hoping he could include. She said it was the most beautiful bouquet she's ever received. Our favorite flower corner which is so convenient and always a pleasure to visit. Juan is very sweet and generous with wrapping and ribbon. He's brightened my son's day on a few occasions with various blue ribbons. Having people like him in the city makes all the difference. Thanks a bunch, Juan! I haven't written a review in quite a while but Juan truly deserves one :) He knocked a same-day-last-minute delivery request out of the park! I was referred to him by multiple friends and I'm so happy I called him (vs. any of the other local florist options out there. The bouquet was stunning and exactly as we agreed, communication with him was easy, and bonus he was able to deliver same day despite my guess that it wouldn't be possible. Win win win win win! I will definitely be calling Juan again! read more

I had specifically ordered from Diosa because of how beautiful and whimsical the floral designs were on their Instagram and their website. I had even paid the extra delivery fee to get this delivered outside their service area because I was happy to support this small business! But what I got was a sad average looking floral arrangement that I could have gotten from a grocery store (see picture). This is certainly not the value of a $135 arrangement that is depicted on their website. Additionally, their website says that they include a hand written card. I wasn't expecting an actual big folded card with envelope, but at the very least I expected it on a blank notecard?I certainly wasn't not expecting the note to be on their business flyer which I find to be a little tactless, considering how I emphasized that these were exciting congratulatory flowers being sent to a professional office when placing my order with them over phone. I even asked if the medium was a good size to send since the large vase arrangement looked really huge on the website. And they assured me that the arrangement would be about 1.5/2 feet tall. As you can see from my photo this was not even 1 foot tall. I would have gladly paid for the large vase arrangement if it meant a more impressive floral arrangement. But sadly I don't think I would have gotten anything better if I ordered the large vase arrangement. I understand that flowers are seasonal and I wasn't going to get exactly what they have on their website. But the arrangement I received isn't even in the same realm of the arrangements on their site and Instagram. I will say their customer service was good and they were able to deliver. But I definitely won't be ordering from here again. Total bummer since I was really hoping to support them again in the future.

They then gave me a box to hold the flowers with the vase. There was a cute note on the box saying that if you return it, you'll get a free rose. I honestly thought it would be just a single rose, but when I came back, they surprised me with a large, gorgeous pink rose, along with baby's breath and rose foliage, and all wrapped so nicely. The lawn is always green and beautiful, perfect for letting my fur baby run around and play (or potty) and you will always see people enjoying the space, stretched out reading or talking with friends or just soaking up the peace. One of my favorite things about Union square is the art. The giant hearts are iconic in San Francisco and they're always being repainted and reimagined by different artists, so no matter how many times you come here, you will always see something new. I've seen so many versions over the years but I still stop to look at them every time I'm here because there is always something new. The hearts the statues, the occasional pop-up installations or performances, the square always feels alive. There is also always something going on. On my last visit here there were ping pong tables set up everywhere with people playing. I saw juggling classes being offered and arts programs for kids with people gathered around having a good time. There was a reading area and books brought in on carts. They even still had up there holiday backdrop that looks like it was put there just for people to use for the perfect insta shot. There are plenty of tables and benches scattered around so it's easy to grab a seat and stay a while. Even if you're just passing through and you need to rest your dogs for a few minutes, this is the perfect spot. I spent more than a few afternoons here people watching or enjoying a snack from the little stand nearby. It's really a great place to spend some time and a must do if you are in San Francisco. On the weekends you will find people trying to usher you onto bus tours or maybe sell you souvenirs, but you might also witness an event or see straight performers so you never really know what you're going to get. This is a place for visitors and locals wiith nice surroundings where you can really get a feel for and just to take in the city.

I could not sing enough praise for this flower shop/stand on the corner of 16th & Market. Located street-side right outside the Castro Republic. I stopped by on my way to a memorial service to get a fresh bouquet. The staff was very understanding and sensitive toward the circumstance that I was buying flowers for, and they were extremely attentive with helping me select and customize a lovely, elegant arrangement.
