I talked to Juan and described what I wanted--bright, colorful, happy, with orange and purple--and it was clear he understood the assignment. I appreciated the option of a paper-wrapped bouquet, no vase, because who among us doesn't have an entire shelf of vases honoring floral gifts from the past. I paid by Venmo, nothing could be easier. When Juan texted a photo, the arrangement was even lovelier than I'd hoped, just a beaming ray of sunshine. Then I breathed a sigh of gratitude for the beautiful rightness of this moment. You won't find exotic or long lasting flowers here, but you will find plenty of beautiful bouquets and potted plants that make for excellent gifts. Their dyed roses are absolutely eye catching and stand out amongst typical red roses. I will reiterate that the flowers you get here won't last more than a week tops, but they will do nicely in a pinch. Known Salvador since high school and I started working here at 450 Mission Street about 4 months. I chat with him almost everyday in the morning or lunch or on the way out of the office. Nice guy, totally committed to the customer, and crafts amazing arrangements that he designs or custom makes to accommodate customer requests. Works with customers if they are on a budget, or shares ideas for the occasion; and I notice that the customer walk away happy. The people are very nice and the flowers are for a great price, very cheap. We needed purple roses and the roses we got were more white with a violet, but none-the-less they were very pretty roses and for an amazing price ... 18 roses for $18. We also got a bunch of flowers for our centerpieces for our event, and it was given for a very good price as well. Love this place! This stand is a half block from my work, which sweetens the deal. I started coming here 4 years ago. Since then, I have not been disappointed. The gentleman who works at the stand is always so kind and helpful. If I say I have ten bucks to spend, he'll come up with some $10 options and will never put something together you won't like. There are always bouquets already put together. I don't think I've seen one more than $15. A few weeks ago I got a bunch of calla lilies for $4! What?! I just bought a gorgeous bouquet and I am very happy with the quality of flowers. I told him I wanted a large bouquet that smelled nice and looked great for around $20 and I was sent home with a beautiful, aromatic arrangement of a dozen peach/pink-ish roses, tuberose stems, and lilies, also with some eucalyptus. I am truly happy too because the total came to $25 and it's large! He also helped pick flowers that weren't fully open so they will be enjoyed for longer. My ma was very very happy - she said she felt like a queen receiving such a grand bouquet! I once bought a cute bouquet of flowers at this other flower stand in the Montgomery station which was a dumb mistake because why would you buy flowers from a place that is indoors with absolutely no natural light?! I'll never go back there because those flowers never bloomed! Yelp saves the day again. I searched on "flowers" and sorted by highest rated close to my office (which is at Fremont and Market). This little gem popped up. In front of the TransBay bus terminal?! I didn't recall ever seeing a flower stand there and it's only half a block from my office. Yet when I found it (it actually isn't that hard to locate... just look on Mission about halfway between Fremont and 1st, but closer to first, in front of the terminal) I was shocked at what a great place it is. There were a couple pre-made big bouquets for only $15, but mostly there were tons of beautiful bunches or all different varieties. I told worked with the guy there to pick out varieties and colors I liked, in a price range I was comfortable with, and he put everything together. My bouquets were for twins' b-days, so he split everything in half from a dozen white roses, a dozen deep blue iris, and stems of lillies. He rounded it all out with some nice dramatic greens and selected ribbon to match. The bouquets were gorgeous and much less expensive than at other places, and I was the only one there (even though it was 5pm on a work day), so it was quick! Most importantly, the flowers are clearly fresh and high quality. No handing someone a present and hoping they don't notice the half-dead fillers. A great option for flowers for any occassion. I'll go back for sure. And as another commented, they do take credit cards (somewhat surprising for their setup). read more

A little disappointed with this florist after reading all of the rave reviews. The flowers are pretty nice here and they are one of the cheaper places in the area. However, I didn't really get any attention even though I was the only customer. It was like I had to pick my own and put the bouquet together myself. Also I would ask questions and pretty much be answering them myself, while he was on his ipad playing a game. Flowers are nice and cheap, but don't expect first class service. read more

By far the most traumatic florist experience I've had. The florist here is very unfriendly and mean, and has little patience with customers. I asked him for recommendations on a custom bouquet I was trying to make and his response was "I don't know what you're trying to make! all these flowers go together, just pick from them" and proceeded to watch soccer on his little tv. He kept sighing as I pulled out/put back flowers. He stapled the plastic wrapping without tying the stems together, so the final product was very flimsy and ugly (how can a florist make flowers so ugly????) Then when I asked him to cut the stems, he literally cut straight across the wrapper, causing the staples to become undone but he of course did not give a shit. Very little flower variety as well. There are definitely way better florists in SF. read more

The seasonal flowers sold at this stand are always fresh, fragrant, and vibrant-colored, and best of all, the flower bunches are jaw-droppingly affordable--especially for the Financial District. I don't think I have ever paid over $15 for flowers at this florist, and I have purchased different dozens of roses and other floral bouquet arrangements. Two significant factors that make me an avid (or rabid) fan of Reynoso Florist, is their service (they offer your your choice of different colored ribbons, cellophane or paper, and tiny flower cards with envelopes--all free of charge!) The bouquets they sell are colorful and masterfully arranged. The vivid flowers are high-quality and fresh as well--even though a bundle may cost $5, the flowers you get ain't those half-wilted, bruised, and browning flowers that you pay $5 for at the Civic Center Farmer's Market. And did I say that they take credit card?! This flower shop is a truly a gem (and a lifesaver during "surprise" birthdays, Valentine's Day, or Mother's Day). read more

A solid local / downtown florist. Operates out of a kiosk in front of a Walgreens. Will mix-and-match bundles / groups of flowers for you, isn't too expensive without being really cheap-feeling as well. Not my favorite of the downtown florists, but a good option if you want to bring flowers home and are heading to the temporary transbay terminal, which means I'll go back again and again. read more

He was very accommodating and basically just let me pick the colors I want, then he put the flowers together just like the picture I showed him! It looks amazing! I used to walk past his stall for years (back when the original transbay terminal was still there!) and he always has very fresh flowers. I just got off the phone with the owner and it was far from pretty. I'm having a wedding and wanted to determine a price range for all the flower arrangements/ bouquets I wanted and asked to see a portfolio but he did not have one. I asked about a website with possible photos.. also none.. That is absolutely fine but the worst part was how he hung up on me. This guy is UNPROFESSIONAL and I'm glad he treated me like this because I would have dropped some major $$$$ for a wedding with someone that I can't work with. This small business deserves a five star from me, because it was more than just a flower stand. I've walked pass this stand numerous times & always thought it was a place to pick up flowers and pay/go. Instead my first purchase experience was florist/custom design experience, where the owner (I think) help suggest flower types and arranged it for me. I approach the stand wanting to walk away with a "get well" arrangement for a colleague. I asked the owner for help on what type of flowers I can buy besides rose bouquet since rose symbolizes romance. He gave me some suggestions and asked how much I want to spend. I actually brought my own vase so I told him I wanted to buy enough flowers to fit the vase. Well, price was not an issue since his hydrangeas were $3.50 a head, and $6.99 for a bunch of iris. We ultimately put together a nice arrangements of dahlias, iris, 2 rose steams because of the gorgeous coral color pop and some other long stems all under $25. And he was so kind to arrange everything nicely in the vase for me and put some big leaf/water in the vase to have that "professional look" where you don't see the stems in the clear glass vase. My finish product looked like professional flower delivery, where my colleague actually thought it was delivered from a florist service and I think it almost made her cry *yay*!. I will be going back next week to make one for myself. read more

I stopped by at 4pm on the day before Thanksgiving, having just realized that I had nothing to bring to dinner with the boyfriend's parents. The guy was very, very nice and helped me put together a huge, gorgeous bouquet -- a dozen roses, half a dozen lilies, a couple of huge peonies and assorted garnishes -- for less than $35. These were good quality flowers, too -- big blooms, great colors, firm stems and no wilting. Definitely saved my day! read more
