I visited 4 hair transplant experts across DFW, and chose Paragon Plastic Surgery as they were essentially the total package. Dr. Bishara sat down for almost an hour during our initial consult to hear about my wishes for hair restoration, to include whether what I wanted was even possible. He also explained 4 key steps, when taken together over time, that will ensure the long term viability of any transplanted hair. While not every expert that I talked to said the exact same things in terms of post-op medicine/processes, Dr. Bishara did not rule out those other perspectives in a rude way -- rather he explained that his understanding of the science gave him different conclusions. He was also not pushing product....if you did not want to move forward on a particular technology or item, he said ok and let you know it's potential impact in a professional way. I ended up doing 3,000 grafts, which took about 10 hours from start to finish. The team in the room, in addition to the doctor, were all friendly, funny, and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I m 73 years old and from Oregon. After I had signed the papers and they had my money. They in formed me I would need these tests eye exam, heart xray, and ekg. By our conversation at that point in time they made me think I would b responsible for the eye exam which I had had one in May in Oregon. They said oh yes as long as it was in the past 6 months.  So I called my eye Dr. Friday and asked them to fax my info to them. On Monday I called and asked them if they had received it. At that time they said yes. And proceeded to tell it would not work. It had to b in the last 30 days. And then told me that I would also need the ekg and heart xray at my expense. I reached out to my Dr in Oregon at that point. She called me back on Tuesday. When I told my Dr. The situation. She went online and looked at Dr basharas credentials. She tore him apart. She told me that he has no board certifications or is a member of any of the medical societies that Drs belong to that basically solidify their credentials.. Basically she said he has no credential for anything but hair replacement. She also said all of the pictures on the site were canned. She said Sherry do not let him touch your face. I then called them and said I wanted to cancel the surgery. This was actually 2 working days after I had been there if they are even open on Friday. Finally late yesterday I received an email from Melanie who actually did the scam to me.  For the refund of 12363.00$ which is the amount I paid less 10% I will not be able to relate anything that happened regarding how I was treated. Signed by Mark basharas md. The caveat is the wording. "Once we receive this back, we can issue your refund and it typically will take about 10 days to get back to you." I have disputed the credit card charged and hopefully with the email she sent I can reclaim that money.  Leaving them with the $2500. Cash I paid them and no receipt. So there it is folks. I'm a trusting Oregonian not an scam educated Texan. There should really be a law against people like him.

Even though I live out of state and had to travel for my procedure, the entire process was seamless. They made sure I completed all of my pre-op testing on time and even reached out to other doctors on my behalf to ensure my results came in before my procedure. That level of care meant everything to me. On September 26 it was one year since my breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Michael. I came here…read morebecause I knew some people who had their surgery done with him and everything went well, and also because on his Instagram the patients' photos looked good--so I trusted him without knowing it would be one of the worst decisions. Not only did he leave me with one breast smaller than the other (yes, I know it's natural for one breast to be slightly smaller, but if you undergo breast surgery it's supposed to make them look even and actually show the results), but in my case one breast was left noticeably smaller. The only way it even looks like I had surgery is if I wear a push-up bra. It's sad because I never said I wanted to look "natural" or like I didn't have surgery. The day of the surgery, they gave me a bra that was way too small, which left marks, hurt a lot, and was very uncomfortable. On top of that, they sutured the left breast with very few stitches, which left me with a deep open wound for more than 4 months. They didn't care about it and only tried to charge me more money for a "vacuum cleaner" treatment they claimed would close the wound "quickly." It cost around $500-$600, plus $50-$60 each time I went to change the dressing. When I told them I didn't have the money, their only solution was to tell me to go to a wound care center if I had insurance. You might ask, why wait a year to write this? Well, because their response was always: "Every body is different and you have to wait at least a year to see results." So I waited a year, and believe me, every single day I regret it and it makes me sad that I have to wear a bra for it to even look like I had surgery, and that one of my breasts is smaller than the other. When I brought this up, they told me they could "fix" my breasts and that I only had to pay $7,435 because there was a "VIP discount" of -$750 (I don't even know what kind of discount that is). Obviously, I didn't say anything else, because what experienced surgeon leaves you with one smaller breast, poorly sutures you, gives you a bra that injures you, and then wants to charge you more money? (By the way, I had already paid for two surgical bras. When I told them the first one they gave me was too small, they only exchanged one and I ended up losing the money for the first bra.) Also keep in mind, seeing the doctor is a whole process. After the surgery, I had to go three separate times just to be able to see him. He has a lot of positive reviews, but not everything is as perfect as it looks! Supposedly, they put in 485cc implants, but it doesn't look like it. My right breast is quite saggy and they don't even look like silicone implants. Honestly, without a bra they don't look operated at all, there's no shape or definition. They only gave me the implant card days later, and that was because I specifically asked for it. This was my experience, and it was not good at all. I wish good luck to those who want to take the risk of having surgery here.
