I know parts were scarce and companies were over worked so we were very understanding that there wouldn't be an immediate fix. It took awhile for them to come out but that was still understandable. This is where it goes from run of the mill delay to an outright series of lies and waste of time. When our normal technician came out he began his work and I told him to let me know if he needed anything. After awhile he brought me outside and I could see that there were some parts on the ground. He told me he needed to go get a part and he would be back shortly. Okay cool so I waited as I had cleared my schedule to make sure if anything came up I'd be there. At the time I didn't realize it but he didn't specify what part it was that he needed. It was just a part and he never returned. To this day he has never returned and that was back in March. I called the main office and spoke with the supposed owner who said he would personally come out and see what's going on. He never came and stopped returning all phone calls and emails. Having no idea what part was needed or what stage of fixing the problem he was originally in I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Today as of writing this post is the first time we were able to get another company out to work on the pool turned swamp. So after paying this company thousands to replace some things a couple years prior we now have to pay a different company to replace things that wouldn't have been ruined if they would've done their job or at least let us know what the issue was. So before you give them a chance I want you to know exactly who you're dealing with.

Closing was delayed for 3 weeks because of plumbing and pool issues from the freeze. There was this specific part that everyone seem to be looking for. It was a hard find, but during the time it took to get to the sellers to fix the pool, I reached out to Chris and he said he had used part that was still good. He was willing to help us by letting us "borrow" the part until the new one arrived. By doing this, it allowed us to get the pool running and get the other issues fixed. We were able to close on the house that week. On top of that, he dropped off the part and picked it up. This is an extreme act of kindness. He doesn't even know who we are. He didn't demand or ask us to use his service. Most people would say we have to use their service to get the part. We didnt because the seller used their own pool guy and the guy was already involved from the beginning of the process. The people in the FB group highly recommended Chris because he came to fix their pool and their neighbors' pools. Everyone was having pool issues and it was so hard to get parts and for someone to come out. I really appreciate Chris for his generosity and for helping a stranger. I didn't even know they were here and stopped by just because I was curious. Boy was it a pleasant surprise to be greeted by professionals that know their trade. I pride myself on knowing a little about pools and the care of my pool, but my knowledge pales in comparison to the level of expertise these guys show. They provide product as well as service form your pool. They have a large variety of the daily needs in-house and they are priced competitively. If you have problems with your Polaris pool sweep, they can fix it for you and there's no labor charge, you only play for parts. As I discussed different chemicals, one of the gentlemen had "Rainman" like knowledge of any chemical or process needed to treat a pool. They also have great pool water testing equipment for accurate readings of your current chemicals. The place is spotless, and after a playing a game of "attempt to stump the professor", I am glad to say these guys are worth your time if you need to address any issues with your pool. On 5/10/2023 We brought aPolaris Quattro sport cleaner from Swim Clear in McKinney,Tx. Booster Pump…read moregoing so call them still in warranty said have charge us $!69.00 to have Brian Tech come out and check on it. Question I was being charge as it was in warrant and Polaris said they paid for service . Any Brian came out said it was going. We couldnt put new cleaner in under we go relacement from Polaris again Brian came out and installed it. They same day he put the Polaris Quattro out of the box put it in pool. The cleaner would climb only half wall. Brian it will take few days for it work. Before he went it went up one end wall almost to waterline then right down. didn,t do it again. He check the pressure everything was good and new booster pump. Told we didnt like it give it few days. He left in pool run it all night which we did. Next morning there was parts all in pool from cleaner. We took picture right of pool. Store open call said that asst manager on vacation only one could return it. Mean while found that they have had alot of problems with this unit from not came to waterline etc We didnt want another one, said there would be restocking fee of 25% . Top of it took restocking off !,149.99 not with taxes which I paid 94.87 in taxes total I paid was 1,244.86. Fee was 288.00 got back 861.99 plus only 71.11 in taxes total 933.10. Taxes I paid when brought it was 94.87. So they got $311.76 plus 23.76 different tax that I paid total $335.52 they got plus unit that was only water for 8 hours with all paper work plus box. and warranty card. By way the restock fee is no where on the receipt or on their website or does saleman say anything. We never seen it by register pretty sure I would of notice it as mention to saleman that if it didn't climb wall to waterline bring back yes never said anything about restocking fee. That's one was to get money . Be the way they also got paid twice once by us any another by Polarlis for Brian to come out on my booster pump that was in warranty. I had my pool measured and was trying to go forward with that order in September and then waited two months for the company to tell me that the third party company we have used is no longer returning phone calls...so started this venture for a new pool cover. Fortunately I went to Yelp and despite having limited reviews I called Pool Leaf and Safety Covers. Kirby answered and we scheduled an appointment for two days later. I liked what he had to say which was that we will custom measure and build your cover in the driveway and install it the same day! Talk about fantastic service!! And the price was $600 less than I had previously been prepared to pay. So between the service and the price we had a real value here. I was scheduled for December 12th for the install but they had an opening on December 6, so they installed it then. Even had a wind storm that blew leaves all over the cover that night and I was able to know I had saved myself an hour of scooping leaves. Give Kirby a call and save yourself some time, too!

We ended up contacting three different companies (based on online reviews) and heard back from only two. The prices from both companies were similar and affordable. Kirby was professional and friendly in his interactions with us. While we were waiting to hear back from the third company, Kirby checked back in on us by phone and we ended up going with them. The entire process was easy. They showed us samples and went over all of our questions. They were prompt and on time. Kirby and Taylor worked hard in this extreme heat and completed our job in one day. We can't believe the product and how they have thought of every aspect - the material (which is sturdy), the hooks to secure it (which our flush with the ground and attractive), the ease of the install and removal process - we will not hesitate in recommending this company! We love the way it looks - the green that we chose does not look obtrusive in our yard; it blends right in with our yard. The cover and rack that it stores on isn't too large; we are able to store it inside of our garage. And we are happy that it comes with a 10-year warranty. My husband is especially excited since our pool is surrounded by trees, many of which overhang the pool. We look forward to installing it in the fall and we love the fact that we can just take the cover off of the spa in the fall and winter so that we can continue to use it. The did a beautiful job, replacing the coping with travertine, replacing the mini-tile with beautiful tiles that were even standard price, micro-pebble surface, and added autofill, overflow valve, railing and wifi system. Last minute we asked them to also move the pool pump and they brought in a larger team to get that done at the same time! My only negative is 2 minor issues. 1) they didn't notice or check until the resurface was pretty much done that the decorative tile I had picked out and paid for to install on the steps was too big for the shape of the step. So now I don't have it because it was already too late to find something else. 2) The evening before they were going to resurface, I noticed the team had neglected to install the autofill. I called they thanked me for catching it, and had someone come back and install it before the resurfacing was started. So just check periodically, but otherwise they were 99% awesome! I would definitely recommend them.

The work was done in half the time other companies promised despite some weather challenges. They don't contract the work out so I felt comfortable with the team. They also didn't charge an upgrade fee for the higher quality products I wanted. I wanted the upgraded plaster called Stonescapes Small Puerto Rico Blend in Tropics Blue. The results surpassed my expectations.
