I am not here to say that my pool is perfect and that it doesn't need any work, but I will say that it needs a company that is more customer-oriented. Our pool began to turn green, so we were told the filters needed to be cleaned. The company came and cleaned the filters, and charged us. One week later and the algae returned. Now we were told that we needed new filters. That should have been mentioned the week before during the cleaning, but that's fine. We bought new filters and installed them ourselves. The pool was still green for weeks until one day it wasn't. We didn't have issues for a while. Then, one day my wife noticed that the debris was in the same place in the pool the day that the company was supposed to come out. The next day, the pool turned green. We checked our backyard cameras and they never were there cleaning our pool, yet we were still charged for services. When we addressed this with the pool company, we were met with a hostile and argumentative response. Even though we showed them that our cameras never captured their employees on the date and time that they claimed to be there, the company refused to put the customer first. They said that the green in our pool was a result of our filtration system and not from our pool not being treated despite video evidence. Needless to say we would not recommend this company to anyone. We had issues from the start, but kept up good faith until we were shown that they would charge and argue for services not rendered. read more

I have had my pool replastered/retiled, pool equipment replaced thanks to the freeze (before I had the weekly service), and weekly service by Pool Pros. You get a photo report of everything done to clean and maintain your pool. They had me up and running well before everyone else because they advised me of backlog concerns after the freeze and got me in the queue fast. My pool was running 1 hour before my last service call only for me to be told afterwards it was not and that I needed a new capacitor. They wanted to charge me $150 to replace a $25 part to have someone come back out the next day. I opted to simply cancel my service. They also do not hound you for extra services like many other companies. If need repairs then can reach to them and get immediate response and their total cost of repair is less than I have found the parts online. They also stay on top of equipment so monitor it so do not have the major breakdowns. Have had several pools over the years and many more service companies. We contacted Pool Pro's and they gave us an estimate to keep the pool sparkling clean. As soon as they started the pool was never clean. They blamed the landscapers ( which we do not have ) for the lack of cleanliness. They changed the filters and the pool turned green. I paid for good service but, when i asked for better service they said our pool was too hard to clean and they did not want to service it. Had this service for a year and waste of money!! Blake was always responsive but never took accountability for their poor service. I was told the pool was too low (not true), filter too small (which was first expensive lie he got me with), or the filter needed to be changed/cleaned or some other expensive maintenance on a new pool. Dirt was ALWAYS at the bottom of the pool when the tech left. Then it was you need to have weekly Vs biweekly service, which didn't change a thing. Pool was always dirty. Complete insanity. Guess he laughed all the way to the bank that I kept service this long. And when I cancelled, no offer to make things right. No apology!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE Wish I could leave no stars. Initially was very excited for Pool Pros as we switched to them over the summer. They cleaned our pool every week all summer and everything was always great your pool is sparkling clean( I have all the emails saying everything works great). All that changed when we inquired about having our pool filter cleaned (as we do every 6 months). We had to schedule it separately per the cleaning guy (who never said another word about it after saying it had to be scheduled with someone else but he wasn't sure as he was new), so not the usual pool tech coming out - we were ok with but didn't know when that was going to take place. what a joke this was! Not only did they not put the pool filter together incorrectly, but they broke a pipe in the process (on camera but of course they denied it) . Not a simple break but the pipe was clearly separated from the system 1/2" (no way the pump could have been turned on without a water fountain happening) but nothing was communicated to us. When we called because we saw the broken pipe that's when we found out they had just cleaned the filter, surprise to us! What a coincidence! After arguing about the broken line and finally getting them to come out and fix it, we turn the pump on only to see the filter unit spraying water! (Not sure how they got D&E back into the filter)they clearly didn't check the filter was reassembled correctly after cleaning the filter or after the maintenance tech came to fix it. Sent the owner videos of the leak and all I was your equipment is old but we can fix it for a charge. Sooooo - Had the system checked by another pool tech to find out the filter was not put back together properly and not one ounce of D&E was added. All of this and the owner took no accountability and just blamed it on an old stainless steel filter that worked fine and has no issues before now it was a problem. I get something could have happened but not to get a "hey this is what just happened so you were informed" it was a cover up. All is this on top of breaking our skimmer basket (which we were told is because it's cheap but we can sell you a new one for $50 bucks) When I told the owner we did not want anymore people on our property without consent and that we would be having a second opinion look at equipment-he did not like that so we received a message from Blake saying our equipment was too old to be serviced and they could not service us, and would let us out of our contract. Oh and wait added in a bunch of random charges again with no clarification as to what they are or for. Use this company at your own peril, they are dishonest and have very shady business practices on top of hiring pool techs and maintenance people with no training. Stay far away from these people, they will break things (from either negligence or to get more money out of you). DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR POOL UNLESS ITS BRAND NEW. And even then I bet they will break something just to charge you. Beware you were warned. read more
