Josh is the owner of Cerulean and as a former pool manager, he has cheap products, subpar professionalism, and overpriced services. There are always repairs that go unanswered however they continuously send techs who are unable to complete their job bc the repair still hasn't been done. This is a MANAGEMENT problem! not a tech problem but he money farms his costumers despite the lack of service actually being conducted. read more

Absolutely wonderful!! The owner and the people who work with him are all amazing. They respond quickly every time I leave a message or text. They came right out to give me a quote the same day I contacted them for new service. I have some issues with my pool and they are working with me to get it fixed (they have been out 3 times and have not charged me for those times!!) My last pool people charged me $175.00 for every trip even though I had been a customer for over 3 years. The price of My monthly service went down significantly and I couldn't be happier. Cerulean Pool Services is fantastic. The owner, managers, and staff are all super nice and professional. The staff is trained and they all do a great job. Something that sets Cerulean apart is that they are honest and truly look out for their customers. When it comes to maintaining the equipment they remind us so we don't forget. Also, and really important to me, they truly work in our best interest with repairs and replacements of the pool equipment. They've saved us a bunch of money in helping us get all the useful life out of the equipment. Their communication is also excellent. We have two dogs. I asked that they text before they come so I can ensure the dogs are inside. They always text 30 minutes prior to arrival. Additionally, when holidays are coming up, they adjust their schedule to ensure all their clients get serviced. Sam always sends a message to let us know they'll come on a different day due to the holiday. I cannot say enough about the level of service Josh, Sam and the whole team provide. Their communication is outstanding, they go above and beyond when preparing owners set things up during winter freezes for example, they have assisted us with questions that aren't related to their weekly pool maintenance, among other things. I've lived in Plano with a pool for 22 years and gone through COUNTLESS weekly pool service companies and these guys are the first I've been truly happy with. I've been on with them for a good six months or so, probably longer now, and I don't have a single complaint. They show up every single week when they are supposed to, no missed visits ever. The only schedule change was once due to a holiday and Josh and Sam let me know in advance, which is all I ask. They also do filter cleanings at a very fair price on a normal schedule, no intervention required by me. Their monthly service fee is extremely reasonable for the quality of work they do. If you appreciate a hands-off, hassle-free approach to a sparkling pool 12 months a year then these are your guys. read more

Josh is amazing and a real gentleman. I just moved into a new home and inherited a swimming pool. Haven't had time to learn how to use it so I left the former owner's settings in place. Well, the motor quit on the pump. I posted on YELP for urgent assistance with a non-operational pump motor and temperatures falling into the low double digits. Josh immediately texted me, got a few facts, and promised to be here within the hour. He showed up right on time, solved my problem and got the pumps running and is going to send his business manager out next week to make sure everything is ok and also show me how to operate the equipment. Cerulean is a Yelp success story for us. We moved to Dallas only a year ago, and it was our first home with a pool. A neighbor recommended their pool guy, who turned out to be unresponsive at times and surly/grumpy all the time. When he went on vacation without telling us, and then was rude when I tried to reach him, I decided to give Cerulean a try based on the positive reviews here. So glad I did. For the same $ as the other guy, Josh runs a professional, buttoned up team operation. Josh was very sympathetic when I explained our situation and sent someone out right away. We needed our backwash valve fixed and used Yelp's "get a quote" function to get...well, quotes. Some people responded quickly, others asked me to contact their office, some said they don't do quotes (and really, why are they using the get a quote function), etc. Josh, the owner, was quick to respond with a straightforward estimate. He was also the most flexible with my busy weekend schedule at the time, so I decided to go with him. Josh arrived on time, and was as pleasant to work with as possible. He came in, removed the broken valve, put in a new one, and tested everything. When it came time to pay, it was exactly the amount he quoted. Nothing out of left field! I liked his professionalism so much that I asked him about doing weekly pool service after our previous guy mysteriously stopped showing up. His monthly rate is very reasonable, so I took the plunge. Three weeks into having him service our pool, and it has been great so far. He's easy to get a hold of, good at his job, and just a nice professional guy to have service your pool. I started my service with Josh feeling like I had chosen the best technician. I worked with him every time he made arrangements to change the scheduled time to accommodate his work schedule by rearranging mine but I experienced his Christian attitude when pushing him to follow through with his own. He lashed out at me via text leaving me high and dry. However, he did return to install the parts he ordered but left us with a dirty pool, scaly film on the pool sides, leaves caught in the bottom drains, and our Polaris not working at all. Not many(any) pool services teach and even encourage you to learn how to maintain and preserve your equipment to avoid costly repairs. But, Josh does. At least with me he did with no charge at all a year ago. Just recently, I had a pool filter freeze with no pool circulation and I couldn't figure out the problem. I thought to myself, what about that guy Josh who seemed so honest. Well he came over, after quoting a possible $400-500 repair, and then solved the problem for a much much lower price. He showed me how to do the repair if it ever comes up in the future! And, he has a great personality. I highly recommend him. read more
