If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Our daughter chose Flowers and Weeds as her flower vendor for her wedding. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. They were a pop of color on a very wet weekend. If I lived in St.Louis they would absolutely be my go to florist for anything and everything.

In the mood for getting some new plants and decided to check this spot out!! Love. Parking on Cherokee St is street parking, but relatively easy during the day. The staff was knowledgeable about the large variety of plants they carry. I've ordered & received flowers from here and they've always been gorgeous- but going in person was an experience. Especially loved the "pet friendly" plant section- that is always a challenge to figure out what could be toxic to pets, the entire back wall is sectioned off and labeled pet friendly! I will for sure come back when it warms up outside!

I adore Flowers & Weeds! The staff are so helpful, and providing compassionate advice when you ask for it. I even had one staffer show me entries in a gardening book so I could take photos of the recommendations when I expressed concern over the skill level of a certain house plant. Over the years, I've bought just about every type of product from them: vegetable and landscape starts, seeds, potting soil, pots, houseplants, and even Christmas trees. Be sure to check out their cut flower selection, too. Although they're a splurge compared to grocery store bouquets, the flowers and greenery are beautiful and locally grown.

This shop is so cute! It has an amazing section for terrarium building and lots of crystals, great pots and vases, and fresh flowers. Must visit for any plant lover.

It was a while back. I remember a friendly staff and amazing selection. I can't wait to go back. I even have a hat pin from here!

I love this place. Their arrangements are the best in the area. I had them do my hair pin and bouquet for my wedding, which my sister picked up for me, so this year on my birthday my sister had them put together and deliver a beautiful arrangement for me. I always think their arrangements are uniquely beautiful. Unlike something from a national florist certainly. If you are looking for something different, beautiful and with some personality, this is the best place to go in STL!

Located at the extreme west end of the Cherokee business district, I'm obsessed with this incredible nursery and shop. Even though I can usually only keep a plant alive for a few months at a time, I love the life a plant brings to a room. Flowers & Weeds has every plant you can possibly dream of bringing into your home. Walking through the store, the plants are all very well organized so you can find exactly what you're looking for. For instance, if you're looking for a succulent, they're all grouped together on the shelves. They also have many plants on display in various pots that help give you inspiration of how you can plant them in your home! They also have a terrarium station that offers you the ability to build your own! It has fun colored sand, stones of every shape and size, as well as moss and other fun add-ins. The employees of Flowers & Weeds are pretty helpful! They are always available to answer questions you may have. This is an invaluable asset to someone like me who does not have a green thumb. The staff also creates stunning floral arrangements. We recently purchased a few winter themed arrangements as holiday gifts for family members. Overall, I'm always so pleased with the quality and selection offered by Flowers & Weeds. During COVID, they've had a great system of online shopping. You place an order online and your plant is ready for pickup the next day. Recently they re-opened to allow customers inside with masks on to shop their selections.

Love this spot. We come here whenever we need a new house plant. Great for cute pots and nice variety of plants, and the service is good too! I am also obsessed with their floral arrangements. Kicking myself for not knowing about them for our wedding, but happy I know about them now. The prices are average - not so overpriced, but not the cheapest either. I like supporting this local business, so the extra cost is worth it over going to Home Depot for the same thing, personally. However, I have cost-compared, and there are lots of plants that are the same price as you might find at Home Depot, so it's really not all that much more. They also have a shop cat, so I was sold at that. Check them out!!

This fantastic little shop is basically my dream bedroom: bright, full of plants, and has some serious jams coming from a boombox in the corner amist vibes of creativity in the air. Plus, I found my new carnivores bestie, Marty McFlytrap - so thanks for the introduction

Oopsie! Went in here to "grab a succulent" and walked out $130 poorer. And I plan to let this accident happen again in about a week. Flower/garden shops are more intimidating to me than a huge gym full of bikini body builders. I don't know the names of anything other than succulents, air plants, and (possible) indoor plants. Hell, I don't even know if plants are indoors or outdoors most of the time. I don't know how much or little to water anything, what size planter to put a plant in, etc. But I love perusing, and obviously, buying. And with my travel schedule and husband's watering habits, I'm buying new plants on the regular. So, this place. It's not in Clayton, or Webster Groves, or any other elitist suburb with women and their rich husband, decorator or gardener decking out their enormous cedar plant box. It's like, normal people, and on Cherokee! It can't get any more laid back than Cherokee. After my initial intimidation situation, it was easily shopable. They were redesigning the inside but it all seems laid out wonderfully. The tropical section in the back was a bit hap-hazard, but I did go in on a day it was snowing, so they probably weren't set up for loads of visitors. The air plant and succulent selection is huge. Not a ton of planters, but just enough and some super cute ones. I got all the wrong sized plants for my planters, but don't be afraid (like I was) to ask for help. They'll even plant your new plant into the new planter right there. I also needed some succulent soil and they filled a pot for me to take home for $3. The "design your own terrarium" section is really cute. All the way down to the plastic GI Joe men and a la fish tank decor. Now that I got over just going to the store itself, I will take the plunge and make a terrarium next time to add to my spending spree. The outside is unassuming, but it's 100% worth the visit.

Flowers and weeds is one of my favorite local garden shops. And an added perk that I can get my Christmas trees here each year. They have been great about COVID restrictions and I love supporting their business.

Near the back of the shop! Cool wall decor!

I went here for the first time and was surprised at the amount of products this garden shop offers. It feels extremely whimsical but if you're claustrophobic this may not be the best place. There are some tight spots but that's okay because the products there are awesome. You can find plants, crystals, pottery, and just about anything else you'll need for your garden. It is such a fun addition to Cherokee street!
